“We stumbled on the excellent value menu on a Wednesday evening. They have a banquet deal which is incredible value for money. Our group of 4 shared the food and every dish was good quality and really tasty. Everything tasted fresh and was spiced to our liking. The service provided by the young man who looked after us was much appreciated as well. Very much recommend The Red Pepper - especially after a couple of pints of Kirkstall Brewery’s 3 Swords in the Black Horse over the road. Thanks for a splendid evening.”

The service was fast, the curries were absolutely delicious, and they even kindly threw in an extra rice and prawn crackers. The food was all so fresh and the king prawns are to die for. “The atmosphere was calm, cool and welcoming. The welcome we received from all staff was everything, I absolutely loved it. The food was great, you can eat as much as you want for less. I particularly loved the rice, chicken and the fish. The dessert was complimentary for us and unfortunately I don’t know the name but I tell you the best was saved for the last because I loved it (you can check my pictures for the dessert). You have to pay extra for your drinks. It was a really lovely time there and I’d definitely be visiting again. I recommend! You may book for a group as large as 10, we all had a lovely evening. Food is halal (for Muslims)”

“Loved this quirky, vibey little place! Different to most 'Indians' - a sports bar serving Asian street food dishes. The food was absolutely delicious. I opted for the Railway Lamb, and my friend had gluten-free chicken Tikka Masala. We had a couple of gorgeous cocktails on Happy Hour. The chocolate cake dessert was really very good - I'm a chocolate connoisseur (addict) and usually chocolate desserts disappoint. Not this one! We sat in one of the lovely booths - we loved the décor! All of the staff were so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. I will definitely be back!”

“I came here because I wanted to try some Curry and chips, and the staff are se lovely and the man who made my order he made sure my order was exactly how I liked it every step of the way once I got my food they offered if I wanted to go next door to sit down and have my food, but after that, I just went home the portion size was a really good size and I definitely had some leftover for lunch for the next day. I recommend coming to this place if you’re in Leeds.”

“Having tried a lot of places in Castleford this place I think gets overlooked, we have always had a good meal from here. The pizzas are great and the prices are also very reasonable. Plenty to choose from on the menu. I would prefer the salad to be boxed salad rather than put under the paper liner when ordering a kebab, I would even pay the extra £0.50/£1 for a good salad side box.”

“I'm from the east coast born & bred &THEY do an absolutely tasty curry..hard to beat I'd say but since coming across this place since living in Leeds only a few years ago well.. this experience we've found is absolutely wonderful. The food is always hot & very tasty & on time. We only go elsewhere wen not open!!!!! Stay open 7days week!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it x”

“Placed an order for collection Friday evening, I was expecting there to be a big wait as it’s a popular time, however food was ready to collect in under 20 minutes. Got home with the food and it was all piping hot, tasted amazing (the mixed kebab on naan is beautiful). Everything tasted fresh, seasoned and a very fair portion size for the price.”
