“This is a great little hardware store, everything from diy to homewares, theyve had bikes, to outdoor furniture. If you don't see it on the shelf do ask as they often carry things in stock. Stock can vary with the seasons as you would expect, garden furniture etc in the summer months for example. Prices a reasonable and all the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I don't think I've ever had to go elsewhere when getting bits for DIY jobs. Highly recommend.”

As I was browsing perfumes ahead of my upcoming holiday, (duty free). I was greeted by a young gentleman named Finley. Although I had no intention of making a purchase that day, Finley’s enthusiasm and professionalism left a lasting impression. Finley demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge about the entire YSL Libre perfume range. Despite my initial uncertainty, he expertly guided me through the options, explaining the unique characteristics of the Libre collection and even the newly released "Flames & Roses" fragrance. I was particularly struck by his ability to convey his passion and understanding and indepth knowledge of the products, especially considering his young age of just 16. Having come from a cold sales background myself, I am well aware of the value of genuine customer engagement. It is rare to find someone so skilled at building rapport with customers, and even rarer to encounter someone with such natural charisma and character. Finley’s approach was warm, informative, and never felt pushy he made the entire experience enjoyable. Thanks to his thoughtful guidance, I ended up purchasing a £105 fragrance. I left the store feeling satisfied and confident in my decision, which is a testament to Finley’s ability to make a sale without exerting any pressure. I would like to commend Boots for hiring such a rare talent. People like Finley are a true asset to your team, and I am certain he will continue to thrive in any future customer-facing roles. “I've recently moved to this pharmacy for my repeat prescriptions, due to problems with my previous one. Can't fault the service from Boots. Always have my items ready on time and gave me great advice on why a certain prescription couldn't be filled, whereas my previously pharmacy just said no. It was sorted swiftly and the team are always so lovely and willing to help. Yes, it can take a while to get through on the phone and yes, sometimes you may have to queue for a little while, but this is a nationwide issue in most places. I have no problems with this pharmacy and very happy I swapped to them!”

I came in looking for Charlotte tilbury but glad I left having bought the bobbi brown foundation for dry skin. Can confirm I’ve just done a 10 hour shift wearing this foundation that I bought this morning, and it’s hasn’t budged ! Most foundations only showcase and highlight my dry skin and texture more, but this foundation is perfect, as Fiona reassured me it was. It’s incredibly hydrating. Fiona is amazing, she really took the time to make sure the foundation was the right shade for me and that it worked for my dry skin. She even recommended a primer, too.
