“Always a great place we visit every year. The owners are very welcoming and always go out of their way to help. Caravans and lodges spotless and I love the fact WiFi isn’t so easy to connect too so a bonus for us. This is a gem of a place for peace and quiet and to escape the hectic world we all live in. Will definitely be going back and staying for longer. We have 2 children and they enjoy it every time both are in their teens. A real chance to talk and be a family connected with old fashion values. Get a board game out or go for walks together this is a great place to do all that and more.”

“Fantastic place with loads of eating places and accommodation at different levels,we stayed at the Motel and the room and services were brilliant.The area surrounding is excellent with great walks and very flat making getting about for older people like us lovely. The speed limit is very low on site for traffic meaning it feels very safe.”

“Bonmarche is the best shop for ladys cloths,, you can get thebest out it there cloths are classy lovely when wash d rearly soft to ware,, i recomend it to freind who no shop there my best freind of 55 yrs still come to mine every tue ,,an her son drops us of at in shop Next bellvail evey wk we cant go past ,,i got yet another4 tops ,, my freind tops jumper knickes ,,a coat the other wk ,,love it an the staff are great then we go have a breakfast at sayers bit of shop n then a pick up to go home ,, Mrs Smith see them next tue XX”

“I contacted Grange about a broken oven, from coming out to check it, buying and fitting a new one and taking the old away, they were so good. I am always dubious of tradesmen at my house because I’ve had many bad experiences and my flat being upstairs and a tiny galley kitchen, many are really negative and rude, but the higuys at Grange were so helpful, they helped each other to navigate the stairs and were calm, polite and professional throughout and I felt really comfortable with them here, and I’m pleased with my new oven which was a very reasonable price for the whole service. Thanks so much guys, you will be my first port of call the next time something breaks!”

“Absolutely top draw service!! 5 STAR!!! Called up for a quote as our LG TV picture had gone a tinge of blue. He explained he would pick up it that afternoon and repair it and bring it back next day!! Service is excellent and would highly recommend. Would definitely recommend and would use again no hesitation for any electrical repair.”

“Great pub, great drinks selection, great food and great entertainment! One of our favourites! As a Bolton fan, the Duke of Wellington is a great venue that puts on match day minibuses to get fans to and from the ground. The pub also screens most Sky and TNT Sports matches, and also has a pool table and dartboard.”

“I am this pubs favourite customer , Nicola is the landlady and every time I come in she has such lovely things to say to me , oftentimes when she isn’t here other patrons of this fine establishment often say to me things such as “ oh Nicola was asking about you “ , “Nicola was talking about you yesterday” it’s nice to attend my local pub and receive the VIP treatment that I deserve . Oftentimes just pulling into the car park my £3.80 pint of carling is already waiting for me at the bar when I enter . It’s the type of service I expect and appreciate . It’s also appreciated that all the bar ladies faces light up when I enter , especially then bar manager Toni , she has told me on a number of occasions that her shift is so much better when I come in , her boyfriend is my best friend so I’m not sure if she says that because she’s my second best friend by proxy or if she genuinely means it , I think she does mean it though because I am a top guy that much is quite obvious . But enough talking about myself , this is a really good pub , everybody’s dead friendly , huge beer garden for the kids with swings and slides , always have lots of events on and stuff and the regulars , myself mainly are absolutely sound . Great local boozer , especially when I’m in”

“This pub was packed on a Sunday afternoon. The landlord / landlady whoever but I'm not 100% who was the owner. Laid on a massive spread for the golf society lads. Could not of asked for a nicer pub. My 1st time ever in the Owls Nest and it won't be my last. Highly recommend this pub to anyone. 6 stars I'd give this pub. Magners £3 a bottle so I was happy. Thank you”
