“The Wishing Well is a local pub in the heart of Church Lane Kingsbury. It is reasonably priced and has a very friendly atmosphere the staff are very helpful and efficient and friendly.”
“Cafes like this are special and this one in particular, from the name of the shop, to the welcoming staff to the quotes hanging on the wall. Come alone, or with a group, either way, it's a good time.”
“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”
“Superb coffee! Their bean selection is on-point and great roast. And the park and surroundings couldn’t be more perfect! You can grab a snack from this cafe or pack a picnic and enjoy while camping on the grass.”
“Lovely food, reasonable prices and comfortable atmosphere.”
“Very lovely atmosphere this time round visiting, I Wasn't going to come back as it was very chaotic last time here, I heard it changed hands to new management and so I decided to come back and Wow! So happy I did! The change is exceptional! Great beer, really calm setting, absolutely lovely. The new manager is lovely, great experience had and I wish her all the best!”
“My favourite curry house in South East London. Friendly service, consistently great food, good portion sizes. We've only eaten in once but takeout is regularly high quality (we drive to collect as it's outside of our delivery zone - proof it's good!).”
“I booked the private room upstairs for my 30th birthday and had an amazing time. For starters the minimum spend was so reasonable compared to other pubs in London, making it far more affordable. The pub were super accommodating of all my requests in the lead up the event. The Head Chef Franc was amazing at helping me create a suitable menu for my guests and helped with lots of my back and forth emailing. Finally the staff were amazing on the day, so accommodating and made my day super special! Everyone still components the food- which was top quality! Would highly recommend for a private event.”
“What a lovely experience. Pub was a little quiet but early Monday so probably expected. Staff friendly and good choice of beers. Am going to go back later in the week as they do Thai food which looks great so will review. Definitely a good again place for me!”
“Had a great time , needs to improve little but rest all good.”
“Fantastic coffee — smooth and rich — and they asked if I wanted my banana bread toasted. I did. It was glorious. Crisp edges, warm centre, perfect pairing. It’s the little things that make a big difference.”
“Super yummy breakfast here! We had Plate 2 and Plate 3. Poached eggs, bubble and squeak total winners. Proper strong tea. Lovely space to sit. Great service. Fab location”
“Reliable place, decent pub food, good ales, and great prices. You can order via the app, and you’ll get it in no time.”
“The Wishing Well is local to me. Beer and drinks are reasonably priced, considering the pub is based in the Greater London area. I've found staff and customers to be friendly. I have seen different cabaret acts and bands at the Wishing Well, all have been fun, entertaining and FREE!”
“Fantastic place, great food and good for children”
“Where do I begin? Out of 3 local cafes in my area the E9 cafe has given me the opportunity to actually write a positive review about. Now don't get me wrong, the other two cafes were 'okay' but that's not what I'm looking for in morning food hunt with the misses. The portion size was great, the E9 special English breakfast was not at all expensive and not burned. The staff are extremely nice and helpful, brang the tea and coffee right away and even the food waiting time was very minimal. Whatever you do wherever you go E9 cafe is the place to be!”
“Food was very tasty, very peaceful enviroment and precision in hygiene. Great experience.”
“Revamped under new ownership, lacks the variey of real ales on draught but vast improvement in food. The chicken wings are amazing! Great selection of music on the jukebox as well. Most recently, I had the chicken pizza, which tasted like home cooking at its best.”
“Came here for the first time for lunch with my partner! Laura was our waitress and she was very friendly! She gave us a few recommendations for our lunch and we weren’t disappointed at all! Definitely will be back here again soon!”
“If you need a solomon fish no fear bones come here and relaxy”
“My favourite place to study after a good climb. Staff are exceptional as is the Zen 'Burger'!”
“I love this place ! The couple who own the shop were super welcoming and genuine. The food was amazing ! I love everything about K's 10/10 .”
