“I popped into LPH Pet Supplies just before closing, hoping they’d have some paint I needed for a project due the next morning. The gentleman working there was incredibly patient and helpful, even though my shop extended into after hours. He took the time to walk me through the store, showing me different options and making sure I had everything I needed for my project. You simply don’t find this kind of service or dedication to customers anymore. This shop is a gem, with a selection that goes beyond pet supplies—they also carry homeware, DIY essentials, and more. It’s a much more personal and enjoyable experience than going to a large chain like B&Q, and if there’s something you’re looking for that’s not in stock, they’ll special order it for you. Bonus: they have the two perfect cats who greet you as soon as you walk in! Thank you, LPH, South Croydon is lucky to have you!”

“It's very easy to tell that Sarah is a 'cat person'. The setup is lovely and I was amazed as how easily my two cats settled in to the room for the 6 days they were to spend here. On return home they were so chilled out and it felt to us a good indication of the care they'd been given during their stay. My son absolutely loved the postcard that arrived the next day from the cats saying what a great time they were having too! Everything felt like the cats are the priority over all else, with an appreciation that it can be stressful leaving your animals with someone else when you go away. We will absolutely be using Dulverton again, thank you Sarah.”

Lorraine clearly cares a great deal about the animals staying with her and we really appreciated that Lorraine shared a photo of Harley on the Now Boarding Croydon Facebook page while we were on holiday so we could see how he was getting on. Would highly recommend!”

“I’ve been taking my rabbit to Scallywags for the past 7 years and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Recently I noticed something wrong with my rabbits eyes and breathing, so took him to the vet who assured me everything was fine. When I next visited scallywags, karen immediately noticed something wasn’t right and strongly advised me to take him back to the vet as soon as possible. Thanks to her keen observation and genuine care, I did just that and after a referral to a specialist, he was diagnosed with a tumour. I’m so grateful to Karen, her knowledge of rabbits is exceptional and her love for animals shines through. I truly can’t thank Karen and the team enough. Scallywags is a rare gem and I couldn’t recommend them enough.”

“Bought my ball python from here today. Absolutely wonderful. All snakes are healthy, well nourished and friendly. Lots of reptiles to choose from and wonderful people who own it. Very knowledgeable and kind hearted couple who are very supportive and honest. All reptiles are in clean, well ventilated vivariums/terrariums and are obviously very well loved. Will absolutely 100% recommend and will definitely be coming back again!”

“We have always had amazing experiences with this vet. My dog hates the vets and they always do anything to make her comfortable. They sit on the floor with her and never offer treats (she has a bad tummy) which shows they have read her file.”

“We recently joined this vet for our cat. We needed to find a vet closer to home which is possible to get to by tram or bus, but also had the option of parking close by. We were very happy with the friendly and professional staff. They were supportive and informative right from when we first made contact over the phone, and again when visiting. The reception and examination rooms were very clean. I felt our cat was very calm throughout and we left happy customers.”

“Absolutely lovely experience. Reception staff were super kind and helpful. When we had gone to another vet clinic privately, the vet had no idea what was causing my dog’s coughing and sent us for a £1,300 heart scan that we couldn’t afford to ‘investigate further’, with no other options offered. Here, at PDSA, the vet was very knowledgeable and told us that the dog has a healthy heart, just needed worming treatment. For £10, my dog’s coughing and choking is already gone after less than a week! I’m incredibly happy and so grateful!”

Ram, our host, made the experience extra special — he surprised us with a bottle of prosecco and chocolates as we were there for a special occasion, which was such a lovely touch. “First time using Gina's services and I was extremely satisfied. Gina was professional and took excellent care of our little Sami (cat) by visiting once a day for a week for feeds and managing his litter! I felt more at ease knowing Gina was there to support us as it is never nice leaving your pets when you go abroad. When we arrived home Sami was very happy and chatting away to us obviously telling us how well he had been looked after.... lots of kisses and cuddle!!!! I would highly recommend Gina. Very professional and trustworthy. Now we can go away knowing that Sami will always be loved and looked after... Thank you.. x”

“Hi… It’s me Clive I would like to sincerely thank manish for his outstanding service at the pharmacy counter on the Christmas holiday .. Despite it being a very busy day and a public holiday. He remained clam, courteous and extremely professional throughout my visit. He was alone on the counter for a while but it took the time to listen carefully , explained everything clearly i had run out of my medicine he show me how you can do emergency or 111 and he helped me a lot.. and handled my request efficiently With a friendly and positive attitude. His dedication a willingness to help truly stood out and made a stressful situation much easier. It is rare to experience such excellent customer service especially on a holiday and manish is real credit to the pharmacy team . “Highly recommend! Would definitely return again. I was initially pretty anxious about dropping off our 14 year old cat L who had never been to a cattery before. I did a lot of research beforehand and Farm Cottage had good reviews, so thought I'd give it a go. They welcome visits if you like before you drop your cat off so that you can check out their facilities etc. I didn't do this due to my own time constraints. However, I was pleased when I dropped L off and they allowed me to sit in her pen with her for as long as I liked to get her settled. I brought her favourite blanket and pillow with me so that she had something familiar with too and this was welcomed. They also support cats with conditions. L suffers with cystitis so I gave the Cattery her medication to provide to her during her stay. The Cattery is also located right next door to a vets, so you have that assurance that if there were any issues a vets is just 1 minute away! One of the best things about this place is that they are happy for you to come and visit your cat whenever (during opening hours). When I was enquiring about catteries, some other places said that visits were not allowed! Obviously for peace of mind you want to see how your cat is doing etc. I visited L one weekend and it was lovely to see her in high spirits. Thank you to Dan and the team for looking after L! I'll be sure to return in the future.”

“I have never written a google review before. However, I felt compelled to do so because of the exceptional service received by all the staff at Goddard Veterinary in New Addington. This is the first kitten I have had as an adult, and I wanted to give her the best start in life, so I visited 2 vets in my location. I could not believe how I was totally ignored at the first vet I visited. I thought if they could ignore a human, then I didn't know what they would do to my kitten. So I then visited Goddard Veterinary and was so happy how Marie spoke to me and explained everything to me. First impressions really do count! Since then, I registered my kitten, and she has attended there and is now an adult cat. She has been looked after so well. I would like to say a very big thank you to Marie, Liz, Helen, and Paulo for all their hard work and how kind, caring, and professional they have all been. I chose to write this review 22 months after having my first visit in order to give a true perspective of the service I have received so far. Whether it's day care or boarding, Zoe and her family are utterly dedicated to the welfare of the dogs they look after; they are endlessly enthusiastic and inventive as we see in the photos and short videos Zoe sometimes sends us.
