“I first found Spaghetti House after playing football across the street in Tufnell Park a few years ago, by accident really. What I found with my Dad was an absolute gem of a restaurant. They have a good variety of options food-wise. I usually go for the Pizza, but the Pasta, Calzone and Meat dishes are all good options too. Prices for these meals usually vary between £8-15, so fantastic value. The beers and wine are reasonably priced too. Despite being part of a chain, I have to say that that is not the vibe you get at all in this restaurant. It is homely, owned (at least in part I believe?) by the staff and a hugely relaxing setting to eat in. The food is great, the prices are very good, but the best part of Spaghetti House is without question the service. You are always greeted with a smile, a handshake, and if you're lucky perhaps even a free shot at the end. The restaurant is just opposite the Tufnell Park Dome, which does quite a few gigs around the year. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend popping into the Spaghetti House for a fantastic meal!”

“Traditional Italian restaurant serving dishes as you would expect but also traditional street food from the region of Puglia. Service and staff were outstanding. The restaurant decor is stylish modern but a relaxing chiled out ambiance, especially in the evening when the lights are dim. There is 2 dinning areas the main area for parties of 4 or more then a side "hut" for parties of 2. This is better if you want an intimate less distracting meal with a friend or partner but can get cold in winter I assume due to the blankets that are available. The menus is made up of 4 main categories. Bites or starters which are small dishes. Shared plates you get a little more and order a few if you are not having a main dish. Bombetta - traditional Italian cured meats with cheese. Grills - main dishes. Everything on the menu was delicious without exception! The wine list is good but this can add up quickly to your total bill so have a drink before hand if you are feeling thirsty! All in all this is a hidden gem in the area and we'll worth a visit. I'll definitely come back to try other items on the menus as it all looked and tasted delicious!”

“The tomato noodle was sooooo good! Especially in this cold weather. Tasted that soup and swallowed the whole way down to your stomach. Warming up your whole body. That was really nice.”

“Wow.....What a fantastic meal! - the offer with First Table is exceptional value for money. We ate like royalty and did not hold back.....nibbles, starters, sushi and mains - everything was simply delicious!! I highly recommend the Tuna Tostadas to start, what an immense way to get your taste buds going - the tuna was so fresh and the lovely hint of heat from the jalapeños.....yum! Other highlights were the Red Prawn Truffle - so light and yet packed with intense flavours and also the Spicy Buttermilk Chicken Karaage - so crispy and juicy. The Black Miso Cod of course was a true delight, with that deep, rich flavour coming throb with each bite - the slight charring on the edges giving a nice texture. If you have room for dessert, the Passionfruit Creme Brulee was stunning, beautifully presented, served with little diced cubes of fruit and tasted sublime. To note, the service was impeccable - our server was friendly, attentive, helpful and genuine. “I had a wonderful experience at Villa Mamas. The moment I stepped inside, the space felt warm and inviting — relaxed, stylish, and with a touch of homely Gulf charm that sets the tone for the entire meal. It’s the kind of restaurant where you instantly feel at ease. The food was the standout. I ordered the machboos, and it was exceptional — beautifully seasoned, aromatic, and full of depth without ever feeling heavy. Every bite had that comforting home-cooked quality, but elevated with precision and balance. You can clearly taste the chef’s roots and passion in the way each dish is put together. The service was also excellent. Staff were attentive without hovering, and genuinely friendly. They guided me through a few menu recommendations and checked in just the right amount. It made the experience feel personal rather than routine. Overall, this is one of the best Middle Eastern meals I’ve had in London. Authentic flavours, generous portions, a great atmosphere, and a team that really knows how to make guests feel welcome. I’ll definitely be returning.”

“I didn’t notice there was such a good, authentic chinese restaurant at elephant and castle. it easily became one of my favourites, with actual high quality chinese food. it was so good we couldn’t help but order more despite being so full!! the wonton soup is a must try (you could request for noodles with it). the salt baked french beans was new to me but so delicious and refreshing. the shrimp in kung po sauce was amazing (and authentic too). the crab fried rice was my favourite tho, the dryness of the dish was just right. finally they gave us desserts on the house, the chocolate cake was really good, not too spongey nor too sweet.”

“1st time and it was a lovely pub near the Rugby (and I could park my motorcycle in the street). The young staff were welcoming, even when I asked if I could have 3 pints of Naked Ladies, if I wasn't being wound up by my buddies who drink there regularly for rugby. BTW they have Erdinger in bottles, including alcohol free so I could enjoy a beer.”

“What a lovely hotel in such a great location, everywhere was easy to walk to, lots of things to see and do in the area and easily accessible. Check in was extremely friendly and all the staff were very attentive. We had a few drinks in the bay where the staff were also very attentive and helpful. Rooms were a nice size with everything we needed…. Except a kettle and tea making equipment or so we thought… partner found it in a drawer just before we left! We had even gone for an early morning walk just to get a cuppa and presumed the hotel had gone down the American route if just providing coffee…. Just a suggestion but it would have been helpful to have been told about the location of tea making equipment or a sign somewhere in the room. Likewise I didn’t find the mirror until we left either! Other than this it was great, a lovely comfy bed with very nice bedlinen. Nice toiletries in the bathroom and it was nice to have a separate bath and shower. Would definitely stay again”

“I had a great stay at the Premier Inn Hub in Farringdon. The location is excellent — just a short walk from Farringdon Station and surrounded by great cafés, restaurants, and bars. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very well-designed for a city stay. The room was compact (as expected), but incredibly efficient, with everything I needed: a comfortable bed, smart controls for lighting and temperature, and good soundproofing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth. Would definitely stay again — perfect for solo travelers or couples looking for a clean, affordable, and central London base.”

“We just used this hotel for one night to see a show. Location was brilliant - a minute from Carnaby Street and Soho. Check in was hassle free, and the room was perfect. Not huge, but there was a classic Premier Inn bed, great shower, and everything you needed for your stay. The room was spotless! Service was excellent. We needed a couple of extra pillows that were provided without fuss. All in all, a nice place for a short stay!”

“If you’re looking for a central spot that’s close to all the go to tourist attractions (buckingham palace, Westminster abbey, etc) this is it! Hotel is clean and beautiful with a great staff and all your standard Marriott amenities with a nice little upgrade. And the view was absolutely unbeatable. They have a full roundabout drop off area which is really great for cab pick up and drop offs, a rarity in the city. We had afternoon tea at the Library which absolutely lived up to its reputation of beautiful views and great tea service. Kings cross was even a quick cab ride away. Overall 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient, and elevated stay in the heart of London.”

“It was my 1st time staying at Nobu Hotel, and definitely not last. The experience was absolutely out of this world. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable. And the customer service, absolutely incredible. Staff is always very helpful and friendly, I had the pleasure of meeting Erel and Dafy at the front desk. They made sure that everything was taken care of for me and they did it with a big smile. For me it was the best customer service ever. Overall it has been an amazing stay (it's a shame it was one night only) and I would reccomend it to anyone.”

The spa was a lovely touch and the breakfast was really nice with good selection I should have stayed for longer!!.
