“A spacious, well designed and immaculately finished Victorian house with a large kitchen and beautiful garden. Very well situated near the charming, tucked away pubs, bars and restaurants of Forest Gate, a stone's throw from Wanstead Flats, and a short walk to easy transport into central London. Host Tamara is absolutely fantastic. A definite 5 out of 5 experience.”

“Went for a birthday breakfast at the Royal Lancaster hotel, I had the breakfast buffet and was very happy with everything, the service was great, the breakfast options were plenty, with sweet and savoury there was something for everyone, please note if you’re Muslim you’ll have to request halal sausages from the kitchen as the ones out aren’t halal but glad there’s an option for that. The French toast was also amazing. Marcelina, Mounir and Ayska were lovely and very attentive throughout our breakfast, thank you again.”

“We had an amazing time at The Landmark. Everything was perfect! The location is unbeatable with the Marylebone station right outside the back of the hotel. They even have roofed pathway from the hotel exit to the station entrance! The room was immaculate: spacious, luxurious, comfortable and was really well kept and cleaned as they offer turn down service in the evening too. The champagne bar and The mirror bar offered great cocktails and drinks. The ambience was out of this World. The interior of the lobby and bars were so elegant it was like inside a palace. The staff were friendly, helpful and very kind. This was without doubt the best hotel we had ever stayed at. Will definitely stay here every time we are in London. Bravo!”

“Stumbled upon London’s Roman Amphitheatre beneath the Guildhall Art Gallery, and it’s amazing from the entrance! This 2nd-century ruin, discovered in 1988, is a hidden gem showcasing the City’s ancient roots”

“For London Open House and Wandle Fortnight, this is open for free. Dates remaining are Sundays 17th and 24th September. When I visited there was a free tour of the grounds and Hermitage. Incredible green space, you wouldn't believe you weren't somewhere in the countryside!”

“I had a great stay at the Premier Inn Hub in Farringdon. The location is excellent — just a short walk from Farringdon Station and surrounded by great cafés, restaurants, and bars. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very well-designed for a city stay. The room was compact (as expected), but incredibly efficient, with everything I needed: a comfortable bed, smart controls for lighting and temperature, and good soundproofing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth. Would definitely stay again — perfect for solo travelers or couples looking for a clean, affordable, and central London base.”

“St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London I would love to share my experience as a wedding photographer, having photographed the wedding of two brides at this beautiful London venue. There is absolutely no doubt that this place is visually stunning, offering endless opportunities for photographs. The interiors are truly breathtaking. If the grand exterior impresses you, just wait until you see inside. The staircase is particularly spectacular. As a wedding photographer, I also had the pleasure of working with the venue’s Wedding Events Manager, the wonderful Lauren Franey. I first met her during a pre-wedding recce visit, and her warmth and professionalism made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The location is excellent — very well connected to the city centre by public transport, yet tucked away in a quiet and pleasant area. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was simple, but everything was fresh and well prepared each morning. “Spacious and excellent food. Most pubs we checked out in the area are small but this place is spacious and had good seating spots. We tried their fish appetizers, sausages, and flat iron steak with peppercorn sauce. All were to our liking. Definitely recommend especially if you are new to the area. Good for family and groups. “Hotel was great from the staff to the room cleanliness. My hubby is a diamond member and we got upgraded to a queen premium corner room which had a pretty view. It was my birthday and they had a lovely note written for me on the desk. There was also a piece of cake as well! However, the location didn’t seem that convenient for tube access. Most of the places we wanted to go had us always using the Westminster station which was 17-20 minutes away from the hotel. Pimlico station is about 10 min away but it was never an option when we looked up directions. Maybe I’m just used to the NYC subway system where there seems to be entrances everywhere. Side note: This has nothing to do with the hotel, but we were walking back from dinner the first night, maybe 2-3 or so blocks away from the hotel, when some (insert explicit word here) on an e-bike came up from behind and snatched my husbands phone right out of his hand! So even though it is a nice quiet area, please be careful!”

“We came on a business trip and stayed 18-21 July 2025. We were immediately welcomed by Monica who was very helpful and pleasant. We stayed in a beautiful premium room that came with welcome surprise. Also purchased the meal deal and enjoyed good food and great service at the Willow Farm Table Table Restaurant. All in all a great experience in Rainham. Highly recommended and we plan to come again soon.”
