“Visited Lakeside with the hope of finding an outfit for my sons wedding. First shop I went into and what a delightful experience it was. From the moment I walked in Jayne was so helpful and I came away completely fitted out and extremely happy. They even packed it up and sent it to my daughter as we were on the way home to Spain and didn't have room in our luggage. Couldn't recommend them enough.”

“First time trying the classic and the blimey burgers, both tasted amazing, burgers were soft and full of flavour, sauces in the burgers were great, especially the blimey sauce, one of the best burger takeaways around. I will come back again.”

“I really like meat balls and mashed potatoes here. Delicious and cheap. Deserts are good. But less meal selections. Good place to have lunch during the ikea shopping. Heavily crowded, but you will find a place to sit as there is enough space.”

“My husband and I needed a quick breakfast near kings cross station, Google brought us here. It was a perfect last breakfast in the UK. Pancakes were amazing and “The Number 2” was just what we wanted! Service was super friendly and quick, coffees were tasty. Great experience overall.”

“My wife bought 2 pizzas couple of days ago.She just explained where exactly is the place and today I go and get 2 large pizzas. About the service: Very kind,helpful and smile people are working there. About the pizza:This is proper Italian style pizza,not like PizzaHut,Domino or other American style pizza what if you not get ketchup the taste is proper rubbish. They using proper products and they know how to make you Italian Pizza! Always freshly cooked! Forgot to make a picture,anyway we eat them all. Definitely will back to them soon. They also are lovely people. Everything there is looking clean and tidy. I’m so happy we found this Thank you so much,will see you very soon :)”

“Even though you get a little less these days with the noodles and especially when you choose the same item twice in your deal its still really good tasting food. The no beef teriyaki and the little chicken chunks were really good and tasty. Always really nice. Just needed to remember to ask if customer has the app rather than being distracted trying to call someone you want from across the room. Apart from that always good service and helpful with advice and knowledge when ordering.”

“You can’t go wrong with IKEA! Also really great to just arrive there and have a ridiculously cheap breakfast before you walk around. I think it’s an absolutely wonderful idea and I hope they keep doing it for a long time. The place wasn’t too busy, even though it was a Sunday, and the checkouts were fast. It’s always an easy place to get around, and you always seem to find exactly what you want to fill in those little spots in the house.”

“Chiktopia is a good place to sit in, fresh decor, bench style tables.I enjoyed the vanilla milkshake compared to other places. The skinny fries tasted full of flavour and not bland. The chicken burger was actually delicious as well! There are also self-service machines where you can order your food items for dine-in and or takeaway. Scan the table placard and put it on your table. Service was pretty quick, polite staff. Good job for your first opening at Lakeside!”

“Came on a Tuesday evening and it was a really nice atmosphere, not overly busy and very quick service. The staff were extremely quick to correct my order when I forgot to mentioned removing a sauce that I didn't like, they were very quick to bring out a new burger and made me feel like it wasn't a bother for them even though I felt so bad! We will definitely be back!”

“Headed here after visiting the waterpark on the lake at Lakeside. Beautiful looking restaurant & lovely, helpful staff. Nice food options!! I do not agree with the service charge however £11 for us! Although the staff were superb I think £11 is steep. I do however recommend the place. I do hope the staff actually get the £11 and not the fat cats at the top.”

“We had the best Nandos we’ve ever had here, we’re from up north and have traveled quite a lot so we’ve been to many Nando’s!. It was so hot I had to blow my food before eating! Really impressed and made our weekend. We did have to que to get in as there’s not a lot of space.”

“I recently visited German Doner Kebab Intu Lakeside and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming in special Milon was an amazing person and went above and beyond to make sure my meal was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The restaurant itself was clean and had a great atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a quick bite. I highly recommend German Doner Kebab to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience - you won't be disappointed”

“I don't like to give fast food restaurants a very high mark normally, but I came here at lunchtime, got served quickly, food was freshly cooked, hot and tasty.....better than most burger kings.... ...a few of the people serving looked a little sad...I hope they are feeling loved and appreciated in their job!!....a happy workforce is a productive workforce!!”

“Tried for the first time tonight and have to say both pizzas were excellent! I love trying various pizza outlets and it’s pretty much my favourite food. This is up there with some of the best! Base light and crispy, cooked to perfection and fresh toppings with not to much! Brilliant job lads! Best pizza place in grays”

“My wife is disabled, so we booked the wheelchair seats at top of cinema 6. The staff were most helpful assisting us in the lift and making sure the toilet was unlocked. The cinema seating arrangement was superb, clean and very comfortable. A member of staff then helped us back to the lift. Congratulations to staff members and a big thank you to them, sorry I didn’t get their names. A very pleasant experience and a good film.”

“Lovely spot to drink (alcohol or otherwise) and eat Italian style in the centre of Lakeside shopping centre. Excellent breakfasts, set lunches and other meals, including antipasti, and desserts. Italian beers and a full range of cocktails and spirits.”

“We were had breakfast there today,(also eveing meals) the food was lovely, loved the porridge. The 2 ladies Beverly and Anita were very friendly and chatty felt comfortable and relaxed. The dinning area was clean and very well looked after We would highly recommend. Thank you it made our 2 day break go really great.”
