“Firstly, I'll start by admitting that I'm am a fairly fussy customer. I've used most of the barbers in the local area over the years and can honestly say that Male Designs is hands down the best I've experienced. They keep up to date with the latest styles so my son is always well looked after. They also have loads of experience with the classics. The team are friendly, accommodating and just generally good people. They are happy to give advice and suggestions on products and styles which might work for you without trying to push expensive products upon you. My dad used Male Designs for years and when he was no longer able to get there unaided we stopped by with his wheelchair (we hadn't even booked ahead). The team rearranged the shop and moved one of the big chairs out of the way to allow him access with his wheelchair. They all took the time to speak/laugh and joke with him like they always had, I could see how much that meant to him. Also the best beard barber I've ever visited. If you're looking for a barber, this is the best in the area. Thank you, keep up the great work.”

Thought was the end for my car but SAS were great, identified the problem and had it fixed at a reasonable cost. “Bought 6 ember tetras here about a month ago. Despite it being nearly closing time, the staff were ever so helpful and friendly. They also showed genuine care for the fishes - they ensured that I had a fully matured fish tank of reasonable size and setting. They also gave me recommendations on where I could get good Indian Almond Leaves to manage the pH. I also saw them reject an inexperienced customer who wanted to keep fishes in a fish bowl (the fish will likely suffer), and for that, I highly respect them. The ember tetras are doing well - sorry for the algae-stained glass in the very bad picture!”

“Possibly the best affordable themed pool in England, almost waterpark size minus the high price. The water temperature was perfectly warm, there were 2 hot tubs and plenty of rides, of which 3 were long. The decor was artistic, featuring model fishes and some rocky landscaping between things. Also there was a wave machine and enough space to swim laps in the 1.5 metres end.”

“Rooms were great. No one on Reception a couple of times when we needed help, key card wouldn't let one of us access our room. Quickly resolved when receptionist appeared. Beefeater next door - we had poor service one evening, very slow service by a sullen, unfriendly even rude waitress. Everyone else was friendly, we were just unlucky. We had a show to get to, we did it by skin of our teeth despite having 1 hour 20 minutes to eat. Had to fetch our own menus at one point to try and hurry things up a bit. Food was good just let down by our waitress.”

“Stayed here on business and I noticed straight away was the staff were so attentive and very welcoming. Really nice after a long day travelling! Very relaxing bar area lined in tall glass windows with a very creative bookcase. I didn’t eat there but the restaurant did look good. My room was lovely and comfortable. Clean for sure with a bath and shower which was welcome. Definitely somewhere I would stay again not just for the hotel but also the convenience of being able to walk and eat at very close by places.”

“Hi just wanted to say thanks to Zak at the Guildford branch today. We had an issue with a tap purchased via the Farnborough branch in early 2022. A replacement tap under warranty was needed quickly. Zak liaised with the other Howdens branch to ensure this happened. Excellent customer service.”

Within one hour we had secured a really good deal, and within 2 weeks we were able to collect our car. On collection day, the receptionist showed us to the comfortable seating area and encouraged us to use the coffee/tea machine whilst we waited. Jethin took the time to show us the set up in the car and patiently answered our questions. His communication throughout was excellent and would highly recommend visiting him and the showroom.”
