“It was fantastic meal with great taste and quality Would recommend to anyone looking for nice food”
“Have been eating here and getting takeaways for about 5 years. Always quick, always friendly helpful staff. Cooked freshly and some of the most delicious curries in Manchester or anywhere else. Consistently great. 5-Stars! *****”
“First time ordering and will never order from them again, 30 pound on food for it to take 2 hours to come I live not even 5 minutes away the food was stone cold and when I asked for a refund he blatantly told me they are now closed & to come back Tomorrow for fresh food!!!! And what looks to be some sort of mould on the packaging!!!”
“Having used these frequently since they joined Just Eat, we used them for a family boxing day meal. Called ahead so as to be able to collect the meal, was just over £116.00. Nothing was forgotten, it was an excellent and easy transition. Got it home, everyone really liked it. Thank you guys.”

“Amazing Chinese store with a huge variety of halal options from across Asia. You can find products from many different Asian countries all in one place. The selection is impressive and hard to find elsewhere. Highly recommended — the experience really reminded me of Hong Kong with its diversity, flavours, and vibrant atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“There is a good selection of starters, mains, sides and desserts - every dish we have tried so far has been excellent. The service is also very good with the most friendly and welcoming staff !! The restaurant now has a dessert shop / selection at the top " sugar on top" , which is a great touch especially when you're craving something sweet after your meal.”
“The Indian food from The Pearl is spot on. Consistently great. Fair prices. Lovely staff. Garlic naans are outstanding. The Biryanis are delicious. Keep it up- love it!”
“The Imperial lounge is a beautiful place to eat exotic foods in a nice comfortable environment.”
“This place is absolutely amazing, the food is just simply stunning, proper authentic Indian cuisine, amazing value for money and fantastic staff, superb, definitely my favourite curry place in Manchester.. If you like curry dont hesitate you MUST try this place”
“Absolutely fantastic. Great food and great service. Good prices to. Give it a try. Highly recommend”
“Really impressed with this place. The staff were genuinely hospitable and professional – made us feel welcome and served us with a smile throughout. The food was spot on. Starters were great, especially the lamb chops, but my personal favourites were the fish pakora and naga wings – packed with flavour. Curries were classic British Indian restaurant style, just how I like it when eating out. What really stood out for me was the calm, cosy vibe. Even though it was nearly a full house, it didn’t feel chaotic or noisy like some buffet places. Staff managed the floor well and created a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.”
“Great Indian supermarket, fresh herbs, garlic, chilli ( lots of varietys) at about half the normal supermarket price. Lots and lots of dried beans , peas, lentils and other pulses , a very good range of ground spices and curry mixs in different size bags from about 250g upto 1kg A good range of jars of curry sauce / pastes . Huge bags of rice. A good range of oils A limited range of yoghurt, butter, cold drinks . Some kitchen equipment like sives, huge pans, tin openers. But the best thing is the staff , they are friendly and accommodating and can answer all sorts of questions regarding their stock , like how to cook things , what would go best with different sauces , how to prepare / store the fresh herbs and spices.”
“I ordered a chicken tikka in nan and it was so nice I would order again the chicken had flavor it was juicy the salad tasted fresh I would come back to longridge to order again”
“Best curry around food is always fresh and hot big portions”
“The food is incredibly tasty. All meat I've had from here has not had any fat on and is absolutely quality food. The portions are big, especially the Kebabs they are very filling with nice tender meat all through, no gaps in the bread. Sauces are flavourful and salad is always a nice combination amount, doesn't taste watery it's juicy. Food always taste fresh and delicious. The pricing is excellent and very generous for the quality of the amazing food. The portions are impressive and will hit the spot. Overall I would recommend this food to anyone and definitely one of the best tasting takeouts I've had. The service is top notch, the service is very polite and respectful. I don't have any complaints. It is very tidy and clean. You can tell preparation for each meal they make it catered to with detail as you can see the kitchen in the back were all is prepared.. They cooks are also very respectful, tidy and amazing at making the food taste delicious!!! Treat others with respect and you shall receive it back. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my food. The food has always been hot and wrapped well and given with kindness. Thank you!”
“Food has always been perfect. Been ordering here for 9 years now and it’s been exceptional every time. Naan bread is brilliant as all other curry houses in the area are tiny and dry. Staff also very caring and great chef on the open kitchen”
“First time ordering and will happily order again. Delicious food. Best I've had in a while. Huge portion sizes too. Let's just say I have enough left over to feed me tomorrow. I called the restaurant to check on order as had a feeling it may be late. Such friendly staff. Driver was polite and such a nice guy. Highly recommended”
“Switched to buying from Indian Spice a few months ago and the food is always nothing but perfect! Always arrives hot and fresh and I am never disappointed with my food, plus the staff and delivery driver are always lovely :) 10/10!”
“One of the best or rather the best Indian restaurants in Manchester! I thoroughly loved this place. The moment you step in, it feels like entering a crowded market. Everyone out there is excitedly talking and busy with their food. The best part is, if someone celebrates their birthday, the entire restaurant erupts into a celebration mode and sings for the person. That was very special and unique in this place. The staff are courteous and helpful. I'm usually not a fan of butter chicken, but the butter chicken in this place was lips smacking! It was spicy, creamy and exactly the way I love it. Keep up the amazing work! I wish you guys would open a branch in India as well.”
“Been here a few times over the years but first visit since 2020. A very traditional restaurant that has had a much needed make over; including finally updating the toilets. Draught Cobra is always welcome. They currently offer half price food from 5 pm to 6.30pm Monday to Thursday. Jorvic really enjoyed the food. All the classic dishes. Had very fresh poppadums with a generous pickle tray. Tasty lamb tikka and chilli chicken. Two good mains with one pilau rice and one naan. This food plus 4 pints less than £50. Food much improved from last visit. Will be back. They also do a good trade in take away, the phone constantly rings.”
“A very good place to spend time with kids and family, nice atmoshphere, clean and tidy place, food is good, freshly made And a very good place for kids birthday parties”
“Desi Style Takeaway in Manchester is an absolute gem for anyone craving real Desi comfort food. The flavours are spot-on — rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the freshness in every dish. Their biryani is one of the best in town — full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The grilled items, especially the seekh kebabs and chicken tikka, are juicy and full of that smoky, traditional taste. The naan is always fresh and soft, just the way it should be. Service is quick and friendly, and the portions are generous for the price. It’s clear the team takes pride in serving proper Desi-style food, not watered-down versions. If you’re in Manchester and craving authentic Desi takeaway, this place should be at the top of your list!”
“Bought a pizza today and was the best i have had also a special mix shashlik bigger than i was expecting Over all great service including the lads who took my order”
“I’ve been here many times since my childhood, a lot of times with my father who would always bring us here. The food is really great, I would recommend trying different options every time you visit. Absolutely in love with their naan bread.”
“Have had a couple of meals cooked by Puja at Indian Tarka and they were both delicious. Well organised to deal with social distancing for ordering, payment and collection. Keep up the good work Puja!”
“Had always drop by to take away delicious Foul Medames, cooked hot soaked in olive oil and served with soft breads. The taste is almost similar to the "Kacang Pool" from Malaysia, but 100x more delicious. At first quite difficult to communicate, seems the lady had limited English, but this help gave the feeling the authenticity of the food, hahaha.”
