“I walked in today with my husband and 2yr old daughter intending to purchase a pair of sandals for myself. The sales assistant was friendly and chatty as she informed us of the latest deals and trends on offer. We ended up getting not only the sandals we came for but two pairs of shoes for my daughter too as the selection was so impressive. In fact I had to stop myself buying more! There was a good variety of affordable shoes as well as some slightly pricier brand names, as well as a selection of different bags. We will definitely be returning.”

“I popped in yesterday to return & exchange shoes I bought online. The assistant manager who served me was amazing. She helped me sort out one pair by fitting a liner and also choosing the correct size for another pair. This is a great example of why, the hybrid model of buying online and still being able to go in-store works so well - especially for items like shoes. Keep it up Clarks - you have set yourselves up for success in the future!”

“I rarely leave reviews but the customer service at Schu, Rushden Lakes is exceptional. From our point at entry (on a super busy Saturday), we were attended to almost immediately by a friendly staff member who measured all three of my children for school shoes. Another lovely staff member went on to supply us with no less than 5 different pairs for selection, and thoroughly checked the fit too. We left the store only to return about an hour later when a third member of staff processed the sale. Every single person was so incredibly friendly , welcoming and attentive. Customer service levels you’ll rarely find elsewhere… absolute breath of fresh air! Thank you!”

“I was served yesterday by a young black lad maybe still in his teens . I didn’t get his name however I just have to say , it todays shopping trips very rarely do you get such excellent service , he was both knowledgeable on what young kids like , but polite and obviously well used to working with people. I was so impressed I wanted to at least tell his manager but she wasn’t available. I’m not sure this will ever get to him . But Thank you young man for loving your job and giving an older gentleman the service we only hope we can get nowadays. Well done .5 star service.”

“We went to Ann Marie’s to find an outfit for my mum for my brother’s wedding after recommendation by a friend. My mum had a one to one appointment and it was a really lovely experience. She felt very relaxed and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The range of outfits is fantastic, there is so much choice and everything is stylish and high quality. My mum found a beautiful dress with a hat, however, they didn’t have the matching hat in stock at the time. Ann Marie then contacted my mum a couple of weeks later to say the matching hat had come into stock; my mum was delighted and we went back to pick it up. The ladies were so friendly and efficient, and it was so nice that they contacted my mum afterwards to let her know about the matching hat. Wonderful personal service. 100% recommend this lovely shop!”

“Brilliant experience, i bought two suits today the manager was proactive, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Within 20 minutes we picked the right sizes lovely suits with a little deal. And to top it off another worker there helped me carry the buggy down the stairs. For me it shows that online shopping will never compare people need to keep using these stores through difficult times keep them open”

“review a shoe company ????? i gotta do it l but what can i say well the boots i bought were not the cheapest but they were exactly as i ordered they are superbly made ( i used to work for Brittons in Bristol sio i do have a bit of knowledge about the shoe trade exactly as ordered made on a proper UK last so have a wide fitting leather is blemish free and they have proper steel heels and leather soles i look forward to wearing them for many years to come and as they are made proper like as we says down here i can get them re soled delivery was prompt and free and as for value well i feel you get what you pay for the similar iIalian items were twice the price and half the quality so all in all a real good buy”

Louise is the meaning of old school service with a thoroughly modern edge.
