“5 Stars I had an amazing experience at St. Crisps Fish and Chips! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside—absolutely delicious. The chips were golden, thick-cut, and just the right amount of salty. You can tell everything is cooked fresh to order. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick, even during a busy time. The place was clean and had a cozy, traditional vibe. Definitely one of the best chippies I’ve been to—highly recommend if you’re in the area!”

“I'm so pleased this place turned up on my Facebook feed. We decided to go tonight for dinner and we certainly didn't regret it. It's only a short drive from our house, a fifteen minute drive into the countryside is always nice. Lovely looking pub which was quite full in the bar, a good atmosphere. We were served our drinks by a very friendly lady and then we took our seats in the restaurant area. Served again by a very friendly and helpful young lady. We didn't wait long for our starters, which were presented and tasted fantastic. Our mains were just the same. Hardly any wait at all and the presentation was great. Everything was cooked very very well indeed, the portion sizes were generous but not over bearing and the tastes were sensational. We'll definitely be returning, the whole experience was exemplary. “This was my second visit to the Navigation Inn and as I don’t live local to it we made a special journey. A very lively setting right on the canal. Went for Sunday lunch, the place was packed and weather was wonderful Staff very friendly and attentive. Food served quickly and efficiently, I had lovely veggie roast, crispy roast potatoes, roasted carrots and green beans. Veg not over cooked and all piping hot. This was topped by a huge Yorkshire pudding, perfectly cooked. Holly was lovely and really attentive and made our visit pleasant once again.Looking forward to visiting next time!”

“Had breakfast at Bill’s and it was fantastic! I had the shakshuka, honestly the best I’ve ever had. Really warming, perfectly spiced, and so full of flavour. The flatbread on the side was amazing too. My husband ordered a side of hash browns, and the portion was huge! Lovely people serving us as well, such a friendly atmosphere and a great start to our day. Highly recommend!”

“My 8 year old daughter wanted to come here after previously having a coconut drink from a pop up stand. She went for the tropical drink,the gentleman was very helpful, as soon as she tried this drink she said "Wow! I give this a 10/10,best drink ever" she was very impressed and can't wait to come back. “Brilliant pub and next to high street Jonny and Trish are friendly and welcoming live tv sports with darts and jukebox toilets are ok 2nd time visiting today and alot quieter than it was on carnival played darts and put 13 bangers on the jukebox I also watched England here last time I was here such a lovley atmosphere”

“Hands down this is the best vegan Chinese food I’ve ever had. So many options it’s unreal! The salt & chilli chips are a top recommendation btw. They offer chow mein, rice dishes and plenty of main dishes. You can have a lot of regular dishes with vegan substitutes. When ordering, they always say it will take longer because it’s vegan and everything is cooked in separate pans to the non vegan food…this is music to my ears! Overall I’m extremely impressed with their approach to vegan cuisine and further more the food tastes amazing. 10/10 highly recommended.”

“This is my choice shop for takeaway. They always provide a generous portion of fish and chips with a nice coating of crispy batter on the fish. All very tasty. Helpful staff, decent prices and the dog enjoys the chips as a treat too!”

“What a great little place! We stayed for a night whilst visiting Santa Pod. On arrival, Bobby came to meet us, showed us where we were staying, and gave us our keys. There were a couple of rooms accessed from the side of the establishment via a locked door, which you were provided a key for along with your room key. Once inside, there was a communal area with iron and board, Bobby's contact details should we need them and the WiFi info. From here, there was access to a shared kitchen we could make use of, which was very clean. It had all the amenities you could want. Then there were also the entrances to the rooms. Our room was brilliant, with what looked like a queen size bed. Which was amazing! It was decorated very tastefully and impeccably tidy throughout. The ensuite was exceedingly clean. We had our evening meal at the Spice Tree, Indian Restaurant, which shared the premises. The food was so delicious, and the staff were lovely and friendly. All in all, a great stay which I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thanks Bobby!”
