“Attentive staff, food was good, atmosphere was great too - I cant wait for them to have live entertainment as I'd return to enjoy that. Staff were knowledgable about the menu. The flavour if the 1/2 chicken was lovely. The coleslaw felt expensive for a small portion (half a cup) that didnt really offer much more (flavour and quality) than a standard/homemade coleslaw. Otherwise, food was perfect. Covid measures - everything was regularly cleaned, there were perspex divides between us and the next table plus outside seating available. Face masks worn by all staff and customers when moving around.”

“Beautiful, satisfying and delicious comfort food and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? The service is efficient but not pushy. The prices are on the higher side but well worth it and no more expensive than the average prices anyway. There are choices for veggies too. I took the mushroom gnocchi with red pesto and cream sauce topped with parmesan and it was gorgeous.”

“We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”

“Booked the Walnut for a wake. I have no hesitation in recommending the Walnut for a family event. Staff were happy to show us round ahead of time so that we could view the rooms we'd be using. Good food. Excellent service. And of course it's less than 10 minutes drive from the Milton crematorium.”

“There was only our party present, however, it is nicely decorated and you could imagine a buzz if others were present. The food was well presented and the Server ensured the 3 year old had activities to amuse her as well as food so she was not waiting for us to finish the 1st course. We chose meals we would not necessarily cook at home. 6 Oysters,slipped down well followed by a 10oz skirt steak for me with a red wine and marrow jus; ideal for dunking the chunky crispy chips. My son had the Octopus with Chorizo and risotto. A beautiful dish. The 3 year old had home made chicken gougeons with skin on Fries and beans followed by a raspberry ice cream topped with fresh and freeze dried fruit and jus. Delightful. I tested the Server to make an Irish coffee which he mastered and helped to make my experience complete.”

“Three of us came for a friend's birthday. It was our first meal here. Gentleman at the bar friendly, and also helpful with meal ingredients. Lady who served us very pleasant and helpful. Fish, scampi and Mediterranean tart for the 3 main meals, all beautifully cooked and presented. Homemade bread and butter pudding with custard was wonderful. Thank you for a lovely evening.”

“This Indian restaurant is great! Open until late, food is DELICIOUS and just as spicy as you wish it was. The Gentlemen working there were extremely professional. Price is incredibly low for the quality of service. Not the best red wine I tried but you probably shouldn't be drinking it with Indian food. Also so many different dishes available. Top level! “Didn't eat there. Had a daytime Disco. Absolutely brilliant. Great for hens, girls out and moms who can't get out at nights... Danced for 4 hours ! Everyone was so friendly and all having fun and singing their lungs out. Parked across the road.”

“Such a lovely stay in this hotel cannot fault it at all. Room was perfect we had booked a standard double and it seemed so much more than that, unsure if we were upgraded but seemed very spacious for a standard. Free standing bath was amazing, had double sinks and a spacious shower too. The spa was lovely it was peaceful and relaxing, staff were very welcoming and polite, had 2 coffees in there which were lovely. Made use of all spa facilities which were in good condition, not overcrowded at all which was nice. Provided robes, slippers and towels in the locker you are given. The hotel was clean and looked so lovely, we had breakfast in the morning which is great value for what you can get, I made good use of the hot drinks machine. Overall amazing hotel, friendly staff, would definitely recommend. Thank you.”

“Was once here with my daughter, thought this time we would go out with my other half. We booked for 1 pm for Sunday lunch.It was in full swing on both floors and people queuing at the door. Only waited about 5 minutes for our table. As you can see, we ordered quite a lot but it was just too tasty. The staff were very polite and accommodating. Definitely will be back very soon.”

“First time trying food here for lunch - it was so good!! Had the tuna/ cheese melt panini and thick chips and my husband had the vegetarian pizza - both were really good! Lots of tuna in the melt and the chips were smothered in cheese! Would definitely recommend!!!”

“Great lunch. Arrived just as they opened and orderes small plates. Food came fast and hot. Excellent fish cake and calamari. Chorizo was not at all spicy with pleasing flavour. Good BBQ wings and honey whipped feta was great. No pic of the fiash because we ate it before I thought to take a photo. Great lunch sitting outside in the September sunshine”

“Had our first takeaway meal from Ashiana and it was wonderful. Chicken massala, Lamb vindaloo rice's and sides worth both tender , nicely spiced and you don't feel over full afterwards. Excellent menu via there own app and all done in half an hour... marvellous ***** :)”
