βI arrived late at night at Milton Keynes Coach Station. Landlord gave me clear instructions on how to access property. Worth noting that there is no elevator in the property. That said the property has only three floors including ground floor. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast not provided but there is a common area downstairs with a kitchen.β
βI had a great stay at the Northampton Bedford Road Premier Inn on the A428. The receptionist team was incredibly welcoming and made check-in smooth and friendly. A special mention to Fridah, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, excellent service from start to finish. Thank you! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.β
βFinedon Lodge is very slick love the atmosphere, it's nice a chilled out for a few drinks the customers and locals are great to talk to! Definitely recommend going or staying they also have a spar outsideβ
βCame here to attend Panto at the Durngate. location is very convenient for town centre. Rooms pleasant although outlook at back a bit depressing. Nice big Telly, Really Comfy Beds, Close to Lift. Felt homely. Breakfast was good with a varied selection of cooked and continental. As always I preder Fried Eggs but only sctambled available. Mushrooms and Tomatoes very tasty. Even had Pancakes and Maple Syrup but these should be kept warmed. All in all, a very nice stay and good valueβ
βThank you for a great stay! Welcoming and warm B&B Rooms and facilities were great Friendly staff Lots of local amenities - shops, restaurants etcβ
βWe stayed here for around a month between house moves. All of the receptionists we encountered were super helpful. We even went back after five weeks to enquire about a lost item and they produced it immediately from their lost property box. Really super people.β
βAmazing place for a staycation.β
βThis is a what I would call a fairly basic hotel, it was very clean & quite comfortable & had everything we needed for our over night stay. There is a but which is huge for me the receptionist, Lisa who made our stay 5 star. She was absolutely lovely & so helpful. I asked for help with the fan in our room which didn't seem to work & she replaced it immediately, carrying it to our room. I was made to feel very special by Lisa as she helped in so many little ways, nothing was too much trouble. What a breathe of fresh air & super to find there are still people who go that extra mile for others. Lisa deserves a raise.β
βWas very nice staff where fantastic and full English breakfast in the morning 10/10 and is dog friendly hotel Ideal if you want to break your journey up..like we did ...β
βFabulous for the money! Family room for 4 people for two nights, Β£112, works out at Β£14 PP per night. Rooms were clean, nice towels, fresh clean bedding, comfy beds, shower and a bath. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again. Check out time was 12 noon most places are 10/ 11 am. Free parking!β
βGreat relaxed night with live music. Food was available. The setting is a traditional pub with garden. The atmosphere is relaxed, drinks and food were very reasonably priced ..the music was exceptional.. I can't wait to revisit this placeβ
βSurprisingly fantastic. Had a room on the top floor and the room itself was much bigger than I was expecting. Only two plus in the whole room, but I just unplugged the kettle so I could plug in both my phone and laptop chargers. Very clean, plenty of pillows and towels, all the basics and bare essentials covered. Very happy!β
βThe Lodge is on the A1. A bit fussy to get to if you're heading North. But it's not difficult with Google maps. The hotel has only the basic provisions. But the staff are nice, the place is clean. Good parking and an independent and friendly restaurant just across the bar park. They do a great Full English. Other than that, there is a help yourself cereal, yogurt and toast provision by reception in the morning. But at the price we paid, we can't complain. Also, there is a disabled room, but we were told it needs to be booked well in advance. Also, free WiFi.β

βA fantastic stay at Homefield Grange. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive. The spa facilities are immaculate and truly luxurious. The therapists are skilled and professional. Great classes and early morning walks. My room was beautifully decorated with a great shower and a very comfy bed! The food was healthy, fresh, and beautifully presented and the two chefs are fantastic - really enjoyed the demonstrations which were so informative and inspiring. I came here to hopefully lose some weight but it has been so much more than that, I left feeling relaxed and refreshed - a real re-set. Highly recommended!β
βA perfect little hide away, so peaceful. The room was lovely and the view of the sheep from your bed in the morning. Great breakfast selection. Lovely little touches from the host Sam, including home made welcome cookies. Will most definitely be back.β

βWe wouldn't trust anyone else with our Feline Family. Carol and Emily are extremely professional and we are so lucky to have them so close. The grooming side of the business is a Godsend, particularly as we have semi longhaired cats.β
βWe have just returned from a fabulous family weekend stay at Weasels Way. This was our third trip to Tove Valley Cottages and it as usual it did not disappoint. The property was extremely clean and well maintained and we had all the amenities we needed. The open plan layout worked really well for 3 generations of the family and the play area was a massive hit with the youngsters. The weather was good enough to sit in the outside area which had plenty of seating for us all. A highlight was a trip to Stowe which was beautiful and recommended by the owner. We had excellent contact from Annie before and after our trip. Thank you and we look forward to another visit one day.β
βWe had a wonderful stay at the old chapel. This is an exceptional B&B. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lots of lovely extras including home made cake and an excellent plentiful breakfast. Communication was first class throughout with extremely friendly hosts. Would highly recommend and we look forward to returning. Anthony John Makin.β
βEnjoyed my short stay very much at the Poplars. Very quaint character property that retains much of its charm. Upper rooms would be tricky for anyone with limited mobility or lots of large luggage. Cooked breakfast was excellent, plenty of everything available. Room nice & clean and bed comfortable. Shower rather small so again tricky for anyone with limited mobility so would be good to check which room you are booking if that is your circumstance. They do have accesible rooms on the ground floor.β
βWe recently got married this summer at Huntsmill Farm and had an unforgettable weekend celebrating. The team were so attentive in the lead up to our big day. Our wedding coordinator Saskia was so helpful the day of and the day before the ceremony to help with any questions and setting up the venue. Having exclusive use of the cottages and venue for the whole weekend was perfect and just what we were looking for. Our guests commented on how beautiful the venue and grounds were and the relaxed, romantic setting was stunning. Thank you to the team for making our wedding so special - weβll never forget it!β
βMy husband and I stayed to visit Peterborough. What lovely bed and breakfast. In a picturesque village. The room was very warm and most welcoming. I was really suprised to find decaffeinated tea in the room. There was so much choice for breakfast it took me a while to choose, it was quickly served and certainly kept us full until the evening too. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We hope to visit again.β
βLovely location for a variety of differing sights and attractions. Unbelievelbly friendly and helpful host Mike and sue run a very clean friendly and very charming bed and breakfast nothing is too much trouble breakfast is lovely and it will tick all your boxes. Totally recommend this stay.β
βUnfortunately I would love to stay longer...flying visit short on time...lovely place...and highly recommended...great place as a home base if you are thinking a tour the area holiday or weekend break.β
βWe stayed in the Alpaca, Ranger and Hamlet (hamlet pictured below) safari tents for my sister's hen this past weekend and whilst the weather tried to put a dampener on affairs the accommodation was well equipped with everything we could need to celebrate and to keep warm with plenty of blankets, hot water bottles and the toastie log burners, the beds were comfy, shower piping hot. Honestly couldn't recommend enough, would just like to go back when it's abit warmer and dryer.β
βI booked Clover shepherd's hut for two nights accommodation for work. It is a magical space. The Red Lion being a few metres away is convenient for the evening meal. Wayne sourced some ground coffee and a French press for me as I'd forgotten mine. There was a small fridge in the room. The shower was roomy and has a rainfall as well as a shower head you can hold. I found the (ample) towels too smooth for my taste. Maybe they use fabric conditioner on them. It's personal preference though because my partner hates scratchy towels. The listed cobbles, nearby thatched houses make me want to return for a weekend wander. The shop behind the Red Lion is a community venture so only open limited hours. Wonderful that people care enough to ensure it's manned though. Having been working in the area since July I can confirm taxi drivers love Rugby. Clean, peaceful and quiet is what they unanimously say.β
βConverted stables on small family run farm. Well equipped. Clean. Great Wi-Fi. One bed cottage with sofa bed in lounge. Well equipped kitchen area. Good location with easy access to surrounding areas. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again. Booked direct with hosts as we stayed a month but also bookable online.β
βWe had a lovely trek & enjoyed getting to know the llamas.β
