“Nice, warm room. Massive bed! Lovely hostess, but we've been a few times before so are familiar with the layout, etc. Nice breakfasts, full English, cereals, fruit juice or whatever you choose within reason. Very accomodating and close to the town centre.”

“Lovely one night stay to go to a wedding at Dodford Manor- so glad we chose here instead of a characterless hotel! Lovely host and lovely little dog made us feel very welcome. The location is stunning and the room was beautifully presented and clean. We had a delicious home cooked breakfast delivered to us in the morning- the fruit compote was especially yummy. Would definitely recommend”

“We got married at Sywell Grange in May 2024 and I could not recommend the venue enough! The setting is so idyllic, surrounded by farmland but still in an accessible location. Andrew was on hand throughout the planning process, helping us with our suppliers and extremely flexible with our set up. The sunset was magical as the teepee can be set up to capture the perfect golden hour. Thank you Andrew and family for the best day ever :)”

“Flore House was the venue for our wedding reception, and I fell in love with it from the moment I first saw it. Everyone had a wonderful time and kept commenting how beautiful the space was. The intimacy of the venue made our day feel even more special, and the bedroom on the premises was such a gorgeous place to spend our first night as a married couple. Georgie was amazing and so helpful every step of the way. She went above and beyond to ensure we had the wedding day we'd always wanted. I hope we get to stay again on a future anniversary!”

“We had a lovely afternoon tea and I was really impressed from the minute I walked in. We received a fabulous greeting as though they'd known us for years and the service from that moment on was absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious and we were offered more sandwiches and top ups on the drinks throughout our visit. The whole area was decorated beautifully and the atmosphere was so friendly and fun. I can't recommend this enough and thank you for a lovely time.”

“We were between houses as we had sold and we're waiting on the next one when we found this gem. Wonderful location, surrounded with fields and very peaceful. There are plenty of places to walk, or eat/drink, a few minutes drive away, or you can walk across the fields to East Haddon. Ged and Wendy were lovely hosts, very helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend East Haddon Grange cottages.”

“Rooms are quiet and comfortable, and The Old Vicarage is conveniently located. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked, and very tasty. Hosts are very friendly and did offer an evening meal which can be made to order, but the room I stayed in had a little kitchen area which you could prepare food for yourself if needed.and there are several pubs close by where food is available. There's no TV in the rooms, but that didn't really bother me, I would definitely stay here again.”

“We’ve been to four other Featherdown sites and this one is the best. Great place for mountain bike rides along grassy bridleways. But also useful to have bikes to get from tent to farm shop/animals/charging point.”

“The hotel is close to the city centre and close to many amenities. The rooms are spacious and have everything you may need for a short or long stay. The service is outstanding, the staff is super nice and welcoming. The breakfast is complementary for sleeping guests, and it's really good both in quantity and quality. I stayed there two times and really enjoyed it, it will be my hotel of choice whenever I need to stay overnight in that area. Highly recommend! :)”

“I stayed here in mid August and I can highly recommend this location. I arrived here following an overnight flight from Texas. It was very hot in England and the rooms do not have air conditioning (which is very typical in England). The staff had though put a fan in the room and it was already running when I arrived. When you arrive, you handle the check in yourself and the process just works. They email you a combination code and your room number and you get access to the key. Painless and easy! I had dinner and breakfast in the Golf club lounge and the staff were friendly. A little short handed but super friendly. I recommend this location and I would stop here again. I only stayed one night.”

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always spot-on. A special mention to Irmina, who is always smiling and goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. She’s attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful — a real credit to the team and one of the reasons we keep coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a proper village pub”

“Had a nice stay here. The full English breakfast is to die for after you've spent years away from home. We had issues with the plug-hole stoppers, but the staff were very helpful and came to tap them loose for us. :) The staff in general were lovely. PS. Oh yeah, watch out for all the bunny rabbits if you're driving in late!”

“We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”

“Booked the Walnut for a wake. I have no hesitation in recommending the Walnut for a family event. Staff were happy to show us round ahead of time so that we could view the rooms we'd be using. Good food. Excellent service. And of course it's less than 10 minutes drive from the Milton crematorium.”
