“I felt I needed to make a review for this restaurant as we had read quite alot of bad reviews before going. Please don’t listen to those bad reviews! This place is lovely and offers amazing Chinese food! The restaurant is really nicely decorated, staff were very friendly. The food was all great and came out piping hot and very quickly. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been some background music. We really enjoyed our meal here. Thank you very much.”

“We took visiting family members to Thetford Raj on Sunday evening for the buffet, food was delicious, piping hot, good variety. Service was excellent, professional yet friendly. We noticed they won an award for best Indian restaurant in Norfolk & well deserved in my opinion! Congratulations, Thetford Raj! Highly recommend!”

“We heard about this restaurant from our friends who visited last year and we made a one-day trip to Norwich to try it. Yes - that's how passionate we Malaysians are when it comes to food. Aside from badminton, eating is our best favourite national sports. The food is flavorful and the ambience is lovely. We had Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang, Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah, and Pasembur. I also had the Teh Tarik which is served hot - just what I love. I believe the ingredients are locally sourced so it'd be unfair to compare with what my taste buds grew up with. This is good enough for me. It was a truly authentic experience for us overall as we arrived slightly after lunch hours and had the peace and quiet to savour our food at our own sweet time and it totally felt like eating and catching up at the mamak except in a less sweaty, less noisy, and more cozy environment. It felt like home.”

“Got to Ipswich quite late on a Sunday night but saw this restaurant was open until 10pm! Considering it was around 8pm there was still plenty of people sat in there eating which made a chance from seeing other places either closed or not having anyone dining in! Shared a pepperoni pizza and bacon, chicken & avocado salad which came out pretty quickly and were good portion sizes (the salad in particular- and it wasn’t just lettuce with token gesture amounts of other ingredients!). Our server was so nice and when I asked about the 50% discount Club Prezzo have on atm, he was helpful with telling me which barcode was needed etc. Which meant our total bill came to £27 instead of £54! *Club Prezzo members can get 50% off selected restaurants between now and 10th Oct 2025!!* After a long day on the road, this was a nice place to have a late evening meal!”

“We had a delightful experience at Bills one evening after the Fireworks display at Castle Park! We received exceptional service from the beginning, particularly from Mickey & Livio (or Livia, apologies for the incorrect spelling!). They were very friendly, & made us feel comfortable & at ease, although we did order from the set menu, with 2/3 course meals, & felt guilty for having the next course at around closing! Despite this, all staff members were happy enough for us to order dessert, & also gave us a free brownie for the consideration! We appreciated it so much & left feeling very happy, so thank you so much for the lovely experience & we’ll definitely be visiting again!”

“Went for breakfast club. Warm greeting. A good array of hot breakfast items ( and chef even cooked my bacon a bit extra as I like it crispier) . All hot. A nice continental selection toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, pastries and crumpets along with fruit juices, tea and coffee. Good value and delicious.”

“Me and the hubby always get our takeaway from here but tonight was the night we decided to be spontaneous and walk there instead. We were seated right away and what, polite, attentive and delightful staff who couldn't do enough for us to make us well fed and watered, kind enough to let us take leftovers as we were so full. “I used to come here on my 2 hour lunch breaks at Easton college back in 2010(ISH). Sink 2 pints in the bar to the right whilst waiting for our fresh cooked chips and sausages and the occasional pickled egg. Loved it. Came back recently out of nostalgia and the need for a decent chip shop. It was open! I'm pretty sure the gentleman and lady serving were the same that served me then, hadn't aged a day. I skipped back to my car with my food. Instant nostalgia, delicious chips. For 2025, this chippy is in my top 5 in Norfolk.”

“Our recent visit to Nando’s Norwich was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, vibrant, and had a great energy. We ordered a Veggie Burger meal and a Chicken Sandwich meal, both of which were fresh, flavourful, and cooked just right. The Veggie Burger had a great texture and was packed with taste, while the Chicken Sandwich was juicy and perfectly seasoned. We also had a 1/4 Chicken with fries — the chicken was tender, well-marinated, and full of the signature Nando’s flavour we love, and the fries were crisp and delicious. The food was served promptly, and everything was presented nicely. Portion sizes were generous and good value for the price. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I would highly recommend Nando’s Norwich to anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying meal in a welcoming setting. We will definitely be returning!”

“A exciting day for bowling turned into a afternoon of pain and tears! No ones fault but mine eek! Thank you to the two lovely ladies that ran to get me ice when I tripped and fell over my daughter in the bathroom. I thought I broke my ankle. They also tried to calm my daughters that were crying. Thank you to the two gentleman who also came to check on me. So sorry I didn't get any names. The bowling was fun and the revamp looks great too!”

“Visited today for a late Father's Day meal. Asked for the set menu, not a lot of choice but still good enough mixture, my food was good. Service was fantastic, fast, and friendly. Also, 2for1 on cocktails, so they went down a treat. Bottomless on the diet coke, so well worth the money.”

Can we especially mention Jake in the kitchen who took extraordinary care in the preparation of our dinner and breakfast. “I am Coeliac and my wife is an excellent cook and I'm happy to clean the kitchen and make drinks, so why should we go to Prezzo in Aldeburgh. Simply, beacuse they are the BEST restaurant in Aldeburgh for catering for Coeliacs. For a Coeliac it is the best when you can go to a restaurant and not feel the odd one out - the misfit in the party. Yesterday, went to Prezzo, and it was a great reminder of how good they are. they were very friendly and the food was tasty and excellent, and most of all, it was wonderful to have gluten-free Itlaian food. I would strongly recommend Prezo Italian Restaurant, Aldeburgh. In the winter you might be the only people in the restaurant - which is no bad thing in today's modern rude and dog filled restaurants. We have decided to make Prezzo a regular place to eat. My advice, it give it a try and return and support them. Thanks you Prezzo. Gary & Kay”

“Great food, had lobster and crab pasta and my husband had the beef and mash, both were 10 out of 10. Followed by two delicious puddings and washed down with some wine .... lovely! The new renovations in Bury Prezzo are really good!”

“Perfect for attending the showground. Leave the van sidewalk over. Rooms are large cleaning and comfortable. My only gripe was the road noise from the A47. I like a bit of ventilation at night but the trade off was road noise. Other than that, pleasant visit.”
