“Been in Norfolk for 6 weeks , tried 2 other fish and chip shops and Jason's Fish and chips was number 3 today. This was superb, quality fish and lovely chips, the curry sauce was off the chart too. Smashed the other chippies we have tried locally so this will be the go to treat take away from now on. Portion was huge too! Very welcoming and very modern and clean, good work.”
“Can't comment on the food as have had rolls etc... The rest is perfect. Friendly to everyone and this includes trans /LGBTQIA+ Owners friendly and run the pub appropriately.”
“Beautiful car, great and reliable service. I've used Watton Taxis for many airport pick ups. Highly recommended.”
“The interior was well configured to make feel like you were one of the only tables taken. Atmosphere was super relaxed and the interior decor was on point. I’m not a fan of being rushed and fussed over while dining and the service reflected that completely, our needs were seamlessly met quite effortlessly. The food was fantastic, simple dishes done perfectly. I chose from the vegan menu and the chef definitely knows what they’re doing. Not eating pasta any other way again.. thanks so much for a lovely birthday meal for my partner!”
“Me and partner went in last night (Saturday) for first time. The food was tremendous, very tasty and great value, we even brought half my partner’s home which she has just had for Sunday tea. I have attended the 2 big Turkish restaurants in Norwich Gem and Haggle and this place was as good if not better and will be my go to place in future for Turkish food”
“Lovely Cafe, great food and service with a smile. Great atmosphere whereby all made you feel welcome. We visited twice and were more than happy with everything, the owner Steve was very friendly and accommodating. If we visit Norwich again I would definitely make this one of our first stops.”
“Spending an unplanned day in Norwich I fancied an English style restaurant lunch. Bishop’s was the first one I found among the huge range of international options. I used the online booking system but this failed to get through to the restaurant. However, there was no drama and we were seated without any delay. The service from the owner was first class as was the 3-course set lunch menu. Each dish was special and I picked up a few new ideas to try myself at home. A great experience and the set menu was excellent value for money.”
“An outstanding lunch with charming and chatty host/ server. A lovely find away from the town centre. Highly recommended”
“Looking forward to a nice evening meal with our friends here and thank goodness we had booked a table at the Indian Spoon restaurant, as this popular spot on the Norfolk broads was fully booked and queues of walk -ins were being politely turned away as we arrived. The food we were served for our evening was absolutely delicious, the chefs delivering the correct level of curry heat and their meats and sauces are up with the best I have tasted in Indian restaurants. The freshness of the ingredients here was obvious not only by the crisp salads tasty naan breads and meats on our plates but by the volume of food being sold through the restaurant and take-aways. Thank you for a nice evening handled professionally during a busy service evening.”
“What a wondrous place! When we walked out it felt we had been there for a few minutes but well over an hour had passed. You will see all sorts of cultural exhibits, all labelled with very informative descriptions. Another great thing about this is that it's a museum that is also a shop! Some of the items on display are up for grabs, in a very non-pushy way, so if you're planning on leaving with a bit of South Asia with you, there are options for all pocket sizes. Strongly recommend! Worth mentioning: parking on site (Norwich isn't great for this) very friendly and knowledgeable staff packed with interesting items without seeming cluttered free entry”
“Get place saw kingfisher and otters ,nice quiet wall along the river .staff very friendly”
“Great 24hr free mooring spot, electric hook up, good mobile signal and country walks nearby.”
“Excellent fry-up made with good quality ingredients throughout. Friendly staff. Some authentic Portuguese meals will guarantee our return to give them a try.”
“Went here when I got caught in a storm on my bike. Run by the loveliest people, all so friendly and keen to help. Everyone in the cafe was talking to each other and it has a really nice community vibe! Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.”
“Such a lovely restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, with excellent service. The food was so delicious and the portions generous, really high quality! Will definitely be going back”
“Lovely scenic and spacious park featuring lots of water, including streams and ponds. Wild horses run free, so handle your dogs accordingly. There are a few benches dotted around and some parking available for low height vehicles.”
“Full marks for quantity. Excellent range of food at very fair prices. Caren is a cheerful soul serving tasty food.”
“We've holidayed on the Broads dozens of times and found Ferry Marina stand head and shoulders above their competitors. We've just spent a week on Whisper Emblem (again) and had a great time. We picked the boat up a little late (due to traffic) but, as always, the handover was quick and efficient because of the friendly knowledgeable staff. They're also always available over the phone as we found mid holiday when I misunderstood some of the high tech on board (thanks David). All their boats are equipped to a very high standard including hotel quality mattresses and bedding (unusual on boats) but 'Whisper' goes above that by providing almost silent cruising and the ability to creep in and out of crowded moorings without disturbing anyone. You can't do the Broads better than with Ferry Marina.”
“Best fish and chips in town hands down!! If you haven't tried yet, it’s a must! Thank you Hon, see you again soon :-)”
“Just had a lovely meal here. Satay to share - wow, delicious. Then chicken Phad Thai and the Cod in black pepper. Quirky place with a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend;)”
“Fabulous RSPB reserve, great shop and cafe. Miles of footpaths to walk around and see wildlife in their habitat. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a good walk with wildlife”
“Have been buying flowers from the rose garden for at least 20 years. Have always found the flowers to be the best quality. I recently brought flowers for my wife Jennies birthday. They only lasted for two to three days. The rose garden replaced the flowers as soon as asked with no quibbles. Thanks again for your great service. Mike and Jen.”
“We went for our first session at the rejuvenated Anchorage yesterday and were very happy to see the huge, positive changes that have been made under the new management. The whole building is clean, fresh and, at long last, cared for. Natalie has already shown that she is intent on treating her customers with understanding and respect, providing facilities that are both welcoming and relaxing. Swimming has become a real pleasure again and an event to look forward to.”
“Wonderful pub in a beautiful setting serving fantastic food. It’s run by people who really care and want you to have a lovely time. It’s also dog-friendly, with a cozy bar and a delightful B&B. An all-round classy place and highly recommended.”
“What a fantastic place. I was concerned by the ticket price but it was worth every penny. We got there for opening and it was busy but we went on everything and only had to queue for the boat ride and the bigger zip wire but everything else was easily accessible. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we had a fantastic day. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a fun packed day out.”
“Really enjoyed our first stay on the camp grounds. Luckily our first night was lovely and quiet. The chemical toilets were lovely and clean and the drinking tap was easy to find. The ground was secure with gates and padlocks. Must check out the Hungry Otter for delicious coffee and cakes. Salhouse broad is small but special.”
“Amazing venue for our pop up choir And for children walking the dog for get food”
“Beautiful and tranquil well worth time just waliking around and sitting for a while”
“Authentic Japanese restaurant offering a wide variety of hot and cold dishes — a great choice for those looking for traditional Japanese cuisine beyond just sushi and sashimi.”
