“Been for work and took a take away from here. Nothing I asked was too much. My kids doesn’t like spicy and usually having Indian takeaway is a challenge but of course not from here. Kids loved the food and so did we ☺️ We love the chicken bhuna If you haven’t tried yet don’t hesitate Thank you for the lovely food ☺️”
“My partner and I went for the Tuesday Night Banquet. There was a varied choice of dishes as well as upgrades available. I’d highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Puri starter. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service really was impressive. We had the pleasure of dealing with 4 different members of the team who all great, very courteous, knowledgable and also quite funny. This wasn’t our first time at The Three Spices, each time it is just as fabulous. We will definitely be back. Thank you all.”
“A truly fantastic restaurant. Myself and my partner have been going here for a 3 years now, and have loves it since the first time we visited! Fantastic food, reasonable prices (especially the Sunday buffet!), amazing atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. In particular, Maria has always been so lovely to us and all the many friends we have brought each time. I would highly recommend this incredible gem of a restaurant!”
“It’s small, but the food is great! The guy works very hard to accommodate you and you do have to wait for your food, but it’s well worth the wait! Only point I would add is take your own drink including soft drinks because the soft drinks choices is limited and there’s no alcohol on sale!”
“Had a wonderful experience at Gurkha Express Nottingham - the chicken momo, chilli chicken, chilli squid, and cheese naan were all well prepared and served. The restaurant delivers an authentic Nepalese-Indian dining experience with great flavours and attention to detail. Portions are generous and they offer excellent value for the quality provided. Service is welcoming, which makes the visit even better. I would definitely recommend Gurkha Express to anyone looking for tasty food in Nottingham.”
“Splendid delicious food, friendly staff, number one indian cuisine in whole of Nottingham, very nice ambience too.”
“We just had our 8th order from Royal Spice and it was delicious, as always. The Chicken tikka masala was richly flavoured and sweet with coconut, the Chana Puri (chick pea starter served on flatbread) was perfectly seasoned and flavoured, and the lamb shashlik was even better. On previous occasions we've ordered the lamb balti and that was beautifully spiced. In my opinion, this is the best Indian takeaway in the area. Oh, and the chap who runs it is a lovely fella.”
“Went here for breakfast on a whim for my 30th birthday. Fancied something authentic and Shahjee's did not disappoint. Its the positive reviews that pulled me in, which definitely checked out. I had the halwa, puri, aloo chana deal. Had an omelette on the side to share, which was lovely. Spicy, with onions, tomatoes and mixed Peppers. The desi tea could have had a but more cinnamon and flavour in it but to be honest, to say it is included in the meal option, you really cannot complain about it. Would definitely come again and glad I trusted the reviews. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked, even the tea. Nothing is already pre-made or packet that you just reheat in the microwave. Yes the place was a tad busy but that's pretty much goes to show how popular and enjoyable the food is. I'd rather go to a place that is busy and bustling, than dead and quiet. Also has a food hygiene rating of 5. The negative reviews are either very picky/fussy eaters with lack of patience, or may have just a genuine hiccup, which can happen. I think so long as you give the place an opportunity to actually rectify the concern/issue, then that's what matters, as opposed to coming on her to moan and complain. Will be coming again.”
“Clean and not busy for Sunday. Ordered different burgers. Both chicken and lamb nice- halal McDonald’s upnorth. Chips could of done with a bit more salt but would not stop me coming again. Was served by Ahmed who was polite, friendly and helpful.”
“always so friendly and welcoming whenever I go to collect food, big smiles and opening and holding the door open for me as I leave. Food was smashing as usual, with some cheeky extras thrown in for my birthday too!! Thank you so much, a lovely treat for my 30th made lovelier by yourselves!”

“Very delicious food and great coffee”
“First time trying Ethiopian food and I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Eating with my hands was definitely an experience and each component had its own flavour so you’re able to combine any per mouthful.”
“An absolutely fantastic restaurant. The staff are amazing. The food is superb and the venue is beautiful. Hospitality is attentive and the food served in a timely manner with no rush but enough time to relax and enjoy. Top of the bill is the service. Friendly, engaging, intelligent and know exactly how to do their job. Very good. The food is fresh and superb. Very well cooked monkfish and amazingly tasty gravy. Fresh tandoori prawns were the best for a long time. So much on the menu we could have chosen was the hardest bit of the evening. Come and enjoy a wonderful night for either a group or a couple. It works just as well for everyone.”
“Fantastic very friendly and a delicious meal good service I would recommend.”
“Tucked away in a corner of an industrial area of Nottingham, this is an Alladins cave of Greek and Cypriot food and ingredients. You can order online, there's some parking, but I think that in future we will order via the Internet as getting there is not the easiest! Inside it is really like the aforementioned cave! With an alcove for the drinks. Keo, Keo, I like Keo. Go for it, we're sure you won't be disappointed!”
“Amazing authentic tasty food, xlsrge variety of dishes and decent portions. Can't fault it, so would recommend it. Enjoy.”
“Very friendly good hot meat puri and Begon Bahar very good flavour and heat.”

“I recently had a visit to this lovely restaurant with a group of friends. Parking: There is a limited car parking at the front with around 10-12 vehicle space. The restaurant has a very beautiful entrance with a small garden and water like fountain. Food: The food was all of good portion and was very delicious. They even catered and fulfilled our request to make the food a bit spicy. The food arrived in good timely manner as well. Seating: The seating was nicely laid out for our group. And there were plenty of other seats as well. We were provided with a separate room which was big enough for our group. Disabled access. Although we didnt have anyone who needed the need. However, for other disabled customer info, there is stairs which might be a bit of challenge to go to the restaurant from the car park entrance. Price: The price per customer was roughly 25£ for starters main and side dish. Excluding drinks. Staff and Service: Staff were nicely dressed and very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to have the thai food.”
“After my fifth visit to this beautiful restaurant I think it was about time I left a review. A stunning restaurant full of passionate and experienced servers and chefs that cook the most exquisite, fresh, flavourful Greek food I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. The faces I make when eating each dish makes my company laugh each time. If you haven’t been…go. You won’t regret it.”
“Went to chai roti last night for the first time, they were clearly very popular with people coming in and out to collect their food. The man at the counter took time to explain the menu to us telling us they make everything fresh so can adapt our order to our liking spice wise etc. We pre ordered for an hour later as had only popped in for a menu and it was a little early for us to eat. When we went back, the man was just as friendly and very helpful. The food was just as good as the service we had received. The best Indian take away we have had in a very long time. Everything was hot the naans were very soft and the flavours were lovely. We could tell everything had been made fresh and not just reheated as weve had from other takeaway restaurants. We will definitely be back again to try other things on the menu. Thank you for a lovely meal.”
“Delicious food in a familiar and warm environment. My first Pad Thai in my life which exceeded all my expectations!”
“The food at Bee Thai is always incredibly fresh and full of bold, authentic flavors. Every dish tastes like it was made to order with care. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients — nothing ever feels reheated or rushed. If you love real Thai food, this place is a must.”
“Their barfis are the best tasting in Nottingham in my opinion. A box of 6 pieces costing a little under £6.”
