“Our last sample of the food experience in Paignton over a few days and this one was pretty impressive. The chef knows how to cook a Steak and according to the misses the Lamb Chomp was pretty exceptional as well. Good service, Dog friendly and great food. You should give them a go when you're next there.”
“Decent fish and chips, with fish cooked to order and fairly reasonable pricing. Open for lunch which was a bonus!”
“Me and my partner have been regulars of Minerva for a very long time. Their sandwiches and hot chocolate have been part of our Sunday routine after hitting the gym. Today I visited their new place, Sato, and I am so impressed by how much they elevated an already wonderful place, we went for brunch and tried their potato rosti with bacon eggs hollaindese sauce and black pudding and it was an explosion of flavours and textures, well balanced and super delicious. My partner had the chicken waffle and it was so lovely too (we shared cause we wanted to try everything). The people are lovely, they always have been! Can’t wait to come back for dinner ☺️☺️”
“Sky, who was working today, made our team feel really welcome. Our dogs even got a pupacino! Great flapjacks. I hope one day the cafe gets a permanent purpose built home.”
“Daisy's Tea Rooms is the most welcoming place you could ever visit. The afternoon tea is amazing and so tasty. When you walk into Daisy's you enter as strangers and leave as extended family. Jackie and Carl are the most friendliest hosts you could ever meet and nothing is too much trouble.”
“Amazing brunch! We shared the brunch board and it exceeded all expectations. Our server was so good she was managing the whole restaurant so elegantly. A bonus is it’s dog friendly. Highly recommend!”
“A true hidden gem. Popped in for breakfast with family. Amazing food and very reasonably priced too. Eggs were perfect. There is nothing too much trouble for the staff either. I will definitely be returning.”
“I can't recommend this place enough. In the middle of a cost of living crisis it's very hard to find places to go with two toddlers. I also struggle when I am on my own with them as a lot of bigger soft play area's cater to all ages and my toddlers will try to go in area's not designed for them. Hyperspace is not only incredibly affordable but it is PERFECT for young children. I am able to let me one and two year old have their independence and explore freely, while still being able to see them both and ensure their safety. This not only makes it an incredibly calm and happy experience but improves their development. If you are expecting a super modern, aesthetically pleasing soft play, this may not be for you but it has everything young children could possibly ask for, it's safe and the staff are incredibly friendly. They have noticed on a number of occasions, me struggling and have always helped where possible. Their drinks are affordable, especially when purchased alongside soft play entrance. Hyperspace has been a real life saver for me and my children love it, thank you so much.”
“First time trying this restaurant for a cheeky kebab and we would defo use again. the food was tasty and fresh. the delivery arrived earlier than expected and everyone enjoyed their meal!”
“First time here and just stopped in on a whim. Service was swift and with a smile. Food was delicious will definitely be coming back when im in the area again! 10/10”
“Looks like a family run independent cafe, and fish shop with lots of freshly caught seafood next to each other, that is also reasonably priced. The seafoods and crab sandwiches are always fresh and the staff are quite friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in their trade. I always buy the seafoods there due to the fair prices and good hygiene whenever we are in Salcombe. It is the real treasure for seafood lovers. And also the Yawl cafe is one of the few and best place for a light bite in Salcombe, serving a large range of delicious made-to-order paninis and toasties and great coffee! Owners and their team are always very welcoming, willing to help and seem happy to see you no matter how busy they are!”
“The owners of this place are absolutely wonderful and the food is phenomenal! The chorizo pizza was the best pizza I’ve ever had and the barista Mina is the sweetest. Very welcoming environment, I could not recommend this place enough!!”
“What a great place. I came over this coffee shop by accident and I am so glad. The staff are very friendly. The food is great and the cakes... wow. I have had a great cup of coffee and also a flora tea which was lovely and something different.”
“Great food great service and a really nice little spot in Devonport”
“Had a quick lunch in Plymouth market. Order the Chestnut stir fry with beef, it comes with rice and a seafood noodles. The food is a bit salty and sweet for my oriental tongue, the portion is good! Ordered a Thai milk tea, a bit sweet for me but it’s okay after the food.”
“Had breakfast. Asian steak and eggs. Waa the best breakfast I have ever had. Service was amazing and pricing was good. Dog friendly too. Go and visit this place. You won't be disappointed.”
“Made to feel welcome, lots of healthy options, the waffle, yoghurt and fruit was delicious!”
“Lovely food and staff. Will definitely come back”
“Me and my partner went in after a nice walk on the Barbican, we got a couple of small plates to share and was so impressed with the food. The halloumi fries were massive so would definitely recommend! Amazing place to go and visit, staff were so friendly and nice, we’re definitely going to come back!”
“My husband and I ate lunch here last week. Sitting in the sun outside eating the most delicious food was such a treat. The food we had was really outstanding. As a bit of a foodie running my own catering business I find it really hard to eat out as I'm often disappointed. Not at Mime. I had the perfect wellness bowl and my hubby had the sausage roll with salad. We were having such a good time we stayed for coffee and cake! Thank you for making our trip to Tavistock so good.”
“Amazing coffee (large flat white!), delicious pancakes made to order. Nice to sit with the locals in this cosy cafe.”
“Stopped at this cafe in the morning around 9am, few people, peaceful and quiet. It’s a great place to chill and enjoy the view of boats. Great coffee and very nice barista”
“I came here for the first today and it was really good! The food was really good quality and the food portions were amazing! The staff were lovely and the place looked gorgeous! I would 100% recommend this place!”
“Lovely coffee, looked like a good food menu although I didn't eat, was in there at lunchtime and the ladies were doing an admirable job but felt a little manic.”
“Came in for food. Had two of the specials. Potato and leak soup and the burrito. Soup was hearty and flavourful accompanied with warm bread and butter can't go wrong. The burrito was nice paired with chips and side salad. Little greasy but had all the right flavours. Staff were great no complaints. Will come here again for sure.”
“Had a wonderful evening meal here last weekend. Fabulous steaks cooked on the open fire, and also the best scallops ever. Service was 5 star and the atmosphere was great (if a bit smoky at times!) Would definitely recommend and we will be back again. Thanks Frank and the team.”
“Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It fully deserves it's position in the Sunday Times top 50 best Gastropubs. The rooms, food and service are all so good. It was a chance booking but what a find. To cap everything else off to have it's own parking space for every room while in such a central location is amazing. This is a true gem of a find.”
“This cafe has a slight retro vibe with efficient, friendly staff. My unexpected treat of whilst I waited for the 'weather' to clear. Full fry up, very tasty and excellent value. Breakfast plus 2 coffes (free top up), all £10!”
“We stayed nearby for few days and decided to visit for breakfast. What a lovely place! Service was quick and prompt. We been served by few people as we went twice and everybody was nice and polite. Amazing pancakes and breakfast was just delicious, great quality bacon and portion was really big. Great coffee to served with specolus biscuits. Oh and don't forget the view. If we were living less then 5 hours drive this would be definitely our favourite place!”
“Absolutely loved our meal here. The Ship Inn has such a wonderful atmosphere, and I wish we had been staying in the area for longer because I wanted to come back for a second time! Staff were so friendly, food served quickly and the portions were huge! I hope to visit again in future, the Ship Inn is my favourite pub / restaurant in Noss Mayo.”
