“I attended regular sessions with Steve at PRC for I think, the best part of 3 years and had I not gone of travelling I would still be seeing him once a month. I attended once a week in the beginning but gradually took it down to 2 weekly, then 3, then monthly. Even though by the end of it I wasn’t struggling like I was in the beginning, those monthly sessions kept me on track, helped me to keep checking in with myself and how I was processing and dealing with things. Steve was really easy to talk to, it was a very comfortable space to talk openly in and I never felt judged, it’s only now I have moments when things happen that I might not have dealt with so well in the past that I realise how much I have grown. Steve definitely helped me learn new ways to work through any challenges that might arise. My sessions helped with so many aspects of my life and i recommend PRC and Steve in particular to anyone needing to talk to someone, I actually put my son on to PRC and will be forever grateful to les for helping him to deal with some issues he was having. The difference in him was huge. Can’t recommend highly enough”

“I cannot believe how helpful the staff at The Exeter were on 27th December when I called for help to have my husband transferred to a private hospital after he was admitted to Ealing on 20th. I first spoke to Holly, who explained clearly what was needed to achieve this. I then spend most of the morning trying to contact a consultant to obtain the required report without success and, finally Prof Arnold, the department head at Ealing through one of his private practices only to find the Clementine Churchill no longer listed him, the Syon Clinic was closed and we were not covered for The Cromwell. I went back to The Exeter, Alia I think who said try to contact a Dr Hosein through the hospital and, when this failed, finally to , I think Ali, though I may have this wrong, it was around 12.31, to ask if we could go through The Cromwell and just pay the excess. I was told that The Exeter had channels that I couldn't access and, sure enough, Prof Arnold, the very man I wanted to speak to called me back, took some details and then called me back again to explain exactly what was wrong with my husband. He persuaded that he was better off to remain where he was - wonder if the Exeter had any hand in that. However, the staff I spoke to could not have been more helpful and supportive, so thanks to all of you.”

“My wife recently had a C-section here, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We stayed for a few days after the surgery, and the care we received was top-notch. The doctors during the operation were incredible—my wife was really anxious about something going wrong, but they were so professional and calm that they helped put her at ease. The maternity social workers and midwives were always around, making sure we were comfortable and taking care of everything we needed. A special shoutout to the midwives who were amazing with breastfeeding support—they were patient, encouraging, and really helped us feel more confident. The breastfeeding supervisor also made a big difference with her practical advice and hands-on support. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen staff were great about accommodating (rather complicated) dietary restrictions - which we really appreciated. The newborn unit staff were also wonderful with our baby. We’re so thankful to have been in such a supportive environment during this special time. Huge thanks to everyone—the doctors, maternity social workers, midwives—for their exceptional care and kindness!”
