The activity days for the kids are amazing, and sometimes we are gobsmacked without how much they have done throughout the week. The animals are amazing & the infographics for all of them are informative & eye-opening, there is so much to see. Between the last remaining LCT to the Grizzly Sherman and the Crocodile Churchill tank ready to go in her well deck to a unusual tank recovery vehicle Sherman and a DUWK this museum packs a lot of punch for its size. A great start for a commemorative WWII tour for the battle sites across Europe.”

“One of the best soft plays available for a younger child, my daughter aged 10 months had lots to play with and experience here. The only thing to fault would be the small table and chair area which could be a bit bigger but nothing major! We will definitely be back!”

“Absolutely brilliant! I was lucky enough to be the celebrant for J&V's wedding last Thursday at The Millstream Hotel. I was welcomed by the General Manager and her team with coffee and freshly made cookies. Incredibly welcoming. The team looked after our wedding guests with care abd attention ensuring my couple had THE best day. Our service went perfectly with tge GM delivering sentimental items into the service for me to get the tone just right. Ice cream was served to all the guests whilst my couple signed thier certificate, and all in all they had the best day. Thank you for looking after me so very well, I hope to be back!”

“I love this venue, been to a decent number of comedy shows here and they've always been good fun. It's a small and intimate venue, I'd guess it's less than 80 capacity so there's not a bad seat in the house. Drinks are cheap and there's a decent selection of local beers which includes Bowman Ales.”

“I recommend highly the ‘Little Rippers Surfing Course for 5-7 year-olds. 2 hours for £60 and they all learned to catch waves and stand up! Sam delivered the boards to the kids and the tuition team was led by Simon with Tom and Ted. So three teachers for seven children on our course which was a great ratio. An energy-packed couple of hours with all the kit provided and after-swim facilities too. Four places left for their 9.15am course on Friday 16th August. Here’s an excerpt from their website: “All of the learning is made easier and safer through the use of soft 9 foot longboards with flexible rubber fins. West Wittering frequently provides small waves which are perfect for the first steps in surfing. The waves generally appear a few hours before high tide (this is when the surf lessons are scheduled) We provide children with everything they need to participate, including a high-quality, single lined glued and blind-stitched wetsuit. We also have a warm, dry club house with hot showers, changing rooms and as much tea and coffee as you want so you can eat your lunch in comfort. In fact, the only thing you need to bring is your towel. All of our instructors are fully qualified and are hand-picked to ensure you have the best learning experience – plenty of fun whilst still learning! All instructors carry UHF radios, we have jet-ski rescue and there are life-guards on West Wittering beach in the summer months.””
