“Really enjoyed my burger the other day. Great having the choice on how you want it cooked and really loved the onion rings. Staff were great too. Can’t remember his name but the tall older manager was great and really knew the menu and made a great recommendation.”

“Takeaway Burrito. Really impressed. The burrito was a great size with loads of filling options. I went for chicken with coriander rice; pico and sweetcorn salsa with some spicy sauce and it was spot on. Fresh, tasty and properly filling. Fair price too at around £8.50. Will definitely be back.”

“A nicely located pub just in the heart of Prospect Park. The place has plenty of free parking (don’t forget to register at check in). The menu is quite ‘suculent’ with lots of options and nicely cooked food (not a fish ‘n’ chip bar). The view is great over the park with a quiet ambiance. You can have salad as much as you like which is a vegan’s paradise. Waiting time for taking the order is a bit long but quite polite so doesn’t feel rushed in any way. Book and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner with family, friends or just on your own.”

“First time having food from these guys. I am a coach driver and was stuck at a school all day and had no lunch so ordered through just eat app. Food came really quick, was piping hot, bottle of drink was lovely and cold (best bit as very hot in full uniform sat in sun). It was absolutely gorgeous food as well, way better and cheaper than other 'main' brands. Will definitely use again if out this way again anytime.”

“Popped in for a meal whilst working in area and had the loviest meal, had Chicken Tikka Massala with Pilau Rice, was very nice and freshly cooked. The Garlic naam was the best I've ever had....absolutely delicious!! Oh and the lime pickle went down a treat to. “We popped into Veena's Kitchen on a bit of a whim yesterday evening and can say with confidence it was the best Thai food I've had in years. The starters were tasty (chicken wings & prawn crackers) & the Thai Green Curry was delicious & punchy. My partner had the Pad Gra Phrao which was also very tasty. Service was impeccable & the total bill reasonable. I can highly recommend a visit. We'll be back very soon!”

“As great as ever! Been unlucky with timings recently - always best to check the website to make sure its open. The best coffee in Reading and really tasty food that arrives before you expect it! The owners are absolutely lovely, they really care about the people who visit, if I lived in Kennet Island I would definitely go every day it was open, 100% worth a detour to visit if you live remotely near Reading. :)”

“Fantastic place to eat. I've been going here for the last 2 years or so and so far have not had a bad experience. That includes me and my wife, family parties and using their take-away service. The service is amazing, all polite, efficient and the owner of the restaurant is always on hand and thanks us as we leave. The drinks are a little pricer than I would like but that is the same no matter where you go and the pudding options are very limited (although I'm usually stuffed before getting to them) but overall, a brilliant place.”
