“My wife and I fancied a proper decent neopolitan pizza, after a quick Google search we discovered The Pizzatarian and after reading thier reviews we had to try it. All I can say is, if you haven't tried this absolutely delicious pizza then you need too. It's right up there with the best you'll eat! Clearly made with love. It's five stars from us.”

“We met Mannie when she had one of her charcuterie bars at Basing House Wedding Fayre. We really liked this idea and decided to book her for after our wedding as an alternative to the traditional canapés whilst the photos were taking place. Mannie liased with us on what we would like and we chose a mixture of sweet and savoury. On the day she themed the cart to our wedding theme of Christmas and even popped a couple of filled up cones to one side to make sure, as the bride and groom, we got one. We had some lovely comments from people on the day several who went back for seconds. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Mannicitas Catering and the brilliant charcuterie bars for anyone looking for something different to the usual canapés. Thank you, Mannie, for being part of our special day.”

“Hey Presto! From the moment we arrived, the service at this place was exceptional. Despite being a large party of 15, they accommodated us at very short notice—something many places wouldn’t even attempt on a busy weekend day. The manager/owner personally welcomed us, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. He went out of his way to explain that the chicken and lamb are halal, which was not only thoughtful but allowed several of us to explore more of the menu confidently. On his recommendation, we ordered the chicken focaccia, which turned out to be a standout—tender, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. Highly recommended. The pizzas were genuinely authentic Neapolitan style—light, airy crust with just the right char, and high-quality ingredients you can taste in every bite. The food came out quickly, and despite the group size, the waitresses were welcoming, attentive, and incredibly efficient, ensuring everyone was looked after without missing a beat. To finish, we had coffee—and I can honestly say, it was the best I’ve had in Maidenhead. Rich, smooth, and perfectly pulled. We followed that with fresh cannoli, which were the ideal sweet finish. There’s a certain charm to the atmosphere here. With the smell of fresh dough, barista-quality coffee, and the staff’s warmth, if the people around were dressed just a bit more elegantly, you might just mistake yourself for an eaterie in Naples or Rome. This was my first visit to Presto, but absolutely won’t be the last. It’s rare to find a place that delivers great food, personal service, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere all in one.”

“We walked past the truck and were struck by the absolutely delicious smell of fresh falafel and something on the grill. I stopped immediately and asked my husband if he wanted to try a wrap from Puree. As we were only visiting Reading, I genuinely did not know how delicious the wraps are, and how highly rated the place is. We only took away one falafel and halloumi wrap, but I wish we had ordered more! The wrap was delicious even after our two-hour journey back home (I recommend eating on the spot as it probably would've tasted even better fresh!) The portions are generous here, with more than adequate sauce and fillings. The lady who served us was polite, welcoming and friendly. I also appreciate the Jaffa St. sign displayed on the truck. We will definitely come here again the next time we're in Reading.”

“1000% would recommend popping in here for a great feed. Hands down my favourite Mexican I’ve had so far since moving to the UK. The beef brisket is so full of flavor and juicy. As you can see from the photos we ordered quite a lot and there wasn’t a single bad plate of food. Every plate was delicious and very reasonably priced. If you’re in the Reading area and are looking for some amazing food, definitely stop off here. :)”

“Popped in for a meal whilst working in area and had the loviest meal, had Chicken Tikka Massala with Pilau Rice, was very nice and freshly cooked. The Garlic naam was the best I've ever had....absolutely delicious!! Oh and the lime pickle went down a treat to. Staff are so hospitable and was lovely that the chef came out and greeted us, real nice touch.”

“A wonderful wkend away with my partner before lockdown, very relaxing. The hosts were amazing and very hospitable. Large en-suite rooms, each with a different theme. Very clean, bar on site, excellent home made meals and live music in evenings. We will definitely be staying again!! Perfect for romantic getaways or just a change of scenery or that special occasion. Genuinely had a blast.”

“Well, that was ridiculous. I haven't had a meal that good in years and as a takeaway never. we had the pit box platter and all of it was great (honorable mentions to the pork, link and chip seasoning) but the brisket is just incredible. I spent years eating bbq in America and Canada and theirs is just right up there. I could eat that breakfast, lunch and dinner. The effort that goes into meat that good and it needs to be appreciated. portion size is generous and the quality is outstanding. can't praise enough they will see us again”

“This is hands-down the best Polish restaurant in the UK! Every dish I've tried has been absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes that leave you satisfied. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the service is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The only improvement I’d suggest is adding air-conditioning, as it can get quite warm inside, especially during hot weather. Otherwise, an outstanding dining experience that I highly recommend!”

“The best sushi we have eaten. Mo is warm and friendly and has given us free tasters due to the amount of times we've been in. There is almost always space to just walk in, honestly this place should be rammed each night. A must visit for Newbury if you like Sushi.”
