“We walked past the truck and were struck by the absolutely delicious smell of fresh falafel and something on the grill. I stopped immediately and asked my husband if he wanted to try a wrap from Puree. As we were only visiting Reading, I genuinely did not know how delicious the wraps are, and how highly rated the place is. We only took away one falafel and halloumi wrap, but I wish we had ordered more! The wrap was delicious even after our two-hour journey back home (I recommend eating on the spot as it probably would've tasted even better fresh!) The portions are generous here, with more than adequate sauce and fillings. The lady who served us was polite, welcoming and friendly. I also appreciate the Jaffa St. sign displayed on the truck. We will definitely come here again the next time we're in Reading.”

“This is hands-down the best Polish restaurant in the UK! Every dish I've tried has been absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes that leave you satisfied. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the service is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The only improvement I’d suggest is adding air-conditioning, as it can get quite warm inside, especially during hot weather. Otherwise, an outstanding dining experience that I highly recommend!”

“This was great time spent at Zizzi for my daughter's 18th Birthday. Best place in Newbury we chosen to celebrate birthday with her 15 friends. Great Hospitality, excellent ambiance, friendly staff and needless to say excellent food and beverages. Manager Sachin and other staff members joined us for birthday cake cutting which made birthday more joyful and memorable. Surely recommend to my other friends. Thank you Zizzi.”

The welcome and service was excellent despite the business of the evening. The food was absolutely delicious and house red....yum! We don't live in the town but will definitely be back. “We went there for my husband's birthday. I made a request through online booking form for a candle with our dessert for a little celebration at the end. The staff had it all ready! Not only that, infact everything from the food, ambience and the service was immaculate. We left feeling so satisfied and happy for finding a great restaurant so close to us. “Incredible cafe/ restaurant tucked away next to Reading Uni. Great customer service and remarkable food. Sensational taste and brimming with authenticity this cafe combined Western food with Mediterranean cuisine in a fantastic manner. Fair prices as well, will DEFINITELY be returning!”

“As great as ever! Been unlucky with timings recently - always best to check the website to make sure its open. The best coffee in Reading and really tasty food that arrives before you expect it! The owners are absolutely lovely, they really care about the people who visit, if I lived in Kennet Island I would definitely go every day it was open, 100% worth a detour to visit if you live remotely near Reading. :)”

“A wonderful wkend away with my partner before lockdown, very relaxing. The hosts were amazing and very hospitable. Large en-suite rooms, each with a different theme. Very clean, bar on site, excellent home made meals and live music in evenings. We will definitely be staying again!! “We popped into Veena's Kitchen on a bit of a whim yesterday evening and can say with confidence it was the best Thai food I've had in years. The starters were tasty (chicken wings & prawn crackers) & the Thai Green Curry was delicious & punchy. My partner had the Pad Gra Phrao which was also very tasty. Service was impeccable & the total bill reasonable. I can highly recommend a visit. We'll be back very soon!”
