“The BEST hidden gem! The owners are absolutely wonderful – so passionate, welcoming, and friendly, they make you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in. The food is just delicious, made with genuine Italian ingredients that taste completely different to anything you’ll find in other cafés. Every bite is full of authentic flavour and love. I always recommend this place to friends and tell all my baby massage clients to pop in after class. It is such a lovely spot to enjoy real Italian food and a relaxed atmosphere. A must visit!”

“We hired Hermanos Taco truck to come to our office for our work Christmas do and it was brilliant! Eveything from the nachos and guacamole to start to the gorgeous tacos for main and then the tequila mince pies and delicious chocolate desserts, everyone loved it! Communication from the start was brilliant, clear and prompt and the service on the night was second to none- would thoroughly recommend and will be definitely hiring this company again for any other event. “Beautiful cafe, food and owners. I was driving back to North Wales after visiting friends in Camberley and Deepcut. My brakes suddenly failed. Thankfully I managed to pull into a housing estate and parked. I had no idea where or if there was a garage I asked several people but most ignored me. I could not get a signal on my phone. I was soaking wet from walking around trying to get signal. I was also very cold and very tired. There were no hotels and it was getting dark. I found this lovely cafe further up the road. It was closing time but the very kind owners told me to go in and get warm and dry, they also made great coffee and cooked food for me. Their kindness was overwhelming after the scary and horrible experience I had when the car suddenly went out of control and the brakes failed due to an ABS problem. A teenage girl told me where to get help and gave me directions. Very grateful to her too”

“The best sushi we have eaten. Mo is warm and friendly and has given us free tasters due to the amount of times we've been in. There is almost always space to just walk in, honestly this place should be rammed each night. A must visit for Newbury if you like Sushi.”

“My wife and I ordered through Uber eats. Uber messed up and brought us someone else’s order from here. We called them and they said they would remake our order for free and then they delivered it in 20 minutes. Outstanding service. The burgers are pretty damn good, good meat, good buns. They’re not your super over the top gourmet burgers, nor are they your kebab van dirty burgers but are more like great upgraded Burger King burgers. The chips are decent and we tried the loaded fries which are better than most from similar places.”

“Had a birthday lunch here with my daughter. The restaurant was buzzing and elevated a lunch on a Friday afternoon to a really vibrant experience! Small mix up with plates with our neighbouring table but we had a fun little chat with our fellow diners and overall couldn't have had a better time. The lunch menu is especially good value for money!”

“Loved our latest visit to Megan’s! We’ve been several times before for lunch but tried brunch today and it was lovely! We had the Turkish eggs with an added sausage and it was delicious and super filling! Great service from Mike who was also super engaging and helpful, similar to the lovely member of staff who originally seated us. Keep up the good work and we’ll be back soon.”

“Returning from London through Didcot and searched for a restaurant locally. I arrived just as Zigana was closing but was offered a Chicken Chicken Beyti wrap as takeaway. I also bought the shakshuka and Dolma (stuffed vine leaves). The owner threw in a free dish (I chose Yogurtlu Patlican) and free beer while I waited for the chicken to cook over the charcoal. As I left, he also added fresh baked bread. The food is absolutely delicious, incredible balance of spices, herbs, heat and sour yoghurt. I will return for an in house meal in the near future, and how lovely to be greeted with such generosity. Many thanks.”

“We went to see the show ‘It will be alright on the night’ a ray Cooney production. This was the first time we had been since the sit down menu change at the theatre. Very impressed. Lovely food, comfy seats and table service. Staff were brilliant and we had plenty of time to eat before the show. The show was outstanding, very funny and we all had a wonderful evening. We also went at Christmas to see White Christmas and again the show was outstanding and perfect for this time of year. 100 recommend a visit to this wonderful theatre.”

“Gotten pies to take away from here a few times, today I sat in with some friends visiting from the US, we all loved the pies. Recommendations are the Five Nations, the Lamb & Mint, and the Venison & Boar. The pork pies are pretty good but would recommend their other pies over them.”
