“We popped into Veena's Kitchen on a bit of a whim yesterday evening and can say with confidence it was the best Thai food I've had in years. The starters were tasty (chicken wings & prawn crackers) & the Thai Green Curry was delicious & punchy. My partner had the Pad Gra Phrao which was also very tasty. Service was impeccable & the total bill reasonable. I can highly recommend a visit. We'll be back very soon!”

“The BEST hidden gem! The owners are absolutely wonderful – so passionate, welcoming, and friendly, they make you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in. The food is just delicious, made with genuine Italian ingredients that taste completely different to anything you’ll find in other cafés. Every bite is full of authentic flavour and love. I always recommend this place to friends and tell all my baby massage clients to pop in after class. It is such a lovely spot to enjoy real Italian food and a relaxed atmosphere. A must visit!”

“Beautiful cafe, food and owners. I was driving back to North Wales after visiting friends in Camberley and Deepcut. My brakes suddenly failed. Thankfully I managed to pull into a housing estate and parked. I had no idea where or if there was a garage I asked several people but most ignored me. I could not get a signal on my phone. I was soaking wet from walking around trying to get signal. I was also very cold and very tired. There were no hotels and it was getting dark. I found this lovely cafe further up the road. It was closing time but the very kind owners told me to go in and get warm and dry, they also made great coffee and cooked food for me. Their kindness was overwhelming after the scary and horrible experience I had when the car suddenly went out of control and the brakes failed due to an ABS problem. A teenage girl told me where to get help and gave me directions. Very grateful to her too”

“Best pizza in Farnham, and that includes their Gluten Free base. Delicious with great ingredients. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. My favourite is the Italian pop music, and trattoria style decor. A real neighbourhood restaurant, a gem x”

“We found Avanti by accident during a rather soggy few hours at BunkFest. We booked a table, left to enjoy more music and headed back. The welcome and service was excellent despite the business of the evening. The food was absolutely delicious and house red....yum! We don't live in the town but will definitely be back. If you're looking for an authentic Italian with fresh ingredients and super service, this is the place to go.”

From the moment we arrived, the staff made me and my friends feel so welcome and taken care of. “This was great time spent at Zizzi for my daughter's 18th Birthday. Best place in Newbury we chosen to celebrate birthday with her 15 friends. Great Hospitality, excellent ambiance, friendly staff and needless to say excellent food and beverages. Manager Sachin and other staff members joined us for birthday cake cutting which made birthday more joyful and memorable. Surely recommend to my other friends. Thank you Zizzi.”

“We hired Hermanos Taco truck to come to our office for our work Christmas do and it was brilliant! Eveything from the nachos and guacamole to start to the gorgeous tacos for main and then the tequila mince pies and delicious chocolate desserts, everyone loved it! “My wife and I ordered through Uber eats. Uber messed up and brought us someone else’s order from here. We called them and they said they would remake our order for free and then they delivered it in 20 minutes. Outstanding service. The burgers are pretty damn good, good meat, good buns. They’re not your super over the top gourmet burgers, nor are they your kebab van dirty burgers but are more like great upgraded Burger King burgers. The chips are decent and we tried the loaded fries which are better than most from similar places.”

“As great as ever! Been unlucky with timings recently - always best to check the website to make sure its open. The best coffee in Reading and really tasty food that arrives before you expect it! The owners are absolutely lovely, they really care about the people who visit, if I lived in Kennet Island I would definitely go every day it was open, 100% worth a detour to visit if you live remotely near Reading. :)”
