There were plenty of activities available, but more than enough gorgeous scenery to just go for a leisurely walk. The staff were incredible, friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Forest Ranger John was an absolute legend with his delightful quiz on Wednesday and a lovely, impromptu walk in the forest on Tuesday. I would absolutely come again and highly recommend Forest holidays in Sherwood to anyone looking for a peaceful, picturesque break in the forest.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The location is fantastic — quiet, safe, and with very convenient parking. Everything we needed was close by, making it an ideal base for our trip. What truly made our experience exceptional was the host, Joe. He was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout. When we had some trouble finding the check-in instructions, Joe responded immediately and guided us through everything without delay. He really went the extra mile to ensure we had a smooth and enjoyable stay — and we truly appreciated that personal touch. The apartment itself was nice, comfortable and well-equipped. While the cleanliness of the kitchen could have been slightly better (fridge shelves and some kitchen cupboard doors and handles needed a little wipe), it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Despite that minor issue, I would still rate this stay a full 5 stars without hesitation, would definitely stay again!”
