“Enjoyed the live music but you need your thermals on as the centre court yard is outdoors and I found it a bit chilly. Home made pizzas available from their pizza ovens. I didn't try but they looked delicious. Nice bar but on the pricy side. Lovely feel to the place with lighting and fairy lights. Parking isn't easy but there is some availability on side roads. I'd definitely recommend a visit.”

The staff are lovely, and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and set up perfectly. I will be using this venue for any future events.”

“A hidden gem. Every member of staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were pristine with snow white bedding and bathrobes. The bathroom was very spacious with a large shower. We had dinner and the meals we had were very large and tasty. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it .”

“Came here for a meal out, really tidy, friendly and professional staff. Quick with ordering and delivering drinks and the food was quick service too. Lamb bhuna was amazing aswell as the garlic rice. Good portions with generous meat. Popadoms were perfect with generous dips and the naans were fab.”

“I nipped out of the office at lunch today to get a quick haircut before holiday. I didn't have time to book online but was greeted politely and told that he could fit me in within half an hour due to being short staffed on the day. Returned when agreed and had a great haircut. Easy to get on with, would recommend and will certainly be back in the future!”

“We had a beautiful lunch at this tea room today. I had quiche with new potatoes, salad and coleslaw. My husband had cottage pie with peas. We had to wait a little while as it is cooked to order but well worth waiting for and it arrived piping hot. We ate in The Dog House as we had our dogs with us. We've had tea and cake there before but not had a meal but we'll certainly have a meal there again. A lovely walk round the lake and reasonably priced parking all added to a lovely afternoon out.”

“just had a lovely lunch here. I had derbyshire oatcake delicious. A little on the cool side, I mentioned it to the waitress & she whipped it away & brought another piping hot. My husband had the best ploughmans he’s ever had. Fast service great atmosphere. Dog friendly. Great shopping area too.”

“We got married at the Sitwell Arms on 30th December and the day was incredible from start to finish! The staff were incredible and a special mention to our wedding co-ordinator Laura who was fabulous, she put us at ease all day and nothing was ever too much and Cameron who stayed with us until the end of the night. “Can’t comment on the hotel but just had Sunday lunch, we got the platter for 2 and the portion is amazing! Could have easily fed 3 people. Beef was a little too well done for me (that’s just personal preference) but they’ll chicken was well seasoned and the pork belly melted in your mouth! Amazing service from Simon and the team! Always happy to help and nothings too much trouble!”
