“My son enjoyed his time at Pump Farm enormously. From his first weeks in Ducklings aged 13 months, his interests have been developed and he's now a very inquisitive and questioning child - just the kind I'd love to have in my classroom if he weren't my own! Writing lots of letters and numbers and sitting nicely at a table can wait - exploring the world around him and enjoying finding things out are the work of early years. I am full of admiration for the staff - they really care about bringing out the best in every child and are driven by what the child wants and needs rather than targets set by Government agencies. Too many other nursery providers locally are focused on getting children to sit down at tables & start their formal learning….. I’m so glad we left our son with you for another year and kept him out of a classroom! He's happy to come back during the holidays for Forest Schools Holiday Club and explore the outdoors, taking risks in his play and developing his confidence. Our daughter attends Pump Farm Day Nursery in their Free Rangers/Forest Schools group and really enjoys the outdoor time and the creative risk taking that the setting provides for her. She too has grown into an inquisitive and adventurous child as a result of the amazing work the staff at the nursery do. I couldn't ask for a better place to entrust my children to.”

“Excellent nursery, my son was at this nursery from 7 months to 4 years old, now he is at school, on the first day of school he asked to go to nursery, I think he misses the staff... very grateful for having taken care of my son with empathy, affection and patience xx.”

“A small seating area for café patrons, always at or near capacity so be ready to stand for a while. Swings, slides, rope bridges and last time I checked, a small rock climbing area, moving across rather than up so is safer for little ones. A bit of a trek to get there, past at least 2 other playgrounds in YWP. Included in the ticket price for the play. Double doors so wheelchair and mobility scooter access. Always busy and fun for children x..”

“Just had a party here for my 6 year old boy. I wasn't gonna write a review, because I don't want it to become anything other than it is at the minute by people seeing the review and flooding the place. This place is the BEST soft play I have been to, and trust me I think we have done them all in South Yorskhire and beyond. It is a really nice environment, it is laid out perfect. There is lots of variety and things that I haven't seen at other soft plays like a sledge run and a toboggan. We had a dedicated host called Ellie and she was so kind and helpful. I have been to many parties like this and I have to say this was seamless and stressfree. THANKS Ellie. The food was excellent and the party run without issue. We booked the super hero option and all guests got a mask, balloon and a slush. They also got individual cupcakes and ice cream desserts. My little man got a super hero activity book and a Cape to keep. He also got a pass to go back for free for a month. Wow!! If you want to go to an excellent soft play or somewhere for your kids party, then this is the place. It really is a hidden gem. The owners could do with publicising it better as everyone who came to our party didn't know it exist.”

“After not getting much help.from argos customer services and especially argos card services ( rude and unhelpful).I rang( 31st Dec 2023) this store and spoke to 2 separate members of staff on 2 separare occasions, both young men who were down to earth honest ,friendly polite and a lot more helpful than the above . Told me what I needed to know in mins x straight up good honest service . Big help x”

“I arrived 15mins early for my shopping. Expecting to be turned away only to be greeted by 2 lovely gents. I believe there names were harry and Steve. They were extremely helpful considering I am in a wheelchair. They packed my shopping while also having a laugh with me. Top lads. Can’t thank them enough.”

“Massive thank you, we had our wedding reception here on Friday, staff were amazing and very attentive nothing too much trouble manager was great had everything in control went over and above to make things run smoothly, we choose a three course meal from the menu but gave it them days before to make things easier. We had 32 guests and everyone had chosen what they wanted food was perfect came out hot and together, perfect day and I will certainly recommend thank you”

“Perfect for a stop or a cheap room. Decent size, clean. A little dated but you don't expect much from a Travelodge. Only.tjing was I couldn't plug my phone next to the bed which was a little irritating but nothing I couldn't get over. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to.”
