βMy son attends staff have always been great with him as he is very nervous and has had to have some treatments, receptionists have also always been friendly and helpfulβ
βI would like thank all the Staff on Chesterman 4, the ICU, OCU and all the staff in theatre for the fantastic Heart Bypass they did for me on the 17th November, all the staff are exceptional. I am on the mend now and hopefully see another 20yrs. Thank you staff and the NHS for providing this Timing Belt Change free of charge. Thanks Paul Seniorβ
βAfter just joining this surgery after leaving middleton lodge of 19 yrs, I was expecting to be treated the same which was disrespectful and very uncaring but I was wrong, the doctor i see here Dr Gopi is the most caring pleasant doctor I have ever known, and the reception staff and administrators are absolutely lovely and kind. I am being treated like a human being and I actually feel like someone cares about my health, all I can say is Thank you so far xβ
βGreat staff, always helpful, a pleasure to visit the pharmacy. Thank youβ
βFabulous service, at first it felt a bit onerous to fill in the online referral but it was very user friendly and did help me to focus and be clearer about my symptoms which saved time in the face to face appointment (which I opted for although was given the option of a telephone consultation instead). I was kept quickly up to date regarding my request and telephoned within 2 hours to be offered a same day appointment which was totally satisfactory.β
βI wanted to write a review as a parent, having had a child admitted here last year. I have to admit when I googled the place once I knew it's where my child would be going, the reviews scared me at a time I was already scared. At the time it gave a score of about 2.4/5. I could tell, looking through, that they mostly seemed to have been written by children, but that did nothing to ease my fears or worries. I didn't need to worry though. Right from the first time I pulled in to the car park, the staff were nothing but helpful, kind and considerate. My main experience is of Emerald Lodge. Unlike my experience of a long term stay with my child in a general hospital, it was clear that every member of staff I dealt with here was understanding and empathetic with appropriate awareness of mental illness, and the ability to separate the illness and the child. At their worst, I know my child would say horrible things to the staff, and lash out - entirely caused by the illness, or at least their fight/flight response triggered by it - but the staff continued to treat both my child, and I, with respect, concern and care. Again, this is sadly not the response I experienced after challenging behaviours on a general children's ward, so it was refreshing not to feel judged and like I was responsible for bringing up a disrespectful child. I had to deal with numerous staff over a 4 month period there, and whilst there are some names who will always stick out to me as having gone above and beyond, there is not one person I felt didn't do an amazing job. My experience of the staff at the school there too was also brilliant. Caring people who were happy to talk to me, show me their classrooms, tell me how they'd come up with activities and topics to spark more engagement and interest from my child. I knew I could contact any time, and get an update, even if I'd been there just a few hours before. I knew if it all became too overwhelming, and I ended up a sobbing mess sat on the floor of a corridor, I wouldn't be judged or ignored - someone would make time for me if I wanted it, whether it was to bring me a cuppa and a tissue and give me space, or give me a hug and sit with me. I'm hoping by writing this review I get to help put at least one parent's mind a little more at ease. I know for a fact if my child was the kind to write a review, it too would probably be negative like others on here - but they spent those months there as a child, with a severe illness, away from home, battling their thoughts and being made to follow a routine, including eating, which was something their illness didn't want them to do. Of course they won't say they loved it there. But as a mum, I saw the progress these people helped him make. I saw staff at all levels doing anything they could do engage with him and win his trust. Even now, a good 2 months after discharge, he still uses techniques he was exposed to there, because they helped. He will refer to how certain staff would help him in similar situations (e.g. "we could do what Nick helped me do"). He will randomly comment "I wonder what they're doing at Becton", or remember activities he did there. My child still has a long way to go before he's recovered, if that ever happens, but from the boy who entered Becton, to the boy he was when he left, I just never thought he'd come so far in such a relatively short amount if time. If you're a parent reading this, my heart goes out to you, as I wouldn't wish the illnesses that require going somewhere like here on anyone... but equally, I hope this review helps you feel a little less worried, and gives you some element of hope. I know I will forever be grateful to the people who looked after my son, helped him battle against his illness, and helped him be well enough to come home. I hope with all my heart I never have to go back, but I know if I do, and we receive the level of care we experienced on our first admission, that I can be confident my child is in a place that will help them.β
βFrom booking an appointment to seeing GP or nurse everyone is kind ,caring and professional. I am very happy to be under the care of Staffa health , I feel everyone goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care .β
βI saw Dr Jack Marshall on a recent appointment. It was a very worrying time for me and he was professional kind and reassuring . He referred me quickly to a specialist and I was fully informed of the process. I hope he stays with the practice thank you .β
βAlthough some of these reviews have been scoring this dental clinic low scores. I think thereβs polite staff and itβs a clean dental practice. There is always someone to help and efficient appointments.β
βThe new e-triage system is so helpful if you are a busy person and can't spend ages waiting in phone queues. I submitted my problem and the GP called me back really quickly to discuss and write a prescription. I had a problem with the prescription at the chemist and when I went into the surgery the receptionist was polite and really helpful and the prescription was resent within minutes. I have found the GPs compassionate about my mental health and other problems. A bit hard to get an appointment soon for routine things, but I'll be using the Klinic system in future if I feel I need to book sooner than the available online appointments as it seems like it works well.β
βI have used this practice for 15 years. It has always been good but I now believe it to be excellent. I have never failed to get an appointment on the same day and my experience of the two Nurse Practicioners has been superb as well as Dr Abraham and Dr Mcgroarty. They all listen, take your concerns seriously and deal with them professionally and compassionately.β
βThis GP surgery is superb. Always have time for me, staff are amazing and friendly. I've never had any issues with them. I get appointments when needed and Dr Bell is honestly the best GP I've had in 50 yearsβ

βMy motorbike & partners car were stolen during a burglary. These guys were contracted by SYP to recover & store them.Fantastically nice, helpful people ALL of them from the recovery man out in the middle of the night to the ladies in the office being helpful & supportive throughout ! Yes you do need proof of ownership & I.D etc obviously else anyone could take it & yes you do need to pay if not claiming through insurance. But remember if they hadn't recovered your vehicle there probably wouldn't be anything left !!β
βThe university health service is an incredible service. Every person that I have ever come in contact with has been kind and helpful. Thank you everyone for going above and beyond!β

βI was rushed in Doncaster royal infirmary with prostate, bladder issues, I spent five days there my treatment was excellent. Later I needed an operation on prostate, green Lazer surgery my treatment was exemplary. Now roll on a few months my wife now a dying person was taken to Doncaster royal infirmary. The ambulance service for my wife was no more than, callous indifferent, and deplorable, for a person that was dying. My wife was in hospital for one week before she passed on. THE HOSPITAL DID THEIR BEST for her , last week alive. Now I sat with my wife for the last 37 hours of her life and not once did the hospital offer any form of refreshment, I had to go down 3 flights of stairs to a vending machine. No problem. But what was unpleasant was that when my wife died I went for a nurse who promptly came , saw my wife had died from that moment not one person from the medical profession offered any form of condolence. I was completely ignored. They offered no help whatsoever. I waited for a doctor to confirm my wife's time of death he never came, after waiting a half hour.I had no option but to leave, not very caring.β
βThank you so much to Dr. Rahmat Ali and the nurse for the amazing job they did on my fillings. They really put me at ease. Thank you!β
βI am a 58yr old male, no major health but unfortunately I was admitted into the ASU at Rotherham General Hospital on 24th October 25 with the worst chest/stomach pains that I've ever felt in my entire life, 12 outa 10. The staff there acted quickly and soon took control of my pain as well as successfully locating and diagnosing the problem. Less than 24hrs later I had been into theater and was very comfortably back on the ward. Every single one of the staff there, from the cleaners, caterers and porters right up to the aneathnatis, surgeons and theater staff each took exceptional care of me and I shall be eternally grateful. In as little as 48hrs from admittance I was home in my own bed. Today, 2 weeks after being admitted I am back on two feet and as good as new. These guys are overworked, under paid and unappreciated. Despite the unjust bad reputations they get slammed with they soldier on and why, because the care. To all at Rotherham General Hospital, I applaud you Yours Gratefully Kevin Middletonβ
βI called in on behalf of my father - staff were very busy ....but I was attended to by KRISTY - she couldn't have been more kind or helpful. She checked and advised me ,that with my Father's medication ,to choose a liquid heartburn/indigestion rather than tablets - which contain sodium. One happy shopper, one very grateful recipient of purchase . Thank you againβ
βAlways found this surgery to be good . If your problem is urgent , the act on it . Donβt expect instant appointments if your problem isnβt urgent . Too many people waste Doctors time and should think whether a chemist can give advice instead of using Doctors valuable time up.β
βI have been registered with this practice for over twenty years (Broomlane Medical/Kimberworth Park Medical Center). I can always count on them have always been treated with Courtesy, Respect and promptly that is by all the doctors and receptionalist. They have always met my expectations. DR Kacker is my registered G.P every time I have had a chance to see him always goes up and beyond, in October 2024 I went in for Flue vaccination was so determined and admant not to have Covid 19 injection. He talked me into having both and he was the one injecting the patients . No regrets this winter (touch wood) I have been the fittest. And few weeks ago the hospital advised me to see a GP of my own choice, I said would see any as I knew all the GPs in my surgery would go up and beyond. I was booked in with Dr Kacker again and THANK you doctor for treating me with respect and all the reassurances you gave me. Its difficult to get through (phone) mostly for appointments but it is with most of all the GP around the country. I thank all the doctors at Kimberworth Park Medical Center/ Broom lane Medical Center for the Brilliant work your doing.β
βHelpful staff and always been able to get an appointment when needed, even if it's routine. The new online triage system is really helpful if you can't call due to work etc. Sadly, patients need to be more accepting of GP's limitations now. We are playing into the government's hands by blaming GP surgeries for lack of appointments!β
βI've been with this practice since an infant It's had its ups and down like lost things in life but these past few years they are trying to go above and beyond for their patients Insee doctor Kumar for my arthritis injections and yes always a pleasure to deal with I see doctor Helen for various reasons and she is second to non in terms of care and understanding She's had helped me though some dark times and illness I highly recommend their standards as it stands now and cannot thank them enough The staff, receptionists, nurses and doctors are all there for you In these trying times I believe they're doing their absolute best for their patients and I thank them Keep up the good work Kind regards Dean Qβ
