“If you love wandering round historical buildings, this is definitely of interest to you. A little 'hamlet' of buildings full of amazing 'scythe ' making history. An introduction video, worksheets for children, small exhibition area and then the hamlet, waterwheel, traction engine and reservoir to see. This is a free entry museum, with a suggested donation of £5 - worth every penny. A cafe/restaurant (independent) on site. Parking (no height barrier) and toilets. Really really friendly and informative guides here. Couldn't be more enthusiastic. Also a great guy making sword blades, again, really informative and friendly. Most certainly bringing my 13 yr old grandson here, he'll love it.”

“Lovely place with a variety of animals and a good coffee. dog friendly. Great for a day out. They also do very fun events and workshops so it’s worth checking out what’s on! Also selling plants, manure, eggs etc”

“Surprisingly very large car park. £4.75/day for cans and vans. 5mins walk to Owley Tor 15 mins walk to Milestone Edge. (Best every view from the top of the hill) Evening hours- golden hours would blow your mind. They dont have any bins anywhere near the Peak District National Park. So keep some spare bags to carry the bins and bring them back to car. No toilet facilities available anywhere near the area. At least we haven’t seen one.”

“Recommended to visit by a lady in Costa when I mentioned I needed a new coat. It is a great place and quite big inside with plenty of items to buy. I needed a new winter coat and there was plenty of choice. Also if you sign up with your email address you get 5% back in credit. Really is worth a visit!”

“The National Videogame Museum is a fantastic place to visit, especially if you grew up playing classic games. They have a great collection of old, traditional arcade and console games that instantly bring back childhood memories. It’s a real nostalgia trip and also a lot of fun for anyone new to retro gaming. What I really liked is that there’s no time limit on how long you can stay, so you can take your time exploring and playing as much as you like. Just note they do close briefly for lunch, but it’s easy enough to plan around. The facilities are good too, with toilets available on-site, which makes it convenient if you’re spending a few hours there. Overall, it’s a fun and unique activity for both adults and kids, and I’d happily recommend it for a day out.”

“Just returned from a holiday to Torquay had a lovely 5 days at the Devonshire Hotel .The staff are really friendly with nothing too much trouble, the room was comfortable, clean and warm, and plenty of choice on the menu and the meals are all self service which I prefer. Although the hotel is on a hill the bus stops are right outside the hotel door and across the road .We had Barry excellent driver and a lovely man.”

I booked to go to Drayton Manor yesterday and got my times mixed up but they made sure I made it to the coach. The driver Glyn was absolutely amazing and a real credit to the company. “Julie did a super of putting together a package that was quite complex, given the geographic locations of the members of the holiday group, comprising of people from England and Australia, including a young person, for a week in Dubai. This included people who had never flown before. From initial discussions to the booking, Julie was very good at checking we were happy with how things were being put together. During the week prior to departure, Julie was again in touch to make sure we were happy with arrangements. I would wholeheartedly recommend people use Julie as their travel agent, it is good to know that there is an independent travel agent in our locality who understands the needs of a diverse range of people. “Absolutely amazing experience and holiday organised through Daniel. We have recently come back from a week in New York, he organised the flights, transfer and hotel for us which all ran smoothly, he picked an amazing hotel, great location and it couldn’t have been better! I will be using Daniel again and telling all my friends/family about his great service! The price was great value and If I was to go though a typical holiday website it was double the price to what Daniel found so this was great! I was updated every step of the way and was able to contact Daniel if needed which was reassuring (however not needed due to great organisation). A week prior to the trip all the information was posted to myself including luggage tags which was a nice touch! I can’t thank Daniel enough and I can’t wait to book my next trip/holiday through him!
