“Excellent Italian restaurant over two floors, both rooms quite small. Very good service and delicious food; between us we tried several seafood pasta dishes, and a Caprese starter (which oddly had rocket instead of Basil, but was still very tasty). Good value wines and friendly and relaxed service.”

“I recently arranged a work Christmas meal for a large group of staff, and the entire experience was exceptional. The meal was absolutely stunning, and the service was flawless. Every member of the team was polite, courteous and professional throughout. A special thanks to Sam, the General Manager, who ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I’d also like to highlight the brilliant idea of using place cards with names and personal menu choices — this made the delivery of each dish incredibly efficient. “What a stunning place this is. The decor is tasteful, subtly lit, but not too dark. The staff were attentive and not in your face at all (very much appreciated). Our large group ordered a variety of things from the menu, but we all received our food at the same time. I ordered the red Thai curry, which was unbelievably nice. I'll definitely order it again on our return. All in all a very good experience and somewhere we'd definitely recommend and definitely visit again.. Sean.”

“Needed a hotel in Sheffield for two nights while I came down to purchase a new car. This hotel is in a great location, shops, food places and so much more all within walking distance. I was able to walk to it easily from Sheffield station. Staff at reception are very polite, professional and helped with any questions I had. Booked me taxis when required with no hassle. Room was big and exactly what I booked. Would be good if TVs had Netflix etc but wasn’t a huge deal. Beds EXTREMELY comfortable and had a great two nights sleep. Highly recommend the leonardo hotel”

“This place deserves 5 stars regardless but today they went above and beyond. Waited half an hour for my order so went to check up on it and found out their till hadn't flagged it up. They immediately offered me anything off the menu for free as well as my food because of my wait but I declined because it wasn't their fault. When they brought my food they had given me extra fries and then offered to refund my order. Incredible food backed up by really kind and generous staff! Can't recommend this place enough!”

“A slice of Naples in Sheffield! Colorful place, welcoming staff and delicious pizza and starters. High quality ingredientes, customised recipes and high hydrated dough make Napoli Centro pizza the best I have ever eaten in UK (and even much better than many I tried in Italy). Well done!”

We ordered: Starters - Tzakziki, Hummus (both come with traditional Iranian bread) & Dolmeh Mains - Chenjeh (with skin on fries to share) & Spring Chicken (with Zeresk Polo Rice to share) Recommend saving some of the dips from the starter to enjoy with your mains! We went just after Sheffield Wednesday finished their game (it is next to Hillsborough Stadium), but found no issue with transport as it is close to the tram stop. Overall, a great experience!”

The whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. ​The restaurant itself is incredibly cosy, and the entire team was just amazing and attentive. A huge shoutout to Joss, who was absolutely brilliant! Due to a last-minute business trip to Sheffield, we needed a table, and he went above and beyond to fit us in and was so helpful in explaining the menu. ​The food quality truly blew me away. Everything tasted superb, proving the dedication to using fantastic quality local produce. “Lovely little real ale 'homemade' gem of a pub.. Apparently built and owned by the guy who runs it - and his dedication shows in bundles. There's a popular quiz night, very well kept beers, a cosy quirky decor and it's dog friendly.. It's not very big though so it can be a bit of a squeeze when it's busy. A couple of small steps and quite a tight doorway entrance, but possible to get a wheelchair in with some assistance + it's not open every day so check the times before setting off. You won't be disappointed!”

“This was a recommendation from a friend and it was worth the hour and a half drive! The story I was told was that the chef was a Michelin star chef working in London, who was sick of the rat race and relocated to Matlock in Derbyshire. My partner and I opted for the 7 course taster menu and what a sensation that was. EVERY dish was an explosion in the mouth of complimentary flavours and textures. With the appetisers, the sour dough bread and the mous bouches , it turned out to be almost 10 courses. Just look at the photos! Unbelievable! The location is beautiful too. The outside terrace overlooks the river and the sounds of the water creates at truly romantic setting. The staff were excellent too and I’m surprised that Stones doesn’t already have a Michelin star! Out of this world and I would recommend everyone that likes food to try it! @ £80 per person, it is an absolute bargain. For food like this you would pay double that in London!”

“A hidden little gem of a place ... We've driven past this place many a times on our way to town - not thinking much of it.. it's a shame we didn't try it sooner! Food: Fantastically tasty food, which was prompt and well presented. On the first visit, there was a substitute on my tagliatelle - but this is because it's all made fresh that day and we arrived one hour before closing. Tried a few different starters/sharing plates, both were beautiful and (as much as I know) tasted authentic. Each following visit has been equally beautiful food. Service: First time, we arrived an hour before closing (cause... Yolo and we were hungry) and they were still very welcoming and accommodating. We still weren't rushed to order out food, even with the time. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. On following visits, everyone has been beyond lovely on each visit ... Atmosphere: Decorated with little touches of Sicily - it has a nice ambience for the type of food and cuisine served. It can get a little loud, with the size of the room, but nothing to stop you visiting this beautiful little gem. Would definitely recommend and will continue to return.”

“Had food here. It was so good. Like really really good. I had the pizza and my partner had pie and mash. Portions were fair and the food was really good quality and fresh. No honestly it was, the pizza was amazing I really do recommend checking it out. They do vegan and gluten free options and the staff are really sweet and helpful too. The chips are so tasty. I am still thinking about them 50 minutes later. Dog friendly also.”

“A wonderful local cafe with vegan and veggie options. Even have gluten free available. You can even do takeout whixh it a godsend if like me you never get free time! Even has a little handmade shop section where you can buy some locally made gifts and a book shop/swap system! Very cool!”

“I found this place by chance as I was visiting an art exhibition there, so stopped for a pint and to sit by the canal which was rather pleasant! Friendly people, seemed to have a good following with some local regulars present. A good spot for a summer evening drink and not to far from town. Easy to park the other side of the canal. Will visit here again and would like to explore the area a bit more!”

“If you want a great meat dish and have money to spare, this restaurant could be a good choice. We ordered nachos as a starter and asked for extra brisket on top. It was a very good choice. The main course was truly legendary. The meat was cooked to perfection and was very juicy. Unfortunately, the desserts were weak, but we can overlook that :)”
