“Can’t comment on the hotel but just had Sunday lunch, we got the platter for 2 and the portion is amazing! Could have easily fed 3 people. Beef was a little too well done for me (that’s just personal preference) but they’ll chicken was well seasoned and the pork belly melted in your mouth! Amazing service from Simon and the team! Always happy to help and nothings too much trouble!”

There were only 2 members of staff, and they were rushed off their feet, but still did a fantastic job. The place was clean/tidy and well kept, and the food was amazing and a reasonable price too. “I took my 3 grandkids to Shepherds Place Farm today and they thoroughly enjoyed it. They have a play area in the cafe suitable for all ages, animal feeding and holding. Staff are lovely and friendly. Very reasonably priced. Very clean and animals well looked after. Definitely recommend a visit if you have young children. Thank you for a lovely day out.”

“Deep fried chicken wing starter would not recommend. Fried till all the chicken gone. Steak was really well cooked fresh. Chips were a bit dry but not the worst. Other than the chicken wings food quite nice. Loads of space to either eat or just hang out and have a pint. Staff friendly promoting a nice welcoming atmosphere. Spacious if visiting with family.”
