“10 of us ladies arrived no booking but it was no trouble for them at all, unlike a nearby empty pub that couldn’t take us? Food was amazing staff were full of fun and helpful beautiful toilet a great atmosphere we will be back”
“So lucky to have such a wonderful place that we can walk to for coffee, lunch or a sweet treat. My favourite place for coffee. Small menu but it is well made, fresh and tasty.”
“A gem of a café. Hidden away on an enterprise estate, seek it out as the food is exactly what you hope to find for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Only one smashed avo item on the menu but plenty of bacon, sausages, eggs, cheese, beans and delicious granary toast. Staff are friendly and chatty creating a lovely atmosphere.”
“Great little find in Romsey. The food was good quality and tasty, lots of options and the cafe seems to cater well for Vegetarians, Vegans and GF. Kids options were a good size, and you can't beat bottomless tea for £1 in 2025!”
“Really nice visit. Great service and tasty food. We will be back.Highly recommended.”
“Great breakfast, everything served nice and hot. Staff are friendly and chatty. What a great place to come. Would recommend to anyone.”
“Nice little community cafe, serving well cooked British food. It is around the back of the building so don't be put off that it looks closed from the front. Lots of free car parking.”
“Great breakfast, food was cooked beautifully. Had two veggie breakfasts, mint tea and Avo GO Go smoothie, highly recommend.”
“Really good choice of all day breakfasts and different specials. Delicious freshly squeezed orange juice too.”
“They do a great breakfast, can't complain”
“Hursley Cafe is definitely the café we’ve visited the most since moving to Southampton. With its great value for money, we find ourselves coming here almost every Sunday. This is a record of our visit two weeks ago, after our eldest daughter and her friend finished rugby practice in Eastleigh. We ordered Egg Royale, Lasagne, a Kids’ Meal, Mocha, and Hot Chocolate. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were generous. This café gets extremely busy on Sunday mornings, so we highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation to avoid long waiting times.”
“Thanks to chef Andy and the whole team at High Tides for another top notch supper club. The food is always highly original, delicious and very unique with obviously lots of passion and creativity gone into producing the supper club evenings. Absolutely superb.”
“A cute but very small tearooms. Would definitely recommend booking a table. We sat upstairs (very steep stairs) The staff were friendly. We had the afternoon tea and it was delicious (they catered for our needs on the sandwiches) the scones were massive and yummy! We couldn't eat the cake as stuffed so that came home with us! Loved the way things were served in teacups Will definitely be back again”
“Located in a quite spot, this place has its own parking so no hassles when you arrive. The menu options are well laid, with table service as standard. The staff is really helpful and polite. I visited with family and was pleasantly surprised that nothing we asked for was too much for them - baby chair, veg options, or tweaking the sandwich that little bit extra. Other than the excellent food, there is a charity hut at the rear garden. You can contribute at the main desk when you come in to the cafe.”
“Brewed Awakening is a hidden gem! The spicy chicken noodle soup is one of Southampton's best kept secrets! Service is always speedy and with a smile. There's some seating upstairs too. Would definitely recommend for a lunchtime”
“Fantastic spot for a morning coffee! We visited on a Saturday morning, easy parking outside and dogs are welcome. Great selection of drinks, cakes and breakfast options. Cater for gluten and dairy free - vegan blackcurrant crumble was delicious! They also do gelato which we will be back to try.”
“Staff 10/10. They are amazing. Me and my brother and I have been here a few days a week the past fortnite, and I can honestly say that the staff make this place what it is! WARNING! THE SAUSAGE ROLLS ARE HEAVILY ADDICTIVE but they run out, so get there extra early as we do! I will return here as much as I can. I'd rather put my hard earned cash here over anywhere else locally!”
“Lovey homemade cakes and good coffee. A nice quiet little place to escape to for a coffee when in West End.”
“Fantastic find after walking in the gardens. great cosy atmosphere, friendly service and amazing prices - thought we had been under-charged! Dog friendly, and loved mooching through the antiques and vintage clothes afterwards! Will be back next time we are in Salisbury.”
“Large cafe with plenty of seating, very attentive staff and food came out quickly. Plenty of options of breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner as well as specials and cakes available. Good portion sizes and the food we ordered was tasty. Definitely would come back again.”
“We dropped in for coffee and stayed for lunch! Our first visit to this lovely cafe but it definitely won't be our last. We arrived just as the morning rush was finishing so we had a choice of tables, our food was cooked fresh (but even so, with minimal delay) and was just how we like it. Excellent to see a good range of healthy options as well as the standard cafe fare, and the prices are reasonable, especially for a prime location. The picture shows my Eggs Royale - the portion size is two of these but I'd eaten one before I remembered to take a picture!”
“The breakfast is Amazing, Ozay will take time to greet you and check if everything is OK. I will definitely go back to this restaurant with my family. There is also a lovely lady who served us, a big shout out to her, she was so friendly and shared some recommendations to try next time we visit.”
“What a gem to find on a wet Saturday afternoon. All the ladies at the back of the counter were superb matched only by the tasty pastries. Should we visit Winchester again (and we hope to do so) we will visit again and would advise anybody else to. 5* +++ thankyou”
“Lovely little cafe. We sought refuge from the rain here and got a hot drink. The hot chocolates we ordered were lovely, and the service was also great. Very friendly bunch working here. Didn’t get a chance to try food here as we had already had lunch but the food menu looked good and the cakes also looked very appealing. Also bought some jars of locally made jams here as gifts.”
“Love this cafe. Great staff, tasty food, hot drinks and all local too”
“Huge sweet potato toast,i liked it a lot. Good size of cup of coffee. Nice place, just location-couldn't find carpark near.”
“Found this little gem - and didn't expect to find this view on my way out of Totton! Small fishing lodge cafe sitting amidst 3 lakes and beautiful views. Service staff were lovely and attentive; happy to chat but not disturbing at all. Wide variety of milkshakes to choose from, after a lovely Full English Breakfast. Will definitely come back.”
“Great staff members, very welcoming and helpful with the menu. Food was great, tasted good and big portions. Prices were fair as well! Highly recommended stop!”
“Very tasty and pleasant meal! Every dish we ordered was wonderful (especially the dirty fries!!). The lemon cheesecake and honeycomb cheese cake is by far the best I’ve ever had! It’s definitely worth walking a little further up the high street.”
“I have been here a number of times and it is always excellent. Friendly arrive, great food that arrives in good time. Lots of choices - both on the menu and daily specials on blackboards.”
