“Forgot to take photos of everything that we ate because they were gone in seconds. We enjoyed every bite. Everything was so nice - coffee, English breakfast, burger, cake! We stayed in the farm lodges for a couple of nights and the cafe is the best part of this farm for us - Charlie, the manager and the staff are all amazing. Thank you, Charlie for such a warm welcome. Thank you for all the cuddles you gave our dog - also a Charlie :)”

“Had the Gingerbread Latte as part of their Christmas menu and it was delicious. The two little gingerbread men were an amazing touch! The staff were incredibly friendly and my drink was made quickly. Would recommend for a nice quiet spot to sit and relax”

“Wonderfully decorated! Lovely plants and decor to feel extra cosy. Went for a Sunday morning coffee with a friend and we were warmly welcomed and had the sofa to ourselves. A good selection of goodies! Nice quiet atmosphere with some background music and a couple lit candles. They have outdoor seating too!”

“Sitting in conservatory, was very comfortable. We just had cappuccino and cake then later pot of tea and chocolate tiffin. It was very nice. Staff were excellent, carrying a tray of tea/cake for me and clearing table when needed.”

“Wonderful menu of healthy options as well as delicious bakery items and hot food. Highly recommend the granola bowl - looks beautiful and tastes great. Generous portions! Dog friendly also. We had our two pups dine with us indoors. Quite small so there are limited tables indoors but we were able to sit as a table of six as we arrived at opening.”

“The place to go for coffee in Portwood. Certainly the best coffee, staff are very busy but do a good job. I guess the food is standard for this chain. I'm fond of the almond croissant and my granddaughter loves the rocky road. Always a buzzy atmosphere in my experience.”

“I Highly Recommend Edison’s!!! We tried the iced coffee and another drink at Edison’s, and both were absolutely delicious. But the real standout was the Dubai chocolate pancake, it was out of this world! Rich, indulgent, and perfectly made. The atmosphere was amazing and welcoming, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the overall vibe was amazing. This place truly feels like a hidden gem in Southampton. The only areas of feedback I'd give is that it could always do with more seating, and the front doors are incredibly heavy, meaning the shop isn't always accessible (saw several older ladies struggle, and those in wheelchairs also struggle).”

“My son is autistic and wanted a chocolate fudge frappe but they explained they couldn't make frappes because hey didnt have the powder ut instead made him a milk shake type thing with oat milk and chocolate powder and ice. Very accommodating and I didn't have a son who was having a melt down. Thank you”

They really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, remembering your order and name as a regular customer.
