“Some of the best food I've eaten at a Restaurant. Give this place a Michelin star already! Incredibly tasty Scallops, Seafood curry and a 'Winchester Pudding' which was a lovely local touch and paired perfectly with the accompanying clotted cream. Yes, it's expensive but it's worth every penny. Special mention goes out to Ali Ali, our excellent waiter.”

“I ordered a house special chow mein and BBQ salt chilli spare ribs. They were both really amazing and the portion sizes were great. The staff were friendly and the place very clean and tidy. The only draw back is a minimum £15 spend if paying by credit or debit card.”

“Went for a saturday night family dinner. Walked in rather than booking a table due to other plans falling through- would definitely recommend! Staff were accommodating and lovely, with good service. We had 4 different dishes and they were all to a good standard, a little more expensive than other pubs in the area but the food matched this. Lots of decent vegetarian/vegan options that have clearly been thought out rather than being an afterthought, very impressed. I had the risotto which was delicious. The only downside was one of our wineglasses had a lipstick stain on it, but everything else was clean and I imagine this is not a regular occurrence. The pub is also dog friendly, including some tables in the restaurant area. Lots of parking. We will definitely be returning!”

“Fantastic time at The Olive Tree! We booked to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. The communication from the start was easy through the booking system. On the evening the table was ready when we got there, service was impeccable and food was delicious We pre ordered our food and everything came out at just the right speed, food was hot and everyone enjoyed their meals We took our own cake for desert and the staff brought this out All in all I would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. “Extremely impressed. Stopped in quickly on our way through Totton. Food was cooked and served within the 10-15 minutes promised. Set meal D for 2 for £20.80 was a dealious bargain. Loads of food which eventually served 3 adults and a child. So very happy with that. Everything was cooked to perfection and fresh. The best Chinese we have had for years. Will try and find any excuse to pass that way again soon for another treat. Just wish I lived closer. The kitchen is on view in the takeaway, and all is very clean. 5 star hygiene certified. I would suggest just pop in, order and takeaway.”

“After a lovely two days in Bournemouth, we were heading back to the midlands on a 4.5 hour journey, but needed to eat so we could survive the loooong journey home. I read the reviews and we popped in for our dinner. So happy we did. It was just what we needed to give us the kick start. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, great portions and very reasonable prices. My hubby and eldest had the buffet for £19:99 and me and my youngest had paneer tikka, chicken Peshawari. The chef was so kind he made us some special tea with spices to help us with our long journey. Staff were professional, helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this lovely place. “Went in with family today, the staff were fantastic, super helpful, hot on allergies, allowed me to eat my own food, because like so may restaurants now they use rapeseed oil, which I am allergic to. The rest of my family loved the food, my husband said his burger was one of the best he has tasted. The place has a great atmosphere, despite the very noisy and busy West Quay shopping centre, this was a very relaxing and enjoyable lunch break. The wheelchair access is great, no having to ask people to move, which was fabulous. Can't fault the staff or the food, would recommend this place to anyone. And the fact that I could eat my own food, rather than just sit with my coffee and watch everyone else eat, was absolutely brilliant. It would be better if food places throughout the country stopped using rapeseed oil and vegetable oil, and started using animal fats to cook with, then those of us with allergies could enjoy eating out like everyone else.”

“I was passing this take away last 25 years but never tried the food. Last sunday i went with my wife and daughter to get something for Dinner. The food was so nice not too oily and owner and the staff very very polite and friendly . Definitely we will go again .”
