“We were looking for a carvery and was recommended The Forge by a friend. First time here and they did not disappoint! The meats and veg were lovely, generous portions and cooked well. The puddings were astounding, I had the brownie and ice cream, it was unreal! Just look at that presentation, it made me say "wow" when the waitress brought it over. We had 2 drinks 2 meals and 2 puddings all for £37, I think that's an insanely good price! The atmosphere was really nice as well, we had a great night, thanks! 5/5* would 100% recommend!”

The food was excellent and really delicious. I ordered the railway lamb which was recommended and it didn’t disappoint. Keema naan had all the flavour you could hope for and the aloo gobi had a brilliant blend of spices. Just delicious. Really is a delightful restaurant at a fair price. “Workers were extremely polite and patient while I decided what I wanted of their extensive menu, I decided on the burger after much deliberation and this was a feast for my taste buds let me tell you, I’ve come to expect little from a burger from a chip shop but this has blown any other chip shop burger into sheer irrelevance for me.the pickled egg i also purchased was by far the best I have come across in my 16 years of life, only to be described as Pickled to perfection.
