“We had a brilliant evening at The Go-Ape Sundown Adventure! The Treetop adventure plus trail was lit up in the dark which made it all the more exciting! The staff were friendly and helpful, We would recommend Go Ape day or night and we look forward to coming again!”
“A wonderful day out. Not over commercialized and the 2 shows were excellent. Cafe basic but yummy food and staff friendly. Only down side is cost of experience days and adoption which are quite expensive. We can adopt a donkey for £24 but an owl starts at £40 and experiences at £90 for an adult.”
“Amazing!! Went for the illumination Xmas trip. Absolutely amazing. Loved the flashy- oke!! Definitely put us in the christmas spirit.”
“Great breakfast, food was cooked beautifully. Had two veggie breakfasts, mint tea and Avo GO Go smoothie, highly recommend.”
“Great place for the kids. Went with a toddler and plenty to do and enjoy. Was very clean and everything looked extremely well kept. Animals were happy, selection of animals inside and out. Inside and outside play areas so would be good in all weathers. Didn’t go in the soft play as the weather was lovely but this also looked great. We went in March so was quiet and brilliant that we got to use everything without any waits. Meant we didn’t have to book either but it is slightly cheaper buying online, £1. Also very good that there were no extra charges for some of the play equipment unlike some park farms. Shop and cafe and plenty of parking.”
“A beautiful forest park, perfect for walking and enjoying nature, with breathtaking scenery including a lake and benches for resting and sitting. Along the way, there are signposts to help you find your way, and the park also features interesting historical landmarks. It’s advisable to bring your own water, as there are no shops available.”
“LG did a theatre tour and the watched a production. Amazing. We have also been to many other productions too. All fab. I have to park further away than the nearest car park as the closest one has a height restriction of 186cm so my car doesn't quite fit. Just something to bear in mind.”
“- Delicious fresh food - Probably the best staff you will find anywhere who walked us through all the food we ordered and gave us options to remove certain ingredients if it doesn't suit us”
“What a lovely place. Not recommended for elderly, pregnant, less-abled though. The walk up does have some steps, but there's a lot of slippery chalk to contend with going up or down the hill. Only been once so maybe there's others ways/paths but we went up 1 way and down another and both slippery in Autumn. Great views at the top. Nice little woods for kids to play hide and seek in. Will definitely visit again.”
“Awesome experience, took 2 family's with us to paultons and rode the most exquisite roller coasters. It was a bit sad that Cobra and the edge were closed but hopefully on our next trip they will be back or even a new ride. The thrill of storm chaser and the cylonator was amazing and the food was fabulous!”
“Excellent trail, there are a lot of options and not much elevation, would say good for beginner hikers and children. In a nice day there are some small streams where you can dip your feet, take children and have a picnic, in one word wholesome. Nice horses, cows and donkeys everywhere ❤️”
“A wonderful full on experience. I chose the KF Fish wings as my starter. This chef must be mad to come up with the idea of fish wings KFC style. It’s so hard to eat without getting frustrated by a bone here or there; but it is soooo worth it. A totally tasty, barking mad, delicious starter. Being a Friday I followed by posh fish n chips. It’s just what to expect from an excellent restaurant. Spot on. To finish Rasberry soufflé. An amazing and incredible desert. It’s a must visit restaurant.”
“Really good choice of all day breakfasts and different specials. Delicious freshly squeezed orange juice too.”
“Our first time visiting fusion noodle. The restaurant was really neat, clean and welcoming. The menu had a lovely range of food. We chose noodle dishes with three other dishes that we shared. The food was delicious. Service was great and the food arrived hot and we didn’t wait long for it. The BBQ ribs blew all the ribs I’ve had before out of the water, seriously great. This is the meal I will remember for a long time, I can’t wait to go back.”
“This is by far the best Restaurant we have been to for a very long time the host Max was fantastic his hospitality was 2nd to none his partner Karen was absolutely brilliant the food was also fantastic. The whe evening spent with friends was amazing.”
“I absolutely love it here. Been 3 times already. Vegan options are incredible. Food is really tasty. Really great location too as theres loads of parking right next door. Staff are really friendly. Great great pub.”
“This is a large area of managed wetlands with drainage channels throughout. There is a single path, fenced off from the meadows that joins Salisbury centre to Harnham Mill. There are some good but distant views of the cathedral, and a few signs referring to Constable, who may have painted neer here.”
“Wow. Had never been before and went off a trusted friend's recommendation. We had the most lovely evening. They were so accommodating of the fact im in a wheelchair; the restaurant is accessible (however the bathrooms are a little trickier! Thankfully I can walk a little though so it was no issue) My first impression was how homely and welcoming the place was. Then I noticed the cleanliness! Everything was immaculate and looked brand new! We were greeted in and welcomed warmly. The ambience was perfect and the background music was beautiful. Each course came out and was absolutely superb. The starters were actually some of the best food I've ever eaten - we had scallops, duck mousse and the snails - all perfectly cooked and seasoned with the perfect accompaniments. As we sat, enjoying our meal, the restaurant busied and the staff gave the same amount of warmth and service to everyone - greeting many customers like old friends (we assume this means they get a lot of repeat customers!) My husband ordered the cheese board and we were delighted when an entire platter, with an array of cheese was brought out. The waiter asked my husband his taste in cheese and then proceeded to recommend cheeses he thought would be right. He went through the board with such knowledge of the various cheeses and was spot on with every single one he suggested: my husband loved them all! The bathrooms were the cleanest public bathrooms I've ever been in! And this is gonna sound absolutely crazy but it's the first toilet I've ever been to that has really decent toilet roll!! I've stayed in 5 star hotels around the world and never rate the toilet roll but for some of us, well, it's important OK!! There was no pretentiousness and people were dressed in an array of clothing - from smart casual, to a little dressier; so you only need dress up if you feel you want to (we did!) The bill, although a little eye watering, was worth the price completely. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The portions sizes were more generous than we had expected and we left after 3 courses from their set menu feeling full and very happy! We will 100% be back and highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys fine dining, in comfortable surroundings with all the warmth and personality that you'd expect from an independent family run business.”
“We went for dinner and as a vegetarian there was plenty of options, I had bibimbab which was full of flavour and delicious. My partner had beef bulgogi rice which he enjoyed. The staff were friendly and the restaurant is lovely. Thank you. :)”
“Hill with beautiful view on surrounding area. Short walk from public car park to top”
“Located in a quite spot, this place has its own parking so no hassles when you arrive. The menu options are well laid, with table service as standard. The staff is really helpful and polite. I visited with family and was pleasantly surprised that nothing we asked for was too much for them - baby chair, veg options, or tweaking the sandwich that little bit extra. Other than the excellent food, there is a charity hut at the rear garden. You can contribute at the main desk when you come in to the cafe.”
“U3A meeting at the Lights foyer with a group of friends. It was just a get together for coffee and a chat. The had a free choral concert at the same time.”
“A lovely deer sanctuary. We headed here for a short walk and to hopefully see some deer. There was no deer by the deer platform, but we did spot some in the fields near the paths. There's plenty of paths, including some decent, stony ones. There's plenty of space in the carpark and toilets. There's also lots of grass for children to run around on and build dens.”
“Lovely park over looking Southampton water, lots to do for family's, large areas to have picnics, a lovely woodland walk too, well worth visiting in the spring when there are bluebells on show. Lovely area where there's a tea room too”
“This is a diamond hiding in plain sight! A perfect cozy and comfortable restaurant. Food is just right with lots of flavour and variety. Staff are welcoming and friendly with right right amount of interaction and interest. I've eaten here a few times now and have not been disappointed. Outdoor, covered eating space or roomy warm interior. Many drink options to choose from ales, cocktails, spirits and wine. For a privately owned and run local restaurant this is somewhere I would always recommend and when possible (as not local) eat at.”
“What a great place! Very friendly staff, lots to do! We fed baby goats, calves, held chicks, it was fantastic! If you love feeding animals then this is the place for you! We also went on a tractor ride and me and my kids couldn’t stop laughing on it! It was a bumpy ride but one of the best tractor rides we have been on! If you then want your kids to let off some steam there is a huge play area with trampolines and a zip line! There is also a larger (cycle) go cart area as well as a smaller mini tractor area so it’s not just for little kids. There were donkeys ducks horses and the sweetest little piglets ever - so pleased we went as this is a gem!”
“What incredible service. We went in for our daughter’s 13th birthday party. 10 kids two adults and the staff were incredible! I have been to a lot places but it’s been a very long time since I have had service like we received this evening. Management you should be proud of the guys you have there. If you want good food, reasonable price and an absolute bargain with Tesco vouchers then head here. Thanks again”
“Honestly this was such a pleasant suprise and so refreshing in the quality of food and drinks available. I was not just surprised at the variety of options in both food and drink, but the quality and flavours of everything. There was not one dish of drink that I didn't not enjoy. Commendations to the owners and the those that creators of the masterpieces. I am proud to say that I stopped taking pictures in between as I chose to savour the flavours. Highly highly recommend.”
“Brilliant, the fish are lovely and loads of birds roaming around, even a sloth in the trees”
“What a beautiful place to stay or have a picnic or just to cycle/walk through. Beautiful lakes and cute ducklings. Some adult ones may be aggressive and bite if you go too close.”
