“The lady taking the order was nice. The food came out quickly and was good. As an American visiting the UK for the 4th time I was used to my fiancé getting us Chinese at a different place, but it was closed for their holiday. So I don't have alot to compare to as Chinese is a bit different in the US. The other place my fiancé goes I do like a little better. But this place was still good. The atmosphere is hard to rate as it is not an eat in place. But it is very stark and sterile on the inside. Not much decoration or color.”

“Had a takeaway delivered last night to Fair Oak whilst visiting my mother. Have been ordering from these folks for probably over 10 years. Without doubt he best takeaway I've ever eaten from. Food gas always been to quality and far better than any other. I've lived in Complain, Wickham, Waterlooville as well as Chichester and nothing has ever been as good. Outstanding best takeaway curry ever.”

“Great food and service with a 2 for £30 deal. There was a good choice with steak, burgers and other options. We were told clearly what was in the deal and served quickly. The drinks came quickly and the food took around 20 minutes to arrive. We had starters and main courses and all was cooked perfectly. The portions were filling and I'd never tasted such tender rump steak. Not at all fatty. The surf and turf burger with the King Prawns and proper grilled beef burger was also full of flavour. I wish there was a Beefeater like this nearer to where we usually live.”

“We are from Southampton but we are rather will travel to the Romsey Rapids swimming pool when spent our time in west quay swimming pool, because it's small and there's nothing what to do .My daughter loves to go to the Romsey rapid sport complex. There is so fun and so much what to do . We were impressed with the big slide. It is worth to go there.”

A really interesting range of puzzles which allowed both of us to shine at different points, and the hosts were really lovely individuals who have worked so hard to make this what it is. “We came to Beefys last weekend for afternoon tea, which is the third time we’ve done so. Each one has been amazing - the food is delicious and beautifully presented, service is great with regular checks to see if you’d like more tea or coffee. This time we were served by Magdalena who went above and beyond, giving us a warm welcome and being very kind and attentive to our table throughout our visit. As it was my birthday, she brought me a complementary gift as a birthday treat which I thought was a really lovely gesture. She really made our visit special and did her best to make sure we had everything we needed - brilliant service and would very highly recommend afternoon tea at Beefys!”

“This was my first time visiting the restaurant and from the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The vibe was great, the food was absolutely lovely, and everything was well presented and full of flavour. The staff were genuinely helpful, attentive, and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They took the time to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after throughout our visit. If you haven’t been here before, I would definitely recommend giving it a try. It was a very pleasant experience overall and I look forward to visiting again.”

“Some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. The burger was amazing. They didn’t have a lot of chicken burger choices as it was mainly beef for the burgers even though they were happy to swap out for chicken. I got the Sando and was very happy with my choice. Chicken was the perfect amount of crispy and the sauce and coleslaw weren’t overpowering. We also ordered the fried pickles and jalapeños with mozzarella sticks as a starter which was ok, nothing to write home about. A tray of chicken called ‘the whole coup’ which had some of the best fried chicken I have had. The tenders and wings in the tray were decent, would have preferred the tenders to be crispier. Finally, we had to get a side of buffalo wings with fries. The buffalo wings were great, some of the best I've had. Service was excellent and very helpful.”

“We had a learning how to make Sushi class at yo sushi In West quay in Southampton for my friends birthday. It was brilliant and I loved it. It lasted 1 hour 40 mins. We had food and drink at no extra cost. We made our own sushi to take home, which is not easy but was so much fun. It was £29:95 per person and totally worth it.. We had a man called Simon did ours last Saturday and he was so lovely and listened to all our questions and is very good at his job. He also taught us the way to cut the salmon and about the knifes. In the photos you can see what I did and took home. The only thing I would change would be to make one with salmon, not crab as it's very strong smell and harder to make. I think you pay enough to be able to make salmon sushi. It's also a favourite of mine so disappointed to not have made it.”

“Food is of excellent quality, brilliant value for money, refillable drink for only £3.50 What make this place superior to other world buffet is the staff, nothing to much trouble attentive yet not intrusive, massive respect for their elders. Taken grandchild of four month right to parents in mid 80s. All came away saying that they look forward to going again”

“Well i must say. One off the best place's to have an athletic Indian meal. Took a bit off time to come out. But it was all cooked to order so was 100% worth waiting for. I would rather them take the time to cook fresh and it turn up nice and hot. We have had so many in the past from all over the uk. They just seem to be losing their way. But this restaurant is bang on. Just had our retroworkshops Christmas meal there. Was fantastic. And unlike all the other Indian restaurants around. The prices are fantastic. And all top quality. Please keep up the good work. And don't put the prices up.”

“Great place for a midnight curry on the way out from town! Turns out it's a Southampton tradition!! Great food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Basic on the inside but made up for by the food, staff and atmosphere. Highly recommended!”

“Surprised at the negative reviews. 1st time ordering here and got shish chicken with salad and large chips. We thoroughly enjoyed it compared to where we normally go in Portsmouth road opposite the cemetery. We had bigger portions of chips chicken and salad than we normally get and tasted good.We return again.”

“Two years from my previous 5 star review and there is no change. In truth, my service from LV car insurance is even better. I have been unfortunate to have had two accidents in this time. Both were not my fault but one had to be claimed against my policy because the other party gave me incorrect details of his name and insurance details. LV were simply brilliant and the renewal price quoted to me was very reasonable. To quote the song they are 'Simply the Best'.”
