βOur stay was delightful. We had a fantastic time in Buxton. The location of the guesthouse was excellent, easily walkable to everywhere and across from a gorgeous park. Very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection and freshly prepared. The service was smooth and professional, all the staff were so efficient and friendly. The room was large and comfortable, very clean with good beds.β
βSuperb and imaginative food, the service was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit as the taste sensation excelled our expectations.β
βWell!! What can we say, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were given excellent service. Debbie really understood what we were asking for and had huge amounts of advice and dresses to try. Debbie was so helpful and really listened to my daughters requests. What an amazing little find completely recommend this company. Dresses were reasonable priced and great selection. Canβt recommend prom dressing room enough xxβ
βA great pub. Great food and drink. Landlord is a gentleman and his wife a fantastic cook. I always have the gammon washed down with a few beers. Menu is varied, TVs not too intrusive and a good selection of drinks including the local gin. Take plenty of cash as they do not take cards. (they now take cards, still a fantastic pub:) I would travel to visit this pub but am lucky enough to live 2 mins away!β
βA beautiful place to stay with a host in Simon who makes the experience of staying even better. The location is perfect for visits to Stoke on Trent and there are a host of great local pubs to eat at within 20 minutes. Breakfast was ideal and would recommend the oatcakes! Would love to stay again.β
βReally impressed with this store. Quality branded goods at reasonable prices and just about everything you are likely to need from DIY to replacement household items, gardening and even automotive related goods. Clean and well lit environment and well laid out stock. Quality branded tools worthy of a specialist engineers merchants. Well done, I'm really impressed. Shows what can be done if traders do their jobs properly and shoppers support local businesses and shun the B&Q's of this World. Buy local and reap the benefits!β

βphone this morning for gravel and membrane and spoke to ian who suggested i by in bulk instead of bags which was a big saving and the best membrane to by. delivery was about 3hrs from my call by Danian and after a bit of manuvering dropped the gravel within inches of the job saving me having to shift 1 ton of gravel.ThanksTony Nealβ

βI wanted to try a new hair salon as I was fed up of having my hair done and not being happy with it, so I decided to try here and I absolutely loved it!. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Hayleigh did my hair and I couldnβt fault her, she did it exactly how I wanted it and I love it!. Such a lovely colour and the amount of comments I have had about it is crazy. I will be certainly coming back here again and will be reccomending the scrap yard salon to people :)β
βStopped in here after a trip to the local Blaze farm with our toddler. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the place was very modern and clean. The food menu was very good with lots of choice. I had a steak and red wine pie and it was delicious, my wife had a fish and chips without fault and our son had a burger and chips. They gave him the option for beans or peas and as he couldnβt decide gave him both at no extra charge which was a nice touch. Not expensive for the quality, service and setting. Highly recommend if you are in the area.β
βOutstanding wonky Tudor moated Manor house. Built between about 1504 to 1610, it has a fascinating history including being requisitioned in 1643 by Parliamentarians during the English Civil War which plunged the Moreton family owners in to crippling debt. Beautiful house and gardens with a good cafe and shop. Well worth a visit.β
βBeautiful authentic Italian pizzas and they even made a vegan one for my mum. All such friendly staff too! We are very lucky to have a shop like this in Tunstall and I hope people support them.β
βI get take out food every other week while I'm at work, and its amazing. Loads of vegan options, and the owners are so lovely. Always love trying new bits. The vegan hot chocolate is lovely and the jacket potatoes and toasties are divine!!!β
βExcellent craft beer and gin bar. Staff are fantastic & bar is a great place to come to. Can't recommend highly enoughβ
βVery good little gem. Visited today for dinner, and greatly surprised of the quality of the pub. Inside it is absolutely spotless clean, atmosphere very cosy, and staff friendly. Food was 9/10 and service also, this due to not being double checked after we had our mains, and the veggies were microwaved and not fully cooked. Weβve noticed all the food comes on a plate, but chips and veggies separate which is a new thing and we couldnβt decide weather is working or not, as we had to share a bowl of chipβs between us. I totally recommend the pate, chicken goujons, and the pie for the main. The pie was cooked perfectly, and the beef was very very tasty and soft. Puddings 9/10, again, custard seemed to be microwaved and had some lumps inside and a jelly texture, but only few places are doing dessert in the house nowadays so its totally understandable. Weβll definitely be back as it was a worthy experience. Very good prices for food but also for the drinks considering the current markets. Thank you.β
βfirst time visited, arrrived 1:50pm on Wednesday, all desserts are Β£5 only. the service was good and the food that we ordered were tasty. buffalo chicken wings almost charged Β£1 per wing. the confit belly pork, steak pie and sea baa were delicious. both crumbles and sticky toffee pudding with custard were values for money (Β£5 per dessert on wednesday)β
βWe went to see the Christmas decorations within the main house. There's no extra charge for National Trust Members but you still have to book a time slot. Absolutely fabulous displays with really interesting info boards to explain the function of each room at Christmas, and some very clever themes applied to the decorations. Fun activities for kids, some very enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers to support the visit. Well worth a look if this is your kind of thingβ

βFrom the moment we walked in you could feel the love. We were welcomed with a smile into this beautiful restaurant. The antipasti was fabulous, delicious and the gluten free garlic bread was a winner! I then had gluten free pasta Bolognese IT.WAS.DELICIOUS authentic made with love, I could have eaten platefuls. Kev had a diavola pizza and 8/10, I asked what would have made it a 10 and he said a little more fire, it was cooked to perfection! A slightly burned base The staff were genuinely invested in making the experience just great. We couldn't manage a dessert sadly. Would love a Fabrizio's in Banbury thank youβ
