“Sue took great care of my Persian rescue cat - he was matted and recovering from major surgery but needed a groom to stop him from over grooming himself. He is a very shy cat but Sue managed to groom him despite his protests, I think her experience as a vet nurse helped her. She took her time and he wasn't shaking or hiding when I collected him which he usually does with other groomers. Now he looks very handsome with his lion cut and we plan to go back to her every few months. Her prices were the best we have had in the four years of having him groomed too!”

“Been going to Barkers now with my Bichon for 9 plus years Although there are groomers closer to where I live and I’m in my late seventies I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Always come away extremely happy with the results and just can’t praise Barkers enough. My dog skips in when I take her. Lovely clean place !!!”

“Its a beautifully kept property, fantastic facilities, and an absolutely stunning kitchen! The outside space is fantastic and the beds are so comfy! Absolutely wonderful place to stay ahead of my wedding and I would definitely return! Loved finding all the wood carvings of cute little mice!! The hosts are kind and caring and so easy to talk to! We did drive passed the initial sign for the entrance which wasn't as visible as I'd expected but good directions are given by the host so it was an easy fix.”

“Fantastic house to rent. Sleeps 12 very comfortably, decorated lovely with added autumn decorations when we were there. Plenty of room with two living areas a big kitchen and great dining room for everyone to gather to eat. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with equipment including air fryer and slow cooker. Lots of utensils that I usually find lacking when going away. Our only downside was the AGA not working as it would have made cooking for 11 so much easier, but we managed to sort with all other options available. Towels in all rooms, with extras for the hot tub. Host welcoming and helpful. Out in the country but close to lots of places to go out to during the day. Had a great stay and would recommend.”

“It's a hidden treasure. First of all the host lady was very welcoming. She showed everything were we should park, she offered us tea and coffee after arriving and she served fresh milk. About the house: it's in town center but nice soundproof. In the room was a huge led TV, plates, microwave, a mini fridge and even an extra single bed. The house provides towels and hair dryer and a book with a lot of information, local taxi nr, direction to local attractions, restaurants recommendations everything. We couldn't ask for more. It was a pleasure to stay in this lovely place.”
