“On Saturday I had to have my cat put to sleep. The care, love and compassion from Deborah was amazing. Although it was past closing time she waited for my son and DIL to come to support me and she tranquilised Heidi so we could say our goodbyes to her. After she had died Deborah was still talking to her, even as we left I could hear her chatting to Heidi. Such care and true compassion I have never seen before. God bless you Deborah xx”

“I have recently had my first weight loss consultation at the pharmacy. I was a little anxious about the appointment, to say the least, but the pharmacist made me feel at ease straight away - he was so kind and considerate. The pharmacist discussed the best weight loss plan for me and gave me all the information I needed. With his guidance I have started on one of the weight loss injections available and I am managing those injections at home myself. I will be seeing the pharmacist now on a regular basis to help me with my weight loss. Thank you Chris.”

“We went for a flu jab last weekend and it was so well organised! A lot of people were due to have the jabs. We turned up a bit early, joined a longish queue which went down very quickly, there were plenty of friendly helpers, the jabs were done quickly and efficiently and we were out. It all took about 10 minutes.”

“Helped immensely today with a stray cat we took in, we contacted them to advise we had a stray cat and asked for their advice. They advised to head along so it could be scanned for a microchip, we went down, the cat was scanned and the owner was contacted. The cat was 17 years old, deaf and had been missing for a week. “I just wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you. You weren’t my registered vets (as I live in Manchester), but while staying with family in Stoke, I came to see you as an emergency on a Saturday afternoon. I have a 5-year-old Frenchie who’s been in and out of vet clinics his whole life due to chronic ear issues, originally caused by allergies. Over the years, I’ve seen countless vets, been asked the same questions repeatedly, not properly listened to, and given the same advice I’ve already tried time and time again. I often feel fobbed off and, to be honest, like many practices care more about charging for everything than they do about the welfare of our pets. But coming to you was a breath of fresh air. You cared about Joey just as much as I do. Bruce immediately recognised Joey’s anxiety and didn’t try to poke or prod him, which would’ve only made things worse. Instead, he listened to me, discussed what we’d already tried, and suggested a long-term solution—TECA surgery. He spent nearly an hour talking through the procedure, potential complications, and expected outcomes. I’m writing this review two months later, on the day of Joey’s surgery, while he snores peacefully beside me. I cannot thank Bruce enough. Although this is major surgery, I truly believe it will give Joey a new lease of life. Thank you for taking the time to listen, help, and care for Joey as much as I do. And it wasn’t just Bruce—every staff member I dealt with over the few weeks I was in and out of your practice (for eye ulcers and ear infections) was incredible. Chloe and Liam were calm, patient, understanding, and genuinely couldn’t do enough for me (there were panicked tears on the phone - and they were absolutely brilliant!) They always called back when they said they would and showed real care for Joey and his wellbeing. Empathy goes a long way, and that's what differentiates your practice to the rest, each and everyone of you made me feel seen, heard, and supported—not just as a pet owner, but as someone who truly loves their dog. That level of compassion and consistency is rare, and it’s what sets your practice apart. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being everything we needed and more. Thank you all for making both of our lives hopefully so much easier after this surgery. Although you’re not local, I’ve now changed my vets—and the hour-long drive is absolutely worth it. You’re not just my emergency vets anymore—you’re my everyday vets.”

“Today at the meir park branch the staff went above and way beyond when my mum was taken poorly ( she is fine now) I hope the staff read this as they were excellent in their care and assistance to both my parents. My dad was looked after by the floor manager and a couple of lovely ladies finished putting his shopping through the till, packed it and took it to his car. They also arranged for a member of staff to follow me to my dad's as I needed to get back to my own car there. They helped him in and unpacked his shopping while I got him settled. Then drove me back to mum who was being seen to in the ambulance.! Amazing helpful caring and professional throughout. Thankyou”
