“I stopped in for a quick dinner while staying at a nearby hotel and was very pleased! The birria tacos and papitas fritas were both delicious. The classic margaritas were also well-made. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. The music was good, although a tad loud at times. Overall, I'm very glad I found this place!”

“Some of the best food I’ve ever had, truly. I got the salmon/smoked haddock special, my fiancé got the lamb burger, and we split a seafood chowder to start. The seafood chowder had ENORMOUS chunks of fresh, delicious salmon. The wine list is pretty good for Ireland and features Romanian wine in particular. Loved every bite!”

These baos are very authentic, being from Singapore myself it’s almost impossible to find any truly authentic Asian food. Excellent food with attentive service and helpful, friendly staff! Tonight was a special occasion we were not disappointed food was amazing we both had Mussels to start i had bang bang chicken (my fav option on the menu) my husband had a special chicken burger he said was amazing. “Today is the second time in the last few weeks iv had breakfast here due to changing my mechanic, first time was unbeatable the second time just as great, the food is of good quality, fresh and cooked to perfection with no pools off grease as iv experienced in other places, staff are upbeat, friendly and willing to go that extra mile, the cleanliness is at a high standard and portions are generous, this is the best fry iv had in a very long time so in mine and no doubt many others opinions it’s good food high quality without dramas or without eating something just because you’ve paid, honestly give it a try if passing you won’t be disappointed!! Well done guys!!!”

“Northernirelandholidays visited Joxer in Bangor today for a spot of brunch. We had to wait a short while for a table even though there were free tables available. Once seated we were given our menus which have a great selection to choose from and different from the usual burgers and goujons. We went for po boy and the crab, prawns, and bread were perfect. It came with fries which were also very good. What sets the restaurant apart in that there was a bottle of water on the table, there were nice glasses, the cutlery was good and there was salt and pepper, not the sachets you get in other establishments, but a proper salt and pepper grinder. Overall an excellent experience and we will be going back to try the other dishes. There are also tray bakes available at the counter.”

“Sugar Rays was absolutely amazing! Their menu has so many good looking meals on it with many different combos, deals, vegetarian options, a Christmas meal, and a selection of pizzas which included gluten free based pizzas if required. They also make amazing drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic as well as hot drinks and milkshakes. They have a lovely range of desserts as well. The staff here were extremely nice, the service here was also great as our meals were made super quick and still maintained amazing quality to the point that the food melted in your mouth. This is an amazing place to eat out with family and to take your date out to and I'll definitely be going here again. I need to try more of the menu!”
