“It was my aunties funeral today and we held the wake at the Oscott. It was a great location, large car park, and a decent modernised venue room. Anna could not do enough for us and the bar staff was all pleasant and friendly. We was offered a great service by all staff at the oscott and I would personally like to thank Anna for being efficient and very engaging with the whole process and build up up to today’s date. My auntie had a lovely send off and and even better wake. I would highly recommend holding your party/wedding/wake ect at this venue. Thanks again all, Kindest regards Lisa”

“A real proper local what more can you ask for. Had a pint of real ale and it was spot on, well kept and bang on temp. Good selection of other drinks. Staff were lovely and warm, smiling and the building has a real old school look and feel, we need more of these pubs and save those that are left. A true gem and a pillar of its community.”

“we come here after we visit kinver edge for a drink and a meal. this place is very nice, there’s seating outside when the weather is nice, they have a nice size carpark, drinks and food is lovely, especially the fish and chips, my family have the sunday roast and they love it, they keep nagging me to take them again considering we live in birmingham. friendly staff and great service. oh and the chips were delicious.”

They truly listened to what I envisioned and went above and beyond to bring it to life. “Found this little gem by chance, and what a find. Recently taken over by new management. The decor was welcoming and comforting, with very nice leather sofa's and armchairs, amongst other tables and chairs. with a nice out door area included at the rear of the pub. We had an afternoon lunch which was of high quality at a very decent price. Staff was very pleasant too. A must visit, one which we will certainly be returning too soon.”

“I booked the function room for my partners baby shower. From booking the room up to leaving after the baby shower had finished I could not believe the service I received. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, the function room was ready for me to set up early enough to make sure everything was ready for my partner. The staff made sure that everyone was ok and gave them a warm friendly welcome. A lot of the people that came ordered food and everyone said they enjoyed their meals and would definitely be returning with their family and friends again. I highly recommend Farm John's to anyone who wants and nice meal in a cosy environment with staff that will help you with any need.”
