I had the mixed grill , not usually a big fan of the fish however every single part of the grill here was very tasty. Highly recommended and I even encouraged the owner to expand his brand and bring this gem of a concept to more communities.... Keep up the great work”

Great atmosphere and service (despite only 2 staff being on duty) Vicky was outstanding in multi tasking serving, clearing and offering first class service with a smile. “Weve just had our family festive xmas meal at the Wernley, lovely pub, usually warm but heating was broke but just warm enough not to be uncomfortable. (Hope they get it fixed soon). Friendly staff, very helpful with taking our various payments for our meal, taxi number etc. The food was excellent for the price of under £19 for 3 courses with crackers!! The only thing that was negative was a large party of young adults with young kids & toddlers running around, screaming, crying etc no parental control whatsoever but not the pubs fault i suppose.”

“We went in for the food in the garden and wow it was amazing. The burgers are juicy and flavoursome and the fires are incredible ! The staff are friendly in the pub too and they have a good choice of drinks. The interior is stunning as they have restored a lot of the 1920’s features of the pub. It was friendly and the atmosphere was good with plenty of seating inside and out !”

“This is a great hotel in a really good and convenient location only a short drive from the airport and NEC. Lovely rooms (really comfy beds!) and wonderful staff. Lucy the receptionist was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful and tended to our every need. The only negative to point out was the car park which was extremely busy due to an event and what seemed to be a very popular gym.”

“An absolutely fantastic experience- the DJ set during the day was fab and they have a variety of different events going on all through the summer that have caught our interest, but more importantly I am beyond grateful for how inclusive and safe the staff make the place - I took my brother who has learning difficulties and autism out yesterday for a drink in a pub garden by the waterfront and stumbled upon red by night in the process- we were only intending to stay out till 6:30 but everyone was chatting away with him and he was so energised and excited when given the chance to stick around, it was so nice seeing him chattering away with the security and the bartenders and the owner spent so much time chatting with him and checking in on him and was so encouraging to him, we ended up staying until 10:30 for the live tribute band and I finally got my brother his first nightlife experience I'd been promising him for months!! Thank you so much to James, to Dan, Jazz and all the rest of the bartenders who were answering all his questions and recommending drinks to him and also thankyou to Ali on the door for chatting away to him we will definitely be returning here as soon as possible :) the place to go if you want a friendly, welcoming, inclusive safe space”

“First time coming in a few years after seeing recent social media posts. The food is freshly cooked so there is a little wait but when it is as good as it was, I really don't mind. I can't tell you how big the chunky chips were and the short rib beef was delicious! The staff were really friendly and welcoming too. The menu is small but I think that is a good thing as everything is cooked well. Will be back for some 2-4-1 cocktails and a Sunday for a carvery. A little hidden gem!”
