“Come here after a while after being reccomended for food. Have to say was not disappointed. Top notch service and the new chefs are on point. “Me and my 19 year old daughter popped in for food . Fantastic menu ! Something for everyone to choose from, Food arrived freshly cooked and piping hot and very tasty! “My friend and I aways go out for a birthday burger at different places - he told me this place had the best chicken burger he’d ever had. It had a lot to live up to, and it’s always hard to enjoy something when you’ve been told its the best, because you’re no longer comparing it to just being nice… it now has to deliver. So tried to forget all that, ordered a MotherClucker, took my time - and by the fourth mouthful I was convinced. I’ve not had a better chicken burger anywhere else! Using the thigh meat keeps it juicy and is nicely balanced against the very crisp coating. It’s clearly all cooked fresh so a burger like this could take 15-20 minutes to assemble, but I’d wait every time! We’ll be back!”

“Wetherspoons food is pretty standard across the board. Service is good as long as the establishment isnt too busy then it can be a bit of a wait. Usually a good atmosphere. Props to Dan he's an asset to the company”

“Homely, welcoming, lovely place to drop in for food. Staff are great and are always friendly. Nothing is too big an ask. Big shout out to Amy and Sam who are in mine and my families opinion our favourite staff members. It can get very busy in there so book if you can to avoid being turned away. Food is fresh well stocked and hot as you come to expect. An excellent Toby, definitely recommend.”

“Had the most amazing Nikah at Castle Bromwich! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The decor was stunning, and the management was outstanding I couldn’t fault a single thing. They truly listened to what I envisioned and went above and beyond to bring it to life. The attention to detail was incredible, and they exceeded all my expectations. uncle Aftab definitely knows how to keep his customers happy and above all listens and delivers. “I have not visited here for a at least 3 years, but I have visited twice in 3 week's. A very welcoming pub, a great mix of well established communities and strangers are welcome. Great traditional humour abounds and everyone just respects and gets on with things. Staff members are fantastic and are committed to serving customers as quick as they can. Definately a stand alone gem within the wider Birmingham area. Competitive food and beer prices as you would expect from a Wetherspoons. Would say to anyone, if your are passing by, pop in.”

“Very impressed with the function room. Clean and tidy. Had a christening party here just before Christmas it was great. I even had a proper gin glass. Toilets were also cclean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend this place.”

“Purchased a Groupon to use here, For the price I was absolutely blown away, not only was the food lovely but the service was great as well! the lady at the front was very friendly and attentive and the man doing the Teppanyaki was very engaging and friendly as well! The food was absolutely wonderful I would happily come back again! It was quite quiet when we attended but given my partner and I are more introverted that was perfect for us. It was a lovely meal with even better service. They had even sang happy birthday to my partner when they’d found out it was his birthday and even put a candle in his ice cream which I thought was such a thoughtful and sweet touch ❤️ Would happily come back to this restaurant time and time again not only for the food but for the lovely people as well”

“We came here for a birthday treat and was pleasantly surprised. We had the mega mixed platter as we enjoy a variety of food (both meat and fish) and was left impressed and full! The staff were amazing and very accommodating. I would give a special shout out to our server but unfortunately didn't get his name. He was very helpful and was prompt in refunding the booking fee as its something I forgot about on ordering the food. As other reviews have mentioned the music is a little loud (we were pretty much sat by the D.J) however upon being seated the waiter asked if we were happy with our seats, which we were, so I'm sure they could accommodate a quieter spot if requested. Food is a very good price and did not break the bank for the mixture of food we had! All in all a really good experience and would be very happy to return in the near future!”
