“The best place to get cannoli’s! A super friendly and inviting older gentleman served us, and even walked us out of the shop. It’s quaint and has all the Italian basics ready to buy ranging from San Marzano tinned tomatoes to Italian bread, panettone and biscuits. It even serves pizza and fresh cakes and sandwiches and I simply cannot get enough! I am sold and will definitely be going back.”

“Freshly made pizzas that are yummy. When I mean freshly made I mean freshly made! Not this frozen vegetables like all the other places. They make the base in front of you. Not over powered with spices and mixture of cheese. It's done in a proper Italian style and made with love!”

“I don’t get too emotional about food. Most of the time I taste, shrug and move on with my life. When I dined at Poli, a casual pizza restaurant, on the first bite into the pickled grapes I stopped dead in my tracks and assessed what I was tasting. It didn’t stop there, the buratta, courgette Pizza, sourdough bread. All dishes were dancing salsa style on the dance floor of my taste buds. I forgot where I was and when reality slowly settled back in I had a smile on my face. Goodness gracious, the dough used in the pizza and side of bread has so many textures and flavours it makes my mind spin. When you have dough that good, when it’s prepared perfectly in a wood fires oven the result is outer crisp, crunch and inner elasticity. I have to give Poli a respectful bow. You are my favourite pizza restaurant.”

“Best gluten free pizza i’ve ever had, i cannot stress how basically identical it is to normal thin crust pizza, gorgeous sauce and delicious. way way better then the big pizza places, will only come here from now on! the only size option is a large too so don’t expect a tiny pizza like the other places! The box came with a GF sticker on the flap so there’s no confusion too”

“Atmosphere one of the best I have experienced as the aesthetic is truly beautiful. Ice latte good, onion rings probably my favourite part of my lunch, however the ‘nasi goreng’ a bit too oily (Could see the oil at the bottom). Staff friendly aswell.”

“My husband and I stopped by today. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and kind. I was having trouble choosing a milkshake, so I asked for his recommendation. When my order was ready, he told me that he had made two shakes with both flavors so I could try them both. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. “Its place with natural charm and its so hard to find these days with all these chain restaurants around. Seems its run by family with good values and food recipes. Simple but lovely atmosphere, large menu and its changes often apparently depending what fresh ingredients they can get in. Service was excellent. A must try !”

“We have been going to pizza by goli for years! The food is always spot on with service to match. We normally go to Sutton Coldfield but tried The Lichfield restaurant last night which was great. We were served by Danielle who really looked after our evening but we were sad to find out at the end that any gratuity could only be cash (nobody carries cash). Please bear this in mind as the food is great but the serving staff were fantastic also.”

“Where to start this gem? From the website, the ordering process was super easy. But the kids loved the look of the food and wanted to go in, so we booked and headed over. Lots of parking near by. Walked into the restaurant and it was a very nice atmosphere. We were greeted quickly, lewis and Minnie went above and beyond throughout our entire visit. The kids were spoken to by each server, which they loved. The food was amazing. The OG Burger is mouth watering good! The pizza's are so moreish! We quickly ordered and the food arrived very quickly. It was cooked beautifully and full of flavour. The owner popped by and asked how we found the food, we told him it was amazing. The kids took interest in the oven, I explained how it worked. But Minnie and the owner got them involved in a pizza making session. It was do heart warming. The kids loved it. The business is run professionally and without any hiccups. The food tastes amazing. They've gained a customer for life now. If it isn't me, it definitely is my kids. Thank you so much to all of the team. What a wholesome and enjoyable experience.”
