The room was spotless, modern, and super comfortable, everything perfectly clean and well looked after. A huge thank you to Mini at reception — she was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. After such a rough start to my trip, she truly turned things around and made me feel at home. The whole hotel is calm, clean, and well organized — I finally managed to rest properly! “Stayed here for business, rooms a bit dated but to be expected with an older hotel. Perfectly adequate. Superb and friendly staff, especially Tamsin in the bar and front desk. Fantastic breakfast which set me up for the day, no need for lunch. Bar downstairs which has good range of dri as and open until midnight for residents. Will stay again. Excellent location, with parking at the rear and a short 10 minute walk into the town centre.”

This time we decided to come pretty last minute, we booked last night for a table of 15 for today and they got us in no problems, and service was absolutely fantastic yet again. Brilliant vegan and veggie options, great sized portions, reasonably priced and always so friendly and happy to help. Wonderful family pub, we’ll always come here for our family meals! ❤️”
