“Despite my parent’s dog being registered locally with another veterinary practice and me ringing during their opening hours expressing concern that the dog needed to be seen urgently, I was declined an appointment. I was left ringing round and Shepherd’s Vets came to the rescue with an Out of Hours appointment at home to sadly put to sleep their dog. The visiting vet and nurse were compassionate and caring and I can’t thank them enough for their support during what was a difficult and heartbreaking position. The only vets locally to do home visits and I will transferring my cats to their care to ensure I don’t have a repeat experience of being declined an appointment in a pets hour of need!”

“What can i say - I wish there was a 10 Star available - Visited 2 weeks ago in immense pain due to ear and throat infection. Had previously visited 2 woeful pharmacists in Brierley hill (See my reviews) needed angels from heaven to come down and rescue me - And 3 of them work at McCardle's! Forgotten the names (sorry!), but between them and the pharmacist they could not help me enough, procedures had to be followed which i fully understand but after 15mins i had been prescribed antibiotics. After a couple of days i was feeling much better and able to attend my daughter's graduation! - MANY MANY MANY THANKS!”

I'd particularly like to single out Sunah who strikes me as management and if she is not she certainly should be. She went beyond what I had expected to resolve an issue I'd had where the store wasn't even at fault. That left an impression and I was extremely grateful. They are all great in there and the pharmacy is really efficient and informative too. Can't speak highly enough.”
