Despite how busy it was, the service was quick, efficient, and friendly — a smooth experience from start to finish. The food was packed with authentic flavours and everything tasted freshly made. From the noodles to the mains, each dish delivered on taste and presentation. It’s also worth mentioning that the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size you get. If you’re looking for a tasty and affordable bite in Star City, Oodles N’Oodles is definitely worth checking out.”

“I had a lovely experience of eating at Chelo. It's a Persian kitchen with authentic flavours and superb dining experience. I loved Chicken Koobideh with flat bread and fries as side. I loved their baklava and saffron ice cream. The staff was hospitable and welcoming. Paris who served me was professional and had superb customer service skills. I shall come here again.”

“First time coming to this restaurant and there’s a reason this is the number one pizza place in Birmingham. The pizza I had was Eat, Meat, Repeat and it was absolutely delicious. Also got some garlic bread with it and that was gorgeous too. All reasonably priced as well and the drinks are bottomless so have as much as you want. Staff nice and polite and the atmosphere was great. Will call here again.”

“Ooh lala!!!!!!!! This restaurant is one of a kind. We came here on a Saturday evening, staff were very friendly and the food ranks as the best vegetarian restaurant we've been to in UK. “We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Lulu Wild and had an amazing experience. The shared steamed dumpling platter was a perfect start, with fish, chicken, scallop, and vegetarian dumplings all delicious. We also loved the Firecracker Squid. For mains, my wife had the Wagyu Beef while I enjoyed the Spicy Prawn Coconut Curry with cashews and basmati rice beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The food was outstanding, presentation was elegant, and the service was warm and welcoming. A perfect spot for a special occasion!”

“Visited twice in June 2021 and I can highly recommend. Standard set here is exceptionally good. First off great Chips - the staple for any Fish and Chip shop. Have had the Haddock also, large, well cook with a crispy batter. Donner Meat meals are packed with food and good value. Curry sauce is especially very good and not the normal "out of packet" you get everywhere else. They have a lot of "specials" like 'swedish meat balls' which are VERY nice as are the battered Black Pudding is a must have! Really pleased with our couple of visits and will be our "norm" as long as it keeps those standards. Oh and they even have dog biscuits for those visiting along with their furry friends. Staff are very friendly and service is quick.”

The fish is always fresh with perfectly crispy batter, and the chips are spot on – not greasy and full of flavour. staffd are brilliant – always friendly, welcoming, and hardworking. You can tell they really care about the food and the service. The place is clean, the prices are fair, and the portions are generous. If you're after proper fish and chips, this is the place to go.”

“I came here last week with a few friends and I have to say this place is a hidden gem. 1st time here and I was blown away by the food, service and dining experience. The food was bursting with so much flavour, being from a Bangladeshi background I am very particular about my curries and have high standards and can say they delivered. The waiter knew the menu and recommended some dishes for us. We ordered a king prawn garlic Jhinga, lamb bengal naga (absolutely delicious) and chicken sag special. Make sure yiu have the signature rice that was something different and went really well with the curries. Overall excellent service and food at a very high standard. Will definitely be coming here again.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing food and great experience at Shazans in Birmingham! Visited Shazans recently and was really impressed — everything from the food to the service was excellent. The place has a lively, welcoming vibe and you can tell right away that the food is made with care and passion. We started with the lamb chops and shrimp, and both were absolutely delicious. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked — tender inside with a lovely char on the outside. They were seasoned beautifully with that smoky, spicy flavour you want from good chops. Each bite was juicy, rich, and full of taste. The shrimp starter was just as good — fresh, well-marinated, and cooked perfectly so it was tender and flavorful without being chewy. The combination of spices and slight heat made it a great start to the meal. For the mains, we had the Shirpur donner with naan and a Naga donner pie, and both were spot on. The Shirpur donner was packed with flavour — the meat was juicy, nicely spiced, and paired perfectly with the soft, warm naan. It had that classic takeaway comfort feel, but with a fresher, better-balanced taste. The Naga donner pie was a real standout. It had a spicy kick from the naga that added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the rest of the flavours. The pastry was golden and flaky, and the filling inside was rich, savoury, and satisfying — a really unique and tasty dish that you don’t find everywhere. The portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and piping hot. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The staff were also super friendly and attentive, checking in often and making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Shazans is an excellent spot in Birmingham if you’re craving great grilled food and creative South Asian flavours. The starters were packed with taste, the mains were hearty and full of character, and the whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommend trying the lamb chops and the Naga donner pie — both absolute winners. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!”
