“Myself and my twelve year old Daughter attended a show at cardiff castle on 28/10/2025, and what a fantastic show it was. The host was so informative and caring of the animals. We saw owls, a toad, a python and a hedgehog to name just a few. At the end of the show we got to hold a Tarantula, something that I had needlessly feared my entire life. My fear is now cured and I'm so happy as a result. Would most definitely recommend this show for children and adults alike. Thanks to everyone involved.”
“I attend this restaurant often, Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service is awesome and the management is very accommodating. Their food is freshly made, and I always enjoy every bit. This is the best place so far to relax with friends and families and have a good meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.”
“Thought I’d give it a try after going there after going something like 20 years ago. I thought I’d made a mistake until the food came and I demolished it. I had full English breakfast with coffee. 5 star and thoroughly enjoyed it. And best of all was the price. I mentioned when I left that it was fantastic and very cheap. Thanks girls. No doubt I’ll see you again.”
“What a great experience, if you love snow boarding, Ice skating, sleding, it is cold in there so you need to wrap up warm , there is a santa show and lots of different animals to see and pet, you can also buy food for them , great for the little kids . The kids can also write a letter to santa (adults too).”

“We've been visiting Forge Mill Farm for years as we're walking distance away. It used to be a small enterprise with a simple outdoor play area and opportunities to see some cute farm animals. Recently they've massively upped their game so it's even more worth a visit and such good value for money. We've done their lambing and sunflower events in the past and both were wonderful. Today we went to their pumpkin picking patches and they have done such a good job with the indoor and outdoor areas - so many photo opportunities! You can buy varied different squashes as well as the pumpkins but there's no obligation to and the pumpkin areas are included in the general entry. They've also opened a new cafe and indoor play area which is so impressive! We will continue to enjoy many more trips here as our little one grows up.”
“Our family had the most wonderful stay-and-play experience at Drayton Manor Resort, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! My wife, our 5-year-old son, and I visited recently during their Halloween special, and it was a magical experience from start to finish. Everything — from the themed décor to the warm hospitality — made it one of the best family getaways we’ve ever had. The highlight of our trip was, without a doubt, the Thomas Land theme park. Our little boy is a huge Thomas the Tank Engine fan, and seeing his face light up when we entered was priceless. He absolutely loved riding on the Thomas-themed trains, meeting his favourite characters, and exploring all the fun rides designed especially for younger children. The park was beautifully decorated for Halloween with pumpkins, friendly ghosts, and cheerful seasonal music, creating a festive yet family-friendly atmosphere. Every corner had something new to discover, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making the experience enjoyable for both kids and parents. We also stayed overnight in one of the Thomas & Friends-themed rooms, and it was simply amazing. The attention to detail was outstanding — from the Thomas bedding and wall art to the little touches that made our son feel like he was sleeping in Sodor itself. He was so thrilled that he didn’t want to go to bed, and the next morning, he didn’t want to leave! In fact, he kept asking if we could stay “just one more night” so he could go back to Thomas Land again. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the experience even better. The food options were great, and everything was clean, well-organized, and family-oriented. Overall, Drayton Manor Resort is a dream destination for families, especially those with young children. We created some truly special memories and can’t wait to visit again — maybe next time for Christmas or summer!”
“How can you not love these creatures? ))”
“Very cool to see all the hippos bathing in the lake”
“Angie was amazing at my son's 7th birthday party, very friendly and knowledgeable. Kept the kids engaged and her animals are just gorgeous.”
“Reptile World is a fantastic place to visit, especially if you’re interested in reptiles or looking for something a bit different to do. The selection of animals is impressive — from snakes and lizards to turtles and more — and they all look healthy and well cared for. You can tell the staff are passionate about what they do. What I loved most was how knowledgeable and friendly the team were. They were happy to answer questions, explain the different species, and even give us some interesting facts about how to care for reptiles. It’s clear they really care about educating visitors, not just showing the animals. The place itself was clean and well organised, making it easy to walk around and get a good look at everything. It’s a great spot for families — kids would love the chance to get up close to creatures they don’t usually see every day. Prices were reasonable for the experience, and we left feeling like we had learned a lot. If you’re even slightly interested in reptiles, or just want a fun and educational trip, I’d highly recommend Reptile World.”
“Excellent staff to assist always. Great property with all the trimmings. Excellent Company. Always kept line of communications opened.”
“Visited this show to see the theatrics of the Sea Lion. It was very entertaining indeed and wholesome. The Sea Lion is clearly well trained and looked after and did really well with its trainer. A magnificent performance all around and it's all included in the price so that's an added bonus.”
“A great car park with lots of space. you pay to park here it's very cheap per hour and you can pay at the paypoint or pay via the ringo app”
“Best place to enjoy your day with family. Food, zoo, park, and rides. Complete fun day”
“Best pizza place in netherton! Never had any problems, food is delicious and the service is unbelievable amazing.”
“Nice welcoming place with lots of farm animals, kids had a tractor ride and had a nice lunch at the café, nice afternoon out...”
“The kitchen at Queens Marie is a very good restaurant in the Dolly Castle and area. The only thing I found is a bit expensive here. It’s almost double the average price of the local market like if you wanna fish and chips, it’s £11 or something so it’s it’s feel bit expensive, but it’s okay if you wanna enjoy here in the jungle castle it’s good.”
