“Best pub We've been to! The Watchmakers arms is our local and has been for the last few years. Whilst we aren't the most regular drinkers, whenever we do fancy one, this is the spot we always go to. We recently had a fantastic booking here with some friends, and T.W.A was exceptional and highly accommodating (As always). The staff / owners are simply a joy, always have a smile on and happy to help! The beers are always so incredible, and for being in the center of Hove, they are unbelievably competitive. There are many, many Green King / other chains close by where the price is significantly higher, I can't believe how cheap the beer is for the quality you get here. The atmosphere of the pub is always perfect, overall we can't recommend this pub highly enough!! A huge thanks to Ruth, Rick, Luciano - the whole team!”

“It's a great place, they cook delicious Indian food with kind service. The offer only take away service. They accept credit cards. If you are ordering by phone it takes around 45m-1hr to arrive and they will take your credit card info over the phone (I've never had an issue with them). My favorite take-away in Brighton.”

“A little over 7£ for two pastries. We got almond croissant and a fruit danish, both tasted divine. Theres a layer of what tastes like evaporated milk in the middle of the pastry layers which elevates them to the next level. Very impressed.”

“Tried this place for the first time and it did not disappoint. The food is authentic Afghani, full of flavor, and the portion sizes are generous … you’ll definitely leave full! The menu has so much variety, it was hard to choose just one dish. Service was fast, the staff were really welcoming, and best of all, no service charge! The restaurant is easy to find and 100% halal. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something hearty and real.”

“We went here for our anniversary dinner, wonderful food and service! We had the duck and lamb, both very tender and juicy. For starters we had the duck roll and scallops, I normally don’t enjoy seafood which I always find “fishy” but I loved the scallop, complemented by the sauce/puree that goes with it. For dessert we had the mango cheesecake, not the most impressive but not bad and would overall recommend this place !”

“Very good Japanese tapas restaurant in Brighton Preston Street. This is a good quality restaurant located in the heart ot Brighton's food district. Well spaced tables for Covid19 and order by forms minimum contact. Great cocktails too and the service I received was excellent. Great menu with lots of choices and nice decor.”

“What a fantastic little country pub. Food is absolutely delicious (particularly the roast tatties...!) Staff are very welcoming and friendly, Chris the landlord is a charmer such a nice chap, makes the pub feel like a home. Out of all the pubs in Alfriston, The Six Bells is by far the best and least pretentious. Proper English pub overlooking the church serving great food, beers, wines and spirits. Will definitely be back...!”

“I have been coming to this hair salon since 2022 and I always have the best experience. Ingrid is amazing and thanks to her I have the best hair extensions. I started with keratin extensions and Ingrid recommended that I make the change to a weft instead. I am so impressed with the results and the weft blends seamlessly with my natural hair. My hair looks healthy, voluminous and is easy to manage. I highly recommend Fine to Fabulous and especially the weft extensions.”

“My mother and I visited this place on the 09.10.25 during lunch time hours. We were greeted with a beautiful smile form a young lady that was very happy passionate and welcoming. She designated a very nice table with a good view by the window overlooking the best view. All other staff were very kind and attentive including the restaurant owner . The atmosphere was nice with great menu selection and very good music playing in the background. The young lady was efficient and always took care of my mother's needs and even spoke in my mother's mother tongue spanish. The food was great, always well presented and very delicious. We had alot of fish dishes and they were tasty and well cooked . Overall it was a very pleasant experience lovely restaurant very clean on a beautiful sunny day. Upon existing the restaurant we were very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone working that day.Also the lady owner was actually near the entrance she very nicely spoke to us briefly with a smile and said our goodbyes. “I’ve been to this restaurant several times and always leave wanting more. The sushi tacos are unlike anything I’ve had anywhere else and their other menu items are just as delicious! It’s a family-owned business and every time I go in they are so kind. You can see the passion they have for their food and taste it as well. I could not recommend more!!”

Its taste and flavour were perfect. The service and the servers were excellent. She was so welcoming and made my experience even better. I can only say that there is room for improvement in toilets. There was no tissue paper, but the soap smelled very good.”

“I moved to Portslade in February and The Foghorn has become one of my favourite locals. I love ale and this place is heaven for that, straight from the barrel so every pint is fresh as a daisy. Tommy, Tim and all the staff are great too. They also have a great selection of wine and cider, friendly locals also add to the all round great vibe of the place. Proper pub!”

“We came to Blossoms in Brighton last night and it was great from walking through the door to sitting down. Drinking cocktails and eating food. The food was incredible. Service was spot on and the cocktails well for someone who doesn’t usually drink they were SO good.”
